It was my 1st time trying Argentinian pizza and empanadas. Learned that fugazzeta is a stuffed pizza where two pizza crusts are sandwiched around cheese before being crimped shut and topped with caramelized sliced onions on top. So cheesy and perfect for cheese pull! Loved the beef empanada. Primavera is also a must try. Not a veggie eater most of the time but I enjoyed it! So fresh The owners are nice and will continue to support! I got a lot of videos but can't upload videos on yelp lately only pics. Did they change that??

Why does this place not have a line out the door?! Stumbled upon this place after a long day of car shopping. Located in the middle of where all the car dealerships are on Sahara. Omg this place is legit. Cute mom and pop place that serves great pizza, chicken wings AND empanadas. They have other stuff on the menu but that just happens to be the stuff we had the chance of getting. Everything was delicious. My beef empanada with the eggs and olives paired really well with their house chimichurri. Do yourselves a favor and pls support this amazing small business. Wish they were closer to our side of town. We would be here every chance we get.

If you want to try a real authentic Argentinian food then you have to visit Fugazzeta and try the best empanadas in Las Vegas. This family owned restaurant is located on W Sahara / Jones inside the large shopping plaza. There is specious amount of parking available. The restaurant is very clean and spacious, plenty of tables to sit and enjoy delicious empanadas. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, very passionate about their restaurant and the chef is from Argentina . The ambiance is very pleasant and homey feeling serving delicious authentic Argentinian dishes. The food is mouth watering, so fresh and delicious. Hands down the best empanadas in town, handmade and baked fresh daily. And you can tell that they are home made Empanadas!!! They are very filling and the portions are huge. All of the Empanadas had on the side initials such as CP or MU to tell you which Empanada is what flavor ( very cool ) ! Our favorite are: classic chicken and mushroom empanadas. But honestly it's very hard to choose which one is the best, because they are all so good and yummy!!! They have perfect crunch and fresh filling and also they offer vegetarian options too. We have also tried their specialty pizza and Milanesa Napolitana ( huge portion) and very filling. So delicious and made with fresh and quality ingredients. Overall: amazing small family owned and operated business that bakes the best empanadas in town while providing excellent customer service . We highly recommend this true authentic Argentinian restaurant !!!

Parking is plentiful. I hope you decide to check them out :)

I was craving Empanadas on a Friday evening. Looking through Yelp for new restaurants in Las Vegas, I had stumbled upon Fugazzeta Pizza & Empanadas. I wasn't sure what Fugazzeta was, so I looked it up online and found out that it is a popular Argentinian style pizza smothered in onions, topped with olive oil, salt, and mozzarella cheese. My husband and I decided to stop by at around 4:00 P.M on a Friday afternoon. Fugazzeta Pizza & Empanadas is located on Sahara/Jones inside a large shopping plaza. There is spacious amount of parking available. As we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by all of the team members at Fugazzeta Pizza & Empanadas! This restaurant is amazing and the service is outstanding! It's a family owned restaurant. There were plenty of tables to choose from. Looking over the menu, it was so hard to choose which Empanadas to try!! We ended up picking out the following Empanadas: ($3.25 each) Shredded Flap Steak (EN) Braised flap steak, spices and provolone Carne Saltena (CN) Hand cut beef, onions, potatoes Beef of 10 (10) Ground Beef, chopped boiled eggs, chopped green olives Spicy Beef (CP) Ground Beef, Onion, Carrots, and Hot Spices. Ham + Cheese (IQ) Sliced ham + Mozzarella Spinach (SP) Blanched spinach, mozzarella provolone, béchamel The team at Fugazzeta Pizza & Empanadas also recommended one of their pizzas, the Argentina which consisted of Cheese, Ham, and Roasted Peppers. The empanadas were so scrumptious! It was quite filling. I was full after eating only one of them! All of the Empanadas had on the side initials such as CP, or IQ to tell you which Empanada is what flavor. You could tell, these were home made Empanadas! Our favorite was the shredded flap steak empanada! The chimichurri sauce provided makes the empanadas even better! The pizza was delicious! This was my first time having a Argentinian pizza before and I would definitely go back! The crust flavor was unique and the ingredients blended well together! The price was inexpensive considering all of the food we ordered, less than $40.00! We had plenty of left overs. The Pizza warmed up well the next day in the oven and air fryer! I'd highly recommend stopping by this restaurant.

Let me start with, you know when you had a great meal that you need a nap. Thank you chef, for making my pizza. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. I ordered the 16" supreme pizza. It smelled and looked terrific. The taste was on point. Crust is perfect, not too thin and not too thick, just the right amount. The amount of vegetables on this pizza was perfect. I loved how the edges were burnt enough that it also crunched. I extremely loved that it had artichokes. I only could finish half of it. . Saving the other half for dinner. I also ordered 2 empanadas - ham & cheese / chicken bechamel. Amazing. I'll be back to try the rest of the menu The ambiance is so relaxed. A place to take your time to play a little pool and enjoy watching a game. Their staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Thank you. Please come and enjoy their food.

