Cute little coffee shop. Fresh empanadas. Apple and cotijo was definitely the best. Not too sweet, apples that were not overcooked. Berry is a close second, a very nice jam filling. The guava and queso, I didn't finish, this isn't to say it was bad, just not to my liking. The dough consistency gives the impression that it is hand made, very good. The tiramisu latte was great with a small lady finger that was delicate and flaky. The staff were all busy in their roles and get your food to you as quickly as possible. Quiet enough spot to stay and enjoy your food without feeling rushed out the door.
Before heading out of Las Vegas, I needed to grab some coffee before the road. I found Take It Easy and went there at around 9:00 am. I wished I could have went here at another time since it had a good vibe. There was a lot of table seating inside and a small patio area outside. I decided to get an espresso fizz from their menu. It took a few minutes to get ready. It was worth all the wait since it was good and refreshing. I'd come back if I was in the area to "take it easy" and stay longer next time. American Express is accepted here.
Came across this Hidden gem in china town! It has indoor and outdoor seating. Inside there is a few tables and bar high chairs as well. Went on a Saturday and it was very busy! Most of the pastries were gone by 11:30am. I tried their tiramisu latte which was really good I definitely want to go back and try more of their items.
Food was really good and we ordered the short rib, chicken, and shrimp empanada. We also ordered a tiramisu latte and a chai latte. I really enjoyed how fresh the empanadas were and honestly they were amazing. The reason for four stars is because my friend who had ordered the chai latte quite literally just got milk She went back to ask for more chai and it was the tiniest dot of chai lol. Also the ordering and service overall is pretty slow so I wouldn't recommend if you're in a rush. Interior was super nice and plenty of seats and outlets.
Come on baby, don't say maybe... to this spot. Take It Easy Roasters is a quiet little coffee shop by the folks behind the local Makers & Finders chain. It's located on Wynn Rd not far off Spring Mountain, and parking shouldn't be too bad on the Spring Mountain-facing lot since business hours here are morning through afternoon. I decided to try the Nitro Cold Brew ($6.00) for the drink. They served it in a nice stemless glass after I specified dine-in. It was probably a medium roast and felt more challenging than I expected since there were a lot of fruity/acidic notes going on. But it was definitely proper nitro judging from the bubbles, and it came out low in bitterness. The Frank's Pop Tart ($6.50) was really what made my day. The flavor of the day was guava and cream cheese, and it's some of the most prominent guava and cream cheese flavor I've had in some time. The pastry dough was flaky and actually more crumbly than I've had from other renditions, but in a good way rather than a cheap mass-market rendition. The shredded coconut on top also complemented the filling. Overall, it helped balance out the nitro cold brew surprisingly well. I enjoyed the atmosphere a lot. Their playlist was a lot of alternative rock but from the more mellow end of the spectrum and played at a volume to encourage more quiet conversation, or at least so I'd imagine if there were actually groups of customers present. I was intrigued by seeing that espresso and frother machines were built into the same counter which they let you sit at, and have a minimal presence almost; I'll probably order something else next time to watch those in action. Take It Easy has awesome vibes and at least one really great product. I'll definitely keep them in mind for visits to Spring Mountain and check out more of the menu next time.
This matcha revived me after day one of EDC. Barista was super cool and gave me some good recs
Stopped by on a Saturday morning and like other reviews have stated, parking is confusing. We initially tried to park by the shop but wasn't sure if we could park there. We ended up parking in front of Moignet and it was a short walk to the cafe. The music and ambiance is relaxing. We ordered a cold brew, house filtered coffee, tiramisu latte and apple & cajeta empenada. Overall we enjoyed everything. The filtered house coffee is bottomless so that was a nice touch. They have a good variety of pastries to choose from.
My husband and I tried 4 different matcha drinks and they were all tasty. I preferred the basic matcha latte over the sticky mango rice drink.
Beautiful spot! Got a pistachio cold brew and it's my first time seeing such a thing. Wonderful open concept bakery, coffees you've never heard of, and quick careful service. I recommend sitting at the bar and watching them make their magic!
