I've spent a lot of money at this location and have always supported them, but this experience completely changed my view. Today I found a long, curly black hair in the middle of my coleslaw, literally wrapped up with my chicken. It was beyond disgusting and honestly unacceptable. What made it worse was how it was handled. When I called the restaurant, I was told I would need to drive back if I wanted anything done about it. That makes no sense. Why should I have to go out of my way after receiving contaminated food? On top of that, I was told I would need to provide documentation just to get a refund. Basic hygiene should not be an issue, especially for a place that serves food at this volume. And when something like this does happen, customer service should step up, not make it harder for the customer. Typical chicken place. Nothing too special. Service was okay. Ordered the slider meal with a shake. Chicken was decent, fries were great but the milk shake was not worth it at all. Picture of shake on the menu shows it being served in a styrofoam cup (which would help keep it cold). Our shake was served in a regular soda cup so it was basically a cup of 1/2 melted soft serve ice cream with two tablespoons of crushed oreo mint cookie on top. We got our seats and in less than 5 minutes we got our food. I rate the sandwich @ 10/10 their Dave's sauce with honey was fire. They also gave 4 extra pickles on the side without asking. This location is awesome and made all my food fresh even close to close. So refreshing compared to most places that give you lukewarm food and ancient fries. Their new menu items are very good! I got the cauliflower steak slice and then sauced tender flight both were exceptional. They serve good sized chicken breast that is flavorful and moist. Ordered medium and a mild. They are true to the label. The medium had a nice kick but not too much while the mild was not bland at all. We liked that the chicken is not over breaded and the sauce is really good. The meals are served southern style on a couple slices of whitbread with a few dill pickle slices. We did not get any cheese, as there's an option. There's a location closer to me opening soon and I wanted to give them a try without dealing with grand opening crowds and wait times so I travel a lil bit to come to this established location. At first when I checked out the menu I wasn't impressed by the value of what you get for your money, but after eating I can say that the price is somewhat worth it because the size of the tenders are bigger than all of the other places around here (Cane's, Bojangles, Slim Chickens, etc.), at least the one that I got. I opted for the #3 which came with a tender and a slider and I upgraded to cheese fries. I went with HOT level and my spice tolerance is pretty high so for me it was tasty but I probably would get one of the hotter sauces next time. So far, the best tender place in my opinion. read more

Tried Dave's Hot Chicken on W Sahara for the first time today, and I'm officially converted. I got a light mild 2-piece with a Coke Zero, and my man grabbed one with cheese. At the window, we asked Blue if there were any sauces we should try, and they happily hooked us up with Dave's sauce and some honey, telling us to drizzle them on. First off--the tenders are insanely good. I was worried that dipped chicken might be soggy, but nope--crispy, flavorful, and juicy with an obvious brine that makes every bite pop. The fries are straight-up addictive, covered in some kind of crack seasoning that I could eat forever. The fact that the meal comes with sliced bread and pickles means I can switch between tenders and fries or make myself a little sandwich--big win.
