    Chorizo, chicharrón y chichoviche
    Marta N.

*My experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing, and I do not recommend it under any circumstances. I ordered the chichoviche, and everything came out dry, cold, and completely flavorless. The chicharrón had no taste, the chorizo didn't resemble Colombian chorizo at all, and the plantains--which should be crispy even when they come from a bag--were soft. The onions and jalapeños were cold, as if they had just been taken out of the refrigerator, and placing them on the hot food only made the chicharrón and chorizo lukewarm. The extra order of chorizo was even worse: sliced so thin it looked like pepperoni. The chicharrón with tostones came with only one tostón, completely dry, accompanied by yuca with no seasoning whatsoever. The empanadas were also disappointing: they lacked flavor, needed a lot of salt, and the dough was not crispy as a proper Colombian empanada should be. The guava juice was made with water -- definitely could be improved if they offered it with milk -- and we also ordered a Coca-Cola. For all of this, we paid $69, a price that is completely unjustified for the quality and quantity of the food served. Service was minimal. The girl was friendly, but she was hardly ever outside attending tables; she spent most of the time inside the kitchen. The photo speaks for itself: it was impossible to eat that food. I will not be returning, and I do not recommend this place at all.

Very good service and the food was good, I got two classic hot dogs and a salchipapas and it took less than 10 mins to get my food

¡Guau! No me decepcionó. ¡Recomiendo ampliamente este lugar si buscas buena comida colombiana en Las Vegas!

    La picada súper riquísima

Amazing First Visit, Disappointing Second One! Be careful when ordering!…read more I heard so many great things about the infamous churrasco at this restaurant, so I made the trip and ordered it. My first visit (May 16th) was outstanding! The churrasco was a decent, juicy, and tender NY Strip Steak with perfect thickness, served over yuca fries, sweet plantains, and potatoes. The chimichurri on the side wasn't the authentic Argentinian recipe, but it was still good. I ordered it medium rare, exactly how I like it, and it was amazing, tasty, and delicious. (See photo #1.) Today (June 19th), I decided to stop by again--but it was a huge disappointment. The churrasco I received didn't taste like NY Strip Steak and tasted like the regular cheap meat you get when you go to a bad cheap Mexican restaurant and order the famous carne asada plate. It wasn't cooked to the medium temperature I ordered. The cut was extremely thin, almost like Carne Asada or Chuck Roast (the kind used for their $9.99 corrientazo or the meat they served on the "Bandeja Paisa plate" . It was dried, rubbery, and had no taste whatsoever. I mentioned the issue to the waiter and even showed him the meat while asking for the bill. He told me, "I'm sorry, today was your unlucky day , I will let them know"?. This is Unacceptable. A good restaurant management should approach the customer and replace the meal or not even charging ! He acknowledged it was completely wrong when he saw the meat and apologized sincerely. That honesty was appreciated, but it's stories like this that make a restaurant lose its reputation and push customers away. In my case, I'm now afraid to come back and waste my money. First photo: My amazing churrasco from May 5th. Photos 2 & 3: The disappointing churrasco from today (June 19th). I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and improves consistency. A great restaurant can easily become a great and reliable one with better attention to detail. Maybe the cooks picked the wrong meat or sliced it wrong? Just look at images 2 & 3 and compare the big difference--thin and dried! I'm a bit upset about wasting my money for pretty much garbage.

After 2 1/2 hours all but 2 orders were bought to our table when we noticed they were serving the other tables, we asked what happened with the rest of our food and the waitress claimed it was served. A few minutes later we were informed that one of the 2 missing items was not available. It was 3 hours by the time we left, not everyone received their food, we weren't offered other drinks and had to chase her to pay. The reason for the delay was that they ran out of propane, however we did notice some to go orders handed off while half of our party was still without food. It would have been appreciated if they were transparent about the lack of ingredients and propane early on that way we could have decided if we wanted to stay or come back another time. On a positive note the music was good and the burger had great flavor !! If they had more staff and better communication with customers we would definitely come back. It is a definite must try but I wouldn't go hungry, bring my own drink, and a little bit of patience.

Decided to get the bowls which included, rice, protein and a side.. of course we got the Puerto Rican rice, roast pork and fried pork, and plantains. I wanted tostones, but unfortunately it was not available and then I found out the sad news after I asked if they didn't have plantains. I was told that the owner planned to close up shop on Sunday Sept 21. How sad! Decided to then order rellenos papa's and some.mofongo, as I would not get another chance unless I go daily the next 4 days. Everything was good as I remembered. I'm hoping the owner will be able to find another space. It's a cute little dining area. Lots of takeout orders and more diners came in for later lunch, I wonder if they know the place eas closing.

I always pop into this restaurant to eat when I'm in town, and I always seem to order the same thing... I ordered the pernil, which is roasted pork, arroz con gandules, potato salad, and trifongo. The roasted pork was so tender and delicious. I got some of the dark meat pieces, which are my favorite. The trifongo definitely wins the taste test. Trifongo is a Puerto. Rican dish made with green and sweet plantains and mashed together with pieces of fried pork and Chicharrón. My food was so delicious and yummy. I had to leave some of it on my plate, so I wouldn't go into a food coma. As always, the service there is on point and friendly. The host and server does not miss an opportunity to make sure to check up on you and provide water, or whatever beverage you're drinking. They're very sweet and run a pretty efficient shop. The cooks really I did themselves this time! The restaurant is always cleaned... The wait staff is always on top of cleaning the tables, and making sure everything is orderly. The bathroom is also clean. The restaurant has an open kitchen concept, so you can see the cooks in the back, preparing the dishes, including mashing up the plantains to make the trifongo. If you are in town, you must try this place. I recommend the roasted pork and the fried chicken. Of course, if you're looking for something on the smaller side, you can try the trifongo. Be patient though, if they are particularly busy, you may have to wait, and they may be out of some things. Over the years, I've learned to ask what they ran out of. Enjoy!
