I bought a suit for an upcoming wedding at Jos A Banks and asked how long it would take the alter it. They said they might not be able to get it done in time and to call Continental Bespoke Tailors & Alterations. I called and the owner said to come over. I came in and he was so coridial and we talked about how I wanted the suit to fit. He did a few measurements and made his marks and we were ready to go. He asked when the wedding was and promised the suit would be ready a few days before the wedding. Today I went in to pick up the suit and he was just finishing up, pressing it and getting the last details together. I tried it on and it looked so good! It was just a basic suit, but he made the suit (and me) look better than we should. The whole time we are chatting about life and such and it was a fun and relaxing environment. In all, it was about 10 days from when I dropped the suit off to when it was ready was finished. I would highly recommend this shop!

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish…read more I had a sudden funeral to attend on a Sunday, and the owner was able to take and finish my alterations in a couple hours on a Saturday. I felt bad that he was there until almost 6 but it wasn't even an issue as far as he was concerned. His store is EXACTLY what you would think of for an old-school tailor that is clearly dedicated to excellent quality and customer service. I had suit pants hemmed and the seat and waist slightly let out, as well as taking in the jacket around upper and mid back and taking in the sleeves. While admittedly I don't have much experience with tailored suits, it fits like a dream. Even my father took a second and noticed/commented on the suit looking good, and this was a suit jacket and pants that cost less than $200 from Men's Warehouse. I will undoubtedly be using this business for any and all alterations in the future and am hoping to have him provide the suits for my upcoming wedding.
