Devouring empanadas in one sitting lol
Jami S.

I love Casa de Empanadas. Every time we visit Las Vegas, it's a must-stop for us. Even my 3-year-old asks if we're going there when she finds out we're heading to Vegas -- that's how you know it's good! The Turon Ube empanada is the bombbbb. Sweet, crispy, and so good. And the Chicken Mushroom empanada is hands down the best savory one! We've tried pretty much all the flavors (yes, we went for it ), but those two are our absolute favorites. Their coffee is really good too, which makes it the perfect little stop for a snack and caffeine break. We'll definitely keep coming back every time we're in Vegas! Clean shop and fantastic service too!

Hot momma! I'm so glad that Casa de Empanada has their first brick and mortar so close to my house. I actually used to come to this location all the time for the pizza place that used to be here. I'm glad they moved a few blocks away so that Casa de Empanada could slide right in. It's a tiny place and if you want to dine in here, there are a few tiny high top tables with stools inside and 2 four top tables outside. The tiny tables inside are super cute, with condiments underneath. It sounds awful (and for someone who weighs a bit more, like myself, I was worried) but it's pretty comfortable and I didn't mind the seating. There is no restroom here, so don't expect it to be like a sit down restaurant. The people working here are super nice and friendly. They want to make sure you are having a great time and enjoying their food. But I'm not surprised by that because I understand Filipino hospitality, growing up with it like I did. The service was pretty fast but also pretty slow. Our drinks came out super quick and our breakfast came out in a reasonable time but our take home empanadas (which we ordered everything at the same time) took a very long time. I'm not mad about it though, it's because you can order every flavor and they will make it for you, so it takes time. I didn't realize this and thought I had to order what was available but those got taken by earlier orders so they had to make some of ours, hence the long wait. But was the wait worth it? Abso-freaking-lutely!!! First, the coffee drinks are fire and I want to now try every flavor on the menu. The tapsilog and the longsilog were amazing. I don't normally eat pork but wanted to try their house made longonisa. Worth it!! The garlic rice was yummy. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The atchara might be some of the best I've ever had. SO GOOD!!! Then... the empanadas? Every flavor we tried was good and I cannot wait to go back and try more. Do not sleep on this place. Eat here!!!!!!!

I love empanadas and saw this place was close to my work. They have a ton of different options including baked, fried, and sweet (only Saturday and Sundays). I ordered three empanadas and it comes with a free drink so I also got the calamansi juice. I ordered the baked chicken mushroom, chicken Philly, and the Filipina in me got the diniguan. I'm not a big fan of peas so the chicken mushroom was not my favorite but it was still good. The chicken philly was delicious though and the diniguan was also very good, very vinegary. The crust was delicious, not too sweet like some Filipino empanadas are and no raisins in the ones I got either (which I was happy about). The inside of the place is small, only having a few high tops and stools but they're pretty close to the counter so it can feel confined when ordering when there are people sitting. But the service was great. It does take a few minutes to get the empanadas heated up but worth it. The packaging is also super cute. They also have other food items besides empanadas. Can't wait to go again to try different ones!

I've been wanting to try this spot for a while now and boy it did not disappoint. It's a small little hole in the wall off Tropicana that could easily be overlooked. Service was great - you pick which empanadas you want from the glass display and pay at the end. Super quick and easy. You even get a free refreshing drink with a 3 empanada combo. Some of the most unique flavor profiles I've had offered in an empanada- and all done very well. Coffees were okay- out of all the amazing coffee spots out here in vegas - I'd stick to just the empanadas next time but had to try. Highly recommend!!

