We also tried the plate that came with ribs/pork/a tamale. The tamale was kind of dry and lacking in flavor, the pork rib was good but the other pork pieces were super tough (but it did have a lot of flavor). I would definitely go back just to order family-style of that chicken, salad, and fried yucca! Our server was attentive and pleasant. I had the 1/2 Rotisserie Chicken with Rice and Beans which is simply delicious. It's tender and has such great flavor. I loved the sauces it came with, there was a green and yellow sauce on the side which were both great with the chicken. The beans are also very tasty. My BF got the Milanesa de Pollo which is a breaded chicken cutlet. It comes over fries and there is also rice and a simple salad. This dish is also really good. My BIL also got the 1/2 Chicken and we agreed that it's such an amazing dish. He tried the Chicha Miranda, the purple corn juice and he liked it. We all shared a Pork Tamale and the Fried Plantains which we enjoyed. Portion size of the food are big so we ended up taking food home. I definitely want to return and try some of the other dishes. Instead of melted or cooked cheese, it was just pieces of cold cheese, and the "corn" turned out to be hominy. If you're expecting the usual crisp, juicy, and sweet corn, you'll be surprised -- hominy has a large, chewy texture and isn't sweet.
