I found this on Yelp. It's quite far from thr strip but the good reviews intrigued me. Upon arrival, it is in a busy area with lots of surrounding restaurants and shops. I came on a weekday so there was a lot of parking. The restaurant is spacious and clean! The worker was very friendly and helpful. We ordered a tocilog and added longanisa. We also ordered a pork belly bowl with the pancit and lumpia add on. It was so nice to be able to opt to add those items on and not have to order them separately! We LOVED all the meats. The quality was top notch. The pancit and lumpia were also very good. I would love to give them a perfect score but I unfortunately can't because of their rice. Pinoys are known for hot, soft and fluffy rice. Theirs was more like long grain or even Basmati. It made the rice taste old. This is a great place for a comfort meal. The food feels like a warm hug. Portions are big and price is reasonable. We got two bowls and we upgrade both to combos- one with just lumpia and one with lumpia and pancit. Pork belly was sweet and savory, tender and so delicious. This was our second time visiting Oming's, and just like the first time, they did not disappoint. All of the food is made to order, so everything comes out fresh and on point. It's a cool, casual dining spot clean, welcoming, and with great customer service. We even had the pleasure of meeting the amazing Oming herself, and she blessed us by preparing our meal personally. I've always wanted to try this place and I'm so glad I did. I got the sisig combo with lumpia shanghai swapped to garlic rice. My son's got the longsilog. I went with the Adobo Beef, Shaved Rib-eye (over White Rice), "Happy" Style which is includes Pancit, and Lumpia. The Adobo has great flavor. It was a good amount of meat and fat on it. And the sauce was sweet and savory. It kind of reminded me of the sauce on a char sui. I loved the charr on it as well. 10/10 The sisig was also yummy. But I must say if you're not a cartilage fan, this dish is not for you. The meat was flavorful, but I do wish there was a crisp to the pork. That's the only texture that was missing for me. The pancit was a bit bland, but if you eat it with all the meats it balances it out. The Shang hai lumpias were tasty with the sauce, the only thing it got soggy on the bottom because of the steam/hotness from the pancit. The staff and food was great! The pork belly was good and full of umami. I don't know what cut of pork belly they use, but the fat has more of a chewy texture. The make it happy option includes 6 lumpias & pancit. There wasn't as much garlic in this garlic rice compared to the longanisa rice plate. Longanisa ($11.99): This comes with garlic rice and 2 fried eggs. The fried eggs were nice and runny. I recommend pouring the sauce on top of the eggs and rice to elevate the taste. As for the longanisa, these were the best I ever had. Lechon Belly ($xx): I didn't see this on their in-store menu but it's on their website. This is equivalent to the Chinese roasted suckling pig. The skin was thick and crunchy. The meat was tender but also very fatty. I wished they cut it into smaller pieces because they were thick. The sauce is really good though and pairs nicely with the lechon belly. Sinugba Chicken ($9.99) + Sub Veggie ($1.99): The chicken was surprisingly good, not dry, and has a similar flavor profile as teriyaki chicken. Finally got a chance to try this place. Loved the pork belly and we made it a happy combo where lumpia and pancit are added. Delicious! We ordered lechon to start because they happened to have it as a special that day. That's an item I only care for when it's super fresh so the skin is very crispy. It was still good, but not great.