Found this gem by chance! This place is amazing! They make super fresh and delicious empanadas, and they stamp each empanada to tell you what's inside. We tried them all but I highly recommend the shrimp and chicken. The service is great, you can sit at the bar and watch them make the empanadas. Super clean and just refreshing to see that going on. I also tried the matcha latte which was so good oh man, I need to go back soon! Love this place! Beautiful place. Pretty easy to find, it's south of the Baby stacks cafe.
One of our favorite coffee shops in Las Vegas! It's a small little place down a side road in China Town.. we usually park up in the front of the plaza (spring mountain, plaza with Golden Tiki) and walk down. There's counter seating for 7-8 people, 4-5 tables inside and a small patio with additional seating. The baristas are always friendly and helpful. We ordered 2 filter coffees (free refills) and a second chance (day old) cookies & cream cinnamon roll (only $3.50!)... and after they heated it for us I couldn't tell it was a day old. As always the coffee was fantastic (they roast their beans on site) and the service was stellar.
I enjoy trying coffee straight from the roasters to taste the freshness and unique flavor profile. So I went to Take It Easy Roasters. I planned on trying a cup of coffee but ended up getting their Mi Horchata Latte and iced. First sip and right away I was like, "this is really good". I can taste the rice milk and the espresso was very good. Again, the freshness of the grind. I recommend going and taking it easy inside their small but cozy shop. They have seating outside their quaint little patio. The customer service was fine. I'm definitely returning.
Take it Easy is a little hidden gem coffee shop located in Chinatown. If you blink you will miss it, since there isn't street signage. Its located next to Win Spa. They have a little patio area to enjoy the outdoors and inside a few tables for maybe 8 total ppl. Love that they roast their own beans and make fresh pastries daily. Looks like they sell day old pastries for 50% off. But we didn't get to try and this time. Instead we ordered a Iced s'mores latte and a decaf Mango Mochi latte. The latter normally comes with matcha but I opted for a shot of decaf espresso. Service was friendly. I liked that the lattes weren't overly sweet, but the flavors of the drinks could have been stronger, closer to their descriptions. Also disappointed that the s'mores latte did not come with torched marshmallow creme cloud top like the description stated.
Take It Easy Roasters is an easy 5 stars and a fantastic little coffee-date spot in Vegas. The location is quaint, cute, and relaxed, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming from the second we walked in. My only beef is the limited dairy-free options and no fat-free milk. BUT, to quote one of my favorite influencers, Gabbi, "life's about balance," so balance it was. I allowed myself the iced salted caramel mocha, and I regret absolutely nothing. Delicious, rich, and worth every calorie. My girlfriend got the chai, which came out looking damn near too pretty to drink, and she reported that it was completely on point and tasted every bit as good as it looked. And then there are the breakfast empanadas. Sadly, no picture because apparently we chose violence and ate them immediately. They're made fresh to order, served hot, and absolutely delicious. Do not skip them. Great coffee, great food, super-friendly people, and a cozy atmosphere that makes it perfect for a coffee date. We'll absolutely be back. read more
What a perfect name for a coffee shop. Met a girlfriend here recently, and honestly, this spot wasn't even on my radar. It's a little tricky to find since it's not directly on Spring Mountain, but if you come down Wynn Rd you'll see it tucked along the side of the busy plaza that also houses The Golden Tiki. Inside, it's adorable. We were greeted by a girl with a gorgeous smile, and the entire place had good energy. I ordered a raspberry matcha latte while my friend went for the tiramisu latte. Both were fantastic - hers leaned more toward dessert, while mine was refreshing, bright, and beautifully balanced. There's bar seating, indoor tables, and a few spots outside. Before I even walked out, I was already planning my next visit. Their food menu is calling, especially the empanadas and Colombian pastries they're known for. I'll be back soon. Shoutout to my girl Sukie for putting me on to this place! read more
I've been meaning to come here! Only reason I haven't is because of its location. It's in a Chinatown plaza and I was confused on where to park. I didn't realize until after that I parked in a spot that said "do not park" - oops! Upon entering, it smelled like delicious food! I knew they served empanadas since they're owned by Makers & Finders (whose coffee I also like). While I didn't order coffee or food, I did order their Mango Sticky Rice Matcha and oh my goodness! Delicious! It's hard to come by a place that serves real mango in their drinks. It's also now that sweet (which I like). The place is a bit tiny, but nonetheless good. My drink came out super fast and delicious! Please serve this matcha drink at M&F too! read more

