    TLDR: Definitely go with Precision…read more Work: 2 mini splits, 1 on outer wall and one through the attic high up on our vaulted ceiling. Brian has stellar work ethic, he did the vast majority of the work by himself (including spending hours in the attic going back and forth!). We got the newest LG units possible, which came with one hell of a learning curve for the changes they made. Brian never stopped pushing on the LG rep for troubleshooting to get us up and running as quickly as possible. He was very considerate of our time, never showed signs of frustration while dealing with their shortcomings (I asked lots of questions) and confirmed everything with us throughout the process. They were fast, knowledgeable, always professional and showed more care and concern for us than just about any service I have required out here thus far (including another local HVAC company that just never got back to me with our quote). In 2022, Brian replaced the HVAC unit in our old house after the A/C stopped working. It was one of the hottest weeks in the summer and they were able to prioritize scheduling with us to get the unit replaced and working quickly. Great communication throughout the entire process and very competitive pricing. This year, our furnace broke in our new house and Brian came out on New Years Day to assess, order new parts, and make the repair. He got the unit working again quickly, despite the holiday. Brian and Amady are our go-to HVAC folks and we would highly recommend them to anyone.

They asked to come Wednesday morning instead, which was a cold day. They asked on Tuesday, not far out to be able to see the weather report. I thought , cool earlier means it will work during the hot days coming. Well, nothing got fixed. My landlord had me contact them to arrange coming back with me directly. They mentioned to me that usually when it's cold they have to reschedule those people to a warmer day because they can't get an accurate read when it's too cold out. I gave the lady 3 days this week that would work for me, she said she would research it Monday would work and let me know. I told her I was at work and email is best because I can respond while cleaning up between clients but can't always call. She emailed me to say Monday wouldn't work, but nothing about Tuesday or Thursday. So I responded back about those days with no response. I emailed again that due to their mistake in rescheduling me to a cold day, per their excuse for the immaculate diagnosis, I will now be without ac all week and it's supposed to be pretty hot. I asked to be prioritized in scheduling since this error was theirs, which again, they admit. They said they would not be coming back since I am not happy so far. So, because you messed up and I agreed to let you come back but just asked to be prioritized in doing so you try to make me feel like I went off or something? Here is the email where I professionally asked to basically get this taken care of asap because it shouldn't have happened in the first place on their part. Why should I have to suffer longer because you changed my appointment to a day you couldn't accurately do a diagnosis, the exact thing you were called out to do? Now me and my dogs must suffer in a hot house until someone else can come out.

    Last year, after doing extensive research, we hired 888 to install a new furnace and heat pump, as…read morewell as a smart thermostat, for our house. They were not the cheapest or the most expensive but they have great reviews so we trusted that and the people we spoke with for the estimate. They came out and it took two full days for them to finish the job. They worked 12 hour days and made sure everything was working perfectly before leaving. Every time we had an issue (which were always small things) they came out within an hour or two. When the city inspector came out to give everything the ok, he said that they never have any problems with work done by 888. That was very reassuring. This year we had them come out to replace our other furnace and install another heat pump and smart thermostat. My house needs two furnaces but because of the requirements for tax incentives, we could only replace one per year. Tom, Omar, and Lee worked for two whole days and made sure everything was working perfectly. They made sure to put down drop cloths from the front door all the way to the basement and into the furnace room so they wouldn't track in any snow or dirt. They were conscientious and hard working and cleaned up after themselves nicely. They addressed all of our questions and made sure we were happy before they left. They do still need to get us the frame that goes around our new thermostat but I'm sure that will be done soon.