Classic Fugazzeta - Sauceless Pan Crust with Sauteed Onions, Ham and adde Pepperoni

My dad would always dress up when traveling to Buenos Aires, it's one of those cities that have such rich culture, and flavor. When I saw a new Argentinian restaurant open, I was excited, when I saw what they served, overjoyed! Like heading down a bookstore laden street in Buenos Aires (Fun Fact: Buenos Aires has the most bookstores or any city) and stopping for lunch or dinner at a street cafe, where they serve pizza and empanadas, joy! The pizza is unique, the Fugazzeta is a combination of a pizza Napolitana and focaccia bread (bread made with onions). The sauce is light or none, with the crust and onions/cheese providing the flavor. It's has a fresh Mediterranean taste with the oregano and spread toppings. We tried the beef empanadas and the Carne Saltena empanadas, the former made just like my mom makes them with olives and egg, delicious. The carne Saltena is Argentinian chopped meat with potatoes, with slight gravy notes, like a British paddy (I mentioned the British in an Argentinian restaurant review! Sign of the Cross and say Malvinas Argentinas 3 times, that was close) The empanadas rock. We also tried the classic Fugazzeta with pan crust no sauce. Man, sprinkled with Chimichurri and eat like a king. The onions, the ham, and the cheese on top of that flaky crust, yum. To try the thin crust, we got a small Calabrian, try this one if you don't like so much crust and like a bit more sauce. You can also make your own so have at it. This is definitely on the top places I recommend for trying something new. The staff is tops too, when the driver picked up the wrong order, the manager was one the phone with me immediately and fixed the issue. Awesome customer service.

Love coming here with the family every time I visit. Delicious Argentine pizza. Wonderful small family business. They are always so sweet and provide amazing service.

Haven't tried this family-owned Argentinian restaurant? What's wrong with you? Get crazy and try one of everything. The empanadas, Sandwich de Napolitana, and Fugazzeta are must-haves. Betty will make you feel like part of the family - in a good way! This is our go-to Argentinian restaurant in town.

5 types of Argentinian empanadas

We tried at least 5 Different types of Argentinian empanadas, with chimichurri dipping sauce and hot sauce at this place called "Fugazzeta" Empanadas & Pizzas. The place is small, clean and cozy. The ladies greet you enthusiastically as soon as you come in the restaurant. The service is great. Those empanadas are the bomb! I'll try their pizzas next time. I recommend this place. Yummy!

I stumbled upon this place while hungry after going to the dentist (same plaza). So glad that I did! Great selection, quality, value, and taste! I got 6 empanadas to share with my husband - baked because I was picking it up to go for us to eat 2 hours later. Still warm and delicious! The chicken #1 and spicy beef was my favorite, while my husband loved the same chicken one and the shredded flap steak. We will be back!

So I was happy to find this place. , Dined in around 2p, so restaurant had a couple of other diners, and server set us immediately and was able to answer a few question before we ordered. Decided to get the bowls which included, rice, protein and a side.. of course we got the Puerto Rican rice, roast pork and fried pork, and plantains. I wanted tostones, but unfortunately it was not available and then I found out the sad news after I asked if they didn't have plantains. I was told that the owner planned to close up shop on Sunday Sept 21. How sad! Decided to then order rellenos papa's and some.mofongo, as I would not get another chance unless I go daily the next 4 days. Everything was good as I remembered. I'm hoping the owner will be able to find another space. It's a cute little dining area. Lots of takeout orders and more diners came in for later lunch, I wonder if they know the place eas closing.

I always pop into this restaurant to eat when I'm in town, and I always seem to order the same thing... I ordered the pernil, which is roasted pork, arroz con gandules, potato salad, and trifongo. The roasted pork was so tender and delicious. I got some of the dark meat pieces, which are my favorite. The trifongo definitely wins the taste test. Trifongo is a Puerto. Rican dish made with green and sweet plantains and mashed together with pieces of fried pork and Chicharrón. My food was so delicious and yummy. I had to leave some of it on my plate, so I wouldn't go into a food coma. As always, the service there is on point and friendly. The host and server does not miss an opportunity to make sure to check up on you and provide water, or whatever beverage you're drinking. They're very sweet and run a pretty efficient shop. The cooks really I did themselves this time! The restaurant is always cleaned... The wait staff is always on top of cleaning the tables, and making sure everything is orderly. The bathroom is also clean. The restaurant has an open kitchen concept, so you can see the cooks in the back, preparing the dishes, including mashing up the plantains to make the trifongo. If you are in town, you must try this place. I recommend the roasted pork and the fried chicken. Of course, if you're looking for something on the smaller side, you can try the trifongo. Be patient though, if they are particularly busy, you may have to wait, and they may be out of some things. Over the years, I've learned to ask what they ran out of. Enjoy!