One of my favorite local coffee spots in Vegas hidden away in Chinatown ! I usually go with the americano , but decided to go with a basic drip (free refills) today. Umm... dare I saw a hidden gem??? Cuz it certainly was for me. Came here on Tuesday afternoon. It's off a small cross on spring mountain in Chinatown. I tried the honey latte with a pistachio croissant. Latte was rich in coffee and cream flavors and just the right amount of sweetness (not too sweet). You can tell it was a gourmet cup of coffee. The croissant was stuffed with pistachio cream with perfect amount of sweet and creaminess. What a treat. The 2 items came out to just $14. LOVE the interior decor with sloths representing their "take it easy" theme. They roast their own beans right in the shop too. Baristas were friendly and I enjoyed watching them at work. Great coffee shop! read more

Food Quality: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Value: 5/5 This is easily my favorite coffee shop in town. Take it Easy Roasters is nestled in the heart of Chinatown and I'm so glad I ran across this place! They have the cutest storefront and the most incredible espresso machine setup! We came here to grab a quick snack and coffee break and got the Ch-ube latte, Hoji-Thai latte , burnt suga, and the pumpkin cream cheese tart. Watching the drinks being made explains everything - you can tell the baristas take pride in their craft and they made the most perfect drinks I've ever tasted. I seriously can't wait to go back to Vegas just for this! The staff was also very welcoming and nice and the cafe was very well kept. Can't wait to try more of the menu! read more
Take it easy and enjoy your time here! A hidden gem for coffee and baked goods in china town! This spot has been opened for 5 years already and is a great spot for pour overs, speciality drinks, and baked goods. Did I mention they have a roaster here? The service was pretty decent as the cashier was also the barista. I can see how service can be slow if it gets crowded. Columbia Pour over (4/5) Good extraction for a lighter roast. Barista was vigorously pouring over in circles more than what I do at home. Banana Bread (5/5) So flavorful and moist! Cinnamon Roll (3/5) I'm not sure this was a bit stale or sitting out longer, but it was a bit drier than I liked. Great raisins and pecan texture! I would definitely return and try out the empanadas next time read more
Really great, relaxing spot that doesn't feel like it's in the the busiest strip mall in Chinatown. Location is a little confusing at first: The business faces Wynn road and is part of the large, long strip mall on Spring Mountain. I parked behind the business (S of Spring Mountain on Wynn) on a weekend and it was easy. Location aside, this place is wonderful. 9 seats at the bar 5 tables with 2 seats each - decidedly smaller than a Starbucks, but also much, much better. Chill music, very inventive drinks and pastries, a full in-house bakery, and their own coffee roaster? The spot is somehow both home-y and classy at the same time and well equipped. The team here is wonderful. Super friendly people who work hard and have a great teamwork vibe. Between the happy people working, the chill music, and the great food options, this is a wonderful local coffee shop that actually delivers! read more

even though the drinks took a LONG time, when it wasn't even busy, they were hella good the mango sticky rice matcha wasn't too sweet and my americano wasn't bitter. what was the downfall of this place is that we got 2 vegan breakfast empanadas and they were extremely disappointing. they were pretty much hollow and tasteless like there's no way it had everything they stated it had. felt like i was just eating the dough so for $12 it was a huge ripoff read more