A barista friend told me about this new-ish east side spot, and I was able to swing by one morning over the holiday break from work. The logo and signage are cute, menu is larger than expected with several empanadas (baked and fried options), a case of pastries, and some heartier entrees/plates, plus a drink menu. I came in just planning to get a coffee but the display case swayed me to grab an empanada as well. I got the calamansi cold brew and the beef, onion, and cheese empanada. The owner cautioned me about the drink - it is a unique flavor combination with sour citrus and bitter coffee, but they combine nicely and balance out. This isn't a drink everyone will like though, the warning was appreciated. In the future, I'd probably get their ube latte. The empanda was great - snack size, warm, with a tasty filling. I like how they use (and specify) Velveeta for certain fillings, as it's what I grew up with in Tex-mex queso and mac and cheese, but I know some people aren't a fan. The owner said this empanada flavor was his personal favorite, so I think I ordered well. I am not typically in this area so I am not sure when I am likely to be back, but it's a great addition to the area. They have a good variety on the food and drink menu, and seem to have a good local following. Stop by if you are in the area!

This place is amazing! Everything housemade with love! The owner was very nice and shared his story with us and how the food is made. The empanadas are to die for. The best Filipino empanadas I've ever eaten. The dough is flaky and rich. They all have ample filling inside. My favorite was the beef filled ones...especially the one with cheese and onion and beef. It tasted like a yummy cheeseburger pie. We also ordered their plates with crispy pork belly and the combo with beef and longanisa. So delicious! We will be back on weekends to try the sweet empanadas with ube and banana! Don't forget to add a refresher with your meal!

LONGSILOG

We arrived about noon. Parking is good. The place was small. Not very wide so it fits maybe 10 people in line but its tight. If the empanada you want is not in the case. It will take 20 minutes for baked and I thought they said fried empanadas take said 7 to 10 minutes. I I ordered the longsilog plate. I was expecting a sweet longanisa that is typically served but this was a homemade sausage snd no sweetness at all. It was good just not what I was expecting. The rice was so tasty and eggs were cooked to perfection. The sauces for dipping went well with the longanisa. I also ordered 2 sweet empanadas: ube langka and nutella. I really enjoyed the ube langka. The nutella in thr empanada did not taste like nutella. It tasted like chocolate syrup. I definitely would go back to try other plates and empanadas! My sister got the chicharron pork belly plate and chicken mushroom empanada. She loved both!

We tried Casa de Empanada for lunch (12/13/25). Items tried and liked (so far): Chicksilog Chicharon Pork Belly Chicken Mushroom Empanada (baked) Spinach and Ricotta Empanada (baked) Roasted Pork Empanada Calamansi Juice Everything was masarap! I like that they offer chicken and baked options. There were 3 of us, we ended up with half leftover that we ate for dinner :) Excellent service. The owner is very nice and personable. Interior is cute and clean. There are a couple of small tables inside and 2 tables outside enough to fit 8 people in total. Parking is plentiful but can get busy depending on the time of day. Highly recommend. I hope you decide to check them out :)

This empanada spot is a definitely a little diamond hiding in this little plaza. The overall empanada shop is a small space, but it has the cozy charm of a traditional neighborhood bakery. Even though it feels more like a grab and go place than a full restaurant, they've done a clever job making room for dine-in seating. One of my favorite details was the tables. Each one has a center pole with a built-in holder for sauces and even hand sanitizer. It's a small touch, but it's smart design that keeps everything within reach while maximizing space so the tables don't feel cluttered. The pricing is very fair, especially if you order multiple empanadas, which is honestly hard not to do once you see the menu. They offer a huge variety of both sweet and savory options. I ended up ordering a dozen to share with friends, and not a single one disappointed. Every flavor we tried was fantastic. Safe to say I'll absolutely be back for more!

I don't know how in the world this place only had 62 reviews but not enough people have come here. Casa de empanada gives me a hole in the wall Type feel in the best way possible. The customer service is super friendly but genuine, you can tell that they really want to talk to you. We got a lot of food so much so that we had leftovers. The empanadas were all fantas but the beef onion and cheese was 100 percent my favorite. The plates we got were also amazing. The meat was tender and super flavorful, the garlic rice was delicious and the runny eggs were perfectly cooked. I will most definitely return, and I can't wait to try the pork belly

Hands down one of the most authentic spots around. The calamansi juice alone is worth the visit, but the empanadas are the real star. Get the Laing spinach & pork, it's packed with flavor and unlike anything else on the menu. If you miss the taste of the Philippines, this is your place.

