I had a lunch break and this business was right next door! I was wanting lumpia and that's what I got! I also got barbecued chicken skewers which came with some white rice and a sauce that was ok with everything together. The chicken itself was cooked perfectly. You know everything these days is really expensive and in trying to keep our heads above water eating out is now a splurge so we don't do it often anymore. Today I felt like a treat and Filipino food was the craving. I placed an order through Grubhub for ka're ka're and lechon kawali. What we got was ka're ka're that tasted like the bottom of the pot burned and they tried to fix it by adding water and mixing. No flavor but burned food. And the lechon was so overcooked and dark like it had been sitting under the heat lamp for hours. The meat was so hard you could chop a tooth in it. Shame on you for selling food with no quality. A go-to! Solid Filipino food in Vegas. Can't go wrong with ordering the Sizzling Pork Sisig, Adobong Pusit, or the Binagoongan Fried Rice! This visit, we ordered 2 of the lunch specials: the first with Dinuguan and Menudo and the other with Lechon kawali and kare kare. I personally would have loved a plate with kare kare and Menudo -- I just happened to like those specific two the most. All entree options were good though! Nothing ruins a meal for me like dry rice. I grew up eating dry rice so I've come to the conclusion that most Filipinos prefer their rice cooked this way. Now to the Ulam, kare kare did not have enough sauce, they also gave us a tiny little container of bagoong. Bulalo was just ok, palabok very bland, bistek was too salty, lumpiang Shanghai was good but the star of the show was the lechon kawali, if I ever crave it I would definitely get it from here, to go of course so that I can have my rice the way I like. read more

So, my husband and I was craving some crispy pata. Husband called and specifically asked and the person on the phone said yes they do have it but when we got there, she said they don't have anymore. Then we tried to order some pinakbet, and she told us they only have limited vegetables for that order. Then we ordered sisig and Shanghai lumpia. That they had. During our Vegas trip, my family and I were craving Filipino food, and this restaurant definitely hit the spot. Usually, my grandparents heavily judge Filipino restaurants because they "can make the dishes better at home," but this place was pretty solid for them. The restaurant is mid-sized but very popular among locals. Luckily, we arrived just in time before the lunch rush kicked in. By the time we were seated, there was a long wait. Parking is also very accessible because the restaurant is centrally located in a large plaza. We ordered the Kapamilya Package, which is a kamayan offering. In it, we ordered fried tilapia, crispy pata, pork sisig, and lumpia. Everything in the Kapamilya Package was delicious, especially the crispy pata. Everything seemed freshly prepared and cooked - definitely a great option for 4-6 people. We also ordered kare kare and sinigang. The sinigang was just as sour as I usually make it. The kare kare was actually pretty good, even though I'm never a fan of kare kare. Despite ordering so much food, the servers and cooks actually gave us our food rather quickly. My family and I tried so many dishes such as the crispy pata, beef sinigang, fresh lumpia, sizzling pork sisig, and chicharon bulaklak but the star of the night was the binagoongan fried rice. Wow! We liked it so much that we ordered it for our family reunion the next day! One dish I was really looking forward to but was very disappointed with was the beef sinigang. It was way too sour, and not enough soup for all the ingredients inside. It was still good though but the soup just tasted very concentrated. Thank you D'Pinoy for making us feel at home! It was huge and according to their menu it can feed up to 4-6 people! It was $85.99, which I think is a great price! In our platter we chose to get crispy pata, pork sisig, eggplant salad, shang hai, pancit, fried salt and pepper shrimp and a bowl of rice! This platter was delicious! It had a little bit of everything, which was great! It was like we ate at a Filipino party because of the variety! There is a lot of items on the menu where you can choose the dishes, which was so hard to choose because everything looked and sounded yummy. We also shared a halo halo! I have been here a few times, but never reviewed this restaurant. We got here right when it opened around 10:30 AM. I have been here in the past around 12 PM and you can barely get a table so I would recommend coming early to try this place. I had the fried bangus with garlic fried rice. We also ordered a Talong salad but it was not that good. You only get one eggplant and they put a mango salsa on top which did not go together. Their bagoong is sweet. Which I did not like. To me it should be salty, not salty and sweet. The vinegar dipping sauce was also sweet, but after we asked for plain vinegar, the waitress brought it to us. I remember eating here before and I got the lechon Kawali , which was. Delicious. This is one of the better Filipino restaurants in Vegas. The ambience is very casual. We came during dinner time and ordered their Lechon Kawali and a bowl of Garlic Rice. We also got the Pancit Palabok. Everything was okay, portions were generous, between hubby and I we couldn't finish. The lechon kawali was not cooked to perfection... it was golden and crunchy on the outside, not so moist and flavorful on the inside. Also, I wished they cut them in smaller pieces. It came with Mang Tomas dipping sauce and it made it taste good except some parts of the meat were a little tough. The pancit palabok is hubby's favorite... for those not familiar this Filipino noodle dish is topped with shrimp gravy, shrimp, smoked fish flakes, pork cracklings, and eggs. Hearty and savory! The menu offered a lot of classic dishes and the challenging part is deciding what to order... We decided to eat here before heading back to CA, and this was the closest to where we were staying. There are plenty of tables to choose from, or they can seat you. It depends. Some reviews are right about staff being loud. Staff needs to learn customer service. We ordered canton, pork sisig, garlic rice, and sinigang salmon belly. Canton - it's good! It's surprisingly delicious. Serving is good dor 2-3 people. I wish they came with calamansi instead of lime. (See photo) Pork sisig - it's good, then turned horrible. I wish they used thai chili or labuyo, but it's personal preference. The bottom pork of the sizzling plate was burnt. We weren't able to enjoy the sisig as we could taste the bitterness of the pork. (See photo). Garlic rice - it's rice with garlic bits on top. Expensive but what can we do? Rice is life. (See photo). Sinigang salmon belly - this is how I want the sourness of the sinigang! But if you're not into too sour, you might not like it. Plenty of salmon belly, with veggies like labanos and eggplant. We love the dish. It came out hot, too! We got hot coffee, too.