Take It Easy is such a charming neighborhood café. It's a great place to grab a drink and a quick bite. I got the matcha latte with white chocolate and vanilla. The only small note is that it leaned a little heavy on the oat milk for my taste, so I ended up adding an extra shot of matcha to bring the strength up. Once I did that, it hit the spot. Their empanadas are always a win and one of the reasons I keep coming back. And the banana bread deserves a mention too, it's so good. The only downside is that parking can be a little tricky. read more
Hidden gem coffee shop in vegas! The location of the place is not very noticeable. The interior is small and cozy with like 3-4 small tables and bar seats available. They have a decent selection of pastries and coffee. Got a tiramisu latte, caffe late, ham/cheese croissant, and pistachio croissant. The croissants were huge and I thought they were very filling. I love savory pastry so the ham/cheese croissant hit the spot. The pistachio croissant was flakey and it had pistachios filling inside which I really enjoyed. read more
The inside is nice and cute. It's pretty small but they have maybe 4 couples tables on the inside along with a bar and more tables on the outside as a cute little patio. The empanadas were delicious 10/10 I got a hazelnut latte, id rate it a 7.5 out of 10 Service was okay. Parking was confusing, the main parking lot was very crowded. And I didnt know you can park on the sides of the buildings. read more

Take It Easy hands down impressed me! I don't think I would've have known it was just from driving by. But it is tucked in Chinatown like the precious gem it is. Walking up, it has cute cafe seating outdoors. Inside you're greeted with a warm, open kitchen that has bar still seating and a couple tables inside. I wouldn't say it's a big crowd type of place, but a cozy and inviting place to catch up with a friend or to meet up with date. The have a sweet and savory menu, so my partner and I decided to try it. He got the caramel drizzled banana bread with pecans and I got the short rib empanada with chimichurri. I didn't sample the banana bread due to potential dairy but it was "slamming" according to my partner. Coming from him, you know it was of the highest caliber. I dug into the short rib empanada with a bit of the chimichurri and it's something I dream about having again asap. It's was honesty perfect. I can't believe I'm even saying that. For me, it was juicy and so flavorful on it's own. And then adding that sauce, was chef's kiss. There was a bit of a kick so if you don't like spicy, maybe not the chimichurri. As for drinks, I had the Mango Sticky Rice drink (vegan) and my partner had the Burnt Suga, both were delicious. Mine tasted... surprise surprise like mango sticky rice! If you love that combination of flavors, it's a winner. Honestly, I felt like it would make a great summer drink as I found it on the light refreshing side. Taking a sip of the Burnt Suga tasted like love, like how my mom get up in the early hours of the morning and I would smell the coffee in the air. Don't quote me but I feel like it was a darker roast than what I normally get but it wasn't bitter. I don't want to go to crazy writing this review but I'm definitely going to have to come back. read more
Randomly found this place and wanted to try it. I love coffee and was excited to find a new spot. The inside is so cute!! It's like an open kitchen/bar area.. you can see how they make their fresh coffee. They also have outdoor seating. We asked the cashier wha the most popular drinks were because there was a lot to try. We ended up getting the burnt suga and the my horchata iced lattes. The burnt suga was actually really good but the horchata latte was very plain.. it was too light. I feel like there could be more flavor. As for the pistachio croissant pastry thing - OMG! It was SO GOOD!! It was light and flaky and not too sweet. They put so much cream that you can eat it with every bite. 10/10 would recommend! I'll go back and try different drinks and different pastries read more
Shrimp is my favorite out of the dairy free empanada options! (For someone who doesn't like shrimp or is extremely extremely picky about shrimp quality). QQ texture! It's also dairy free. So good, if prefer no sauce for it. The garlic and pink sauce is not dairy free. Their non-dairy sauce is medium spicy. $6 Shrimp and $6 beef empanadas are dairy free. That garlic sauce does have dairy though. Fried is more popular than baked, and faster in time. They are tiny boutique empanadas. But if you're looking for lighter or heftier food, I like almost next door's Armenian small bakery called Arevik Bakery. $3 for a Lahmajo!! Tuesday-Sunday before 4pm. read more