Longsilog

Showed up at opening time on a Saturday! Unfortunately, they weren't quite ready, so they opened doors a little late and took a minute to fully prepare. However, they had a positive attitude, and the food was quite delicious: Adobo empanada - perfect ratio of filling to dough. It is pretty small but tasty. Longsilog with rice, eggs, vinegar, and pickled papaya - I'm impressed that they make the longsilog from scratch, so it's not the style we Filipinos are used to when we buy it at the store. However, it's still yummy! I would order all of this again. Next time I'll try different empanada flavors. Note that the location is small. There are a few high top tables with a couple chairs each, but know that the surface area is limited. You're better off ordering for take-out.

Sooo glad this gem popped up on my Yelp! Just 5 mins from my house, delicious, handmade empanadas were here this whole time? Located on Tropicana/Pecos in the same plaza as the Burger King. Super easy to find on maps, plenty of parking. When you walk in you see it's a quaint shop with 3-4 tables fit for 2 people each. It's super easy to order, they have all the flavors of empanadas and also some Filipino desserts in a glass case. Once you order, they heat all the empanadas for you so theyre hot and fresh. They had about 15 different flavors. We went with the 6 pack for about $25. Sooo worth! Seems expensive at first, but they're a good size, well-filled, and again, they're handmade. It seems like a small mom/pop shop, and it's just so worth it to support your local small businesses :) We got the chicken Philly, carne Norte, butter chicken, pork asado, spinach and ricotta, and spinach and artichoke. We also got the Ube Spanish latte and macapuni mocha latte! They use dark moon roasters, so the coffee is strong and just as good as a coffee shop tbh. The only thing is that they were very sweet. I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!!

On Sunday, we said our GOOD-BYES and it was decided we'd seek Filipino cuisine. Jocelyn checked her phone and came up with a restaurant, "FULL HOUSE." So there we went and we had a great dinner. As we walked in, a voice was heard: "WELCOME!" ... choose a table!" We did and in no time, A young man (Zeus) came to us with menus and said we could call him when ready! Well, between Tastic, Neil and Jocelyn, the menu items were selected, and Eros took our order. It was very long before the items began being served to us and we began our mini feast. The restaurant is not very big but it is great. The service is top notch as the Waiters and cooks were very timely. Situated in the "SILVERADO RANCH CENTER", parking is plentiful and the entire area is very nice. When in Vegas, go enjoy what the FULL HOUSE offers and tell Eros & his fraternal brother (Zeus): "PELOS PARADOS sent us!"

We only got a cup of it but I'd totally get more. Very garlic forward with fried bits and it wasn't overly oily like Java rice I'm used to. Their regular order of pork lumpia comes in a Jeepney container but only has four pieces so I ordered the app sampler instead. It arrives with a trio of sauces: aioli, soy vinegar, sweet n sour. Kare kare (oxtail peanut stew) was solid. Delicious with steamed rice. Doesn't overly taste like straight up peanut butter. Grilled fish had all the essence of classic vinegar with extra on the side. Parents liked this. Bitter melon beef was on the salty side. Had to get those greens in. Halo Halo! They shape some shaved ice, ladle on all the sweet beans, jellies, coconut gel (my fave!), jackfruit, sweet corn, etc. before drizzling on condensed and evaporated milks, topping it with ube ice cream, then the square of leche flan with sugar torched to perfection! Can't forget about the crisp pinipig rice which they dye green. Pour on the side of extra evaporated milk after the flame dies down. Big enough for four people to share! We arrived hungry and left happy! Thank you so much to Full House BBQ for this taste of home in Vegas.

The tripe was well-prepared, tender, and didn't overpower the dish at all. The pork sisig was done the traditional way--nice and crispy with lots of porky bits, topped with a fried egg, and served sizzling. The slight heat from the sili gave it just the right kick. We also ordered a sago't gulaman, which came with red gulaman since they were out of the black. Still, it was refreshing and paired really well with the meal.