I will start this off by saying, I guess there is a reason for surprises. Walking up to the cafe, I couldn't tell what to expect (especially since you can't really see inside from the outside), but I put aside my judgement and stepped inside. That's when I was surprised to see what was waiting for me within. This cozy latin cafe, filled with charming decor and warm smells, provide a wonderful menu to compliment the vibe. Kiro was an amazing help to us and was super kind. Shoutout to the staff there for being awesome this morning. There was a whole assortment of things try (trust me, I wish I could try them all, maybe with time) but I picked out a few things that stood out to me. For food, we tried the Pandebono, Bunuelos, Chai Cinnamon Roll, Cheese Empanada, and Garlic Shrimp Empanada. The pastries are a MUST. The Pandebono and Bunuelos were cheesy and tasty, the right bite to complement the coffee we ordered. The Chai Cinnamon Roll was subtly sweet and fluffy, a sort of thing to make you smile. The empanadas? Savory and filling. For drinks, we ordered the "My Horchata" Mocktail, the Dalgona Matcha Mocktail, and a decaf cappuccino. The My Horchata was delightful and homey, while the Dalgona Matcha was earthen, sweet, and uniquely salty. You may be thinking, "why did you order a simple cappuccino?" Well, they roast in house! We just had to try it. Their roast was warm, and not too dark like other coffee we have tried. This hidden gem is located in Chinatown, and it is easy to miss if you don't look close enough. But please, visit this cafe and try as much as you can. Take it easy! (haha) read more

Omgoshhh where do I begin?! The location of 'Take it easy' was definitely a hidden gem. Because of the hidden gem factor, parking is at your own risk but the 2 main large parking structures in china town are a couple minutes walking so that definitely wasn't a problem. Walking inside was such an experience. The smell of coffee bean, the ambiance of the little cafe, it was heavenly. They had a great selection of food and beverages on the menu. I went with a seasonal option, the Pumpkin horchata with rice milk. It was divine. I wish I got a pastry but I could not decide between them. There were so many and they all looked delicious. The service made such a great experience because the barista was patient with me, walked me through the menu and recommended one of the best coffees I've had& I'm from California! lol I will be back with a couple people so I can try all the pastries offered. Yum! read more
The cappuccino was $5.5 and the fried breakfast empanada was $6. Cappuccino was a disappointment for me. It didn't look nice and the foam didn't look right either. Where is the smooth foam? Looks like someone just put some foam on top of the drink because they messed it up. The flavor of the coffee wasn't good either. It tastes sour. I should have just gone to Starbucks. The empanada was okay. Service was okay. Music was a bit too loud. read more

Found this little hole in the wall on my way to work. Very hidden from plain sight. The baked goods looked amazing, unfortunately I was just in need of an ice cold pick me up. I ordered the Dalgona Matcha, it was good. Not too sweet & not too milky. The place itself is so cute. Nice decor and they even got merch! I was the only one there that morning and the barista made sure to make my drink yummy. Not too long of a wait, just enough for me to enjoy my surroundings. I will definitely comeback again! read more

Great service! When they say take it easy, they mean it here. The ambience is very peaceful and calm and it's nice to see them preparing everything behind the bar. This coffee shop sells a variety of pastries and coffee. We ordered a hot black coffee which was their house blend. The flavor of the blend was very fruity for us but it may just be our preference. We also ordered a matcha latte that had a 1:4 proportion of matcha to milk. It tasted more milky and you could barely taste the matcha. The matcha drink itself does not come with a sweetener, if you want to add honey it costs $1 extra. Lastly, we ordered a buñuelo which is a deep fried cheese bread ball. It was soft inside and has a nice crisp on the outside! Definitely our favorite item we tried there. The shop itself has a cute vibe with a hint of Colombian decor. There are tables inside and outside and a seated bar to watch your drinks being made. There is also WiFi available! Parking isn't too bad but we parked on the street since the entrance to the parking lot was a bit confusing. read more
