    Lumpiang Shanghai

Yelp Review 2026 #29: The second Max's location in Vegas. They're more organized here and service is better compared to the Flamingo & Maryland Parkway location. You can place an online order for pick-up making it super convenient. You can specify what time you want to pick up your order. Fried Chicken: You can't go to Max's without getting their fried chicken! I grew up eating this chicken. I prefer eating this with garlic rice and dipping the chicken in Jufran hot & spicy ketchup. 4/5 Lumpiang Shanghai: I'm addicted to lumpia. Every time I see it on the menu, I have to have it. The batch we got was slightly over cooked but it was still delicious - just extra crispy. LOL. The sweet and sour sauce needs more oomph. I used Thai sweet and sour sauce I had in the fridge at home. 4/5 I recommend their fried chicken, garlic rice, crispy pata, lumpiang Shanghai, lumpiand ubod, bangus, lechon kawali, liempo, halo-halo, and caramel bar. Pancit, sisig, bbq, and sinigang are popular Filipino dishes worth trying.

I'm glad they have This new location that when I crave for Max's it's near our house !! However this location especially their decor didn't look the Max that I have known, it didn't feel homey maybe because they just opened 2 months ago. Service was great. Food flavor is the same as the Maryland Parkways. Fried chicken tasted good, my fresh lumpia was flavorful. Plenty of parking.

Party of 5 on a Saturday afternoon was my first visit at this new locaion. 4.5..but I'm rounding up because our server Jordan was great! This is a smaller location as compared to other Max's locations I've been to. Think Shake Shack sized but the tables and chairs are positioned perfectly for maximum capacity while still giving their diners space. Cool vintage Pinoy Decor adorn the walls. I totally dig the black and white pic of the first Max's. Our server Jordan was super friendly and kept our drinks fresh. The team greeting everyone in was pleasant. The kitchen was quick with getting our dishes to the table. We went family style this visit.. Pork BBQ - Juicy and Tasty Lechon Kawali - Classic dish, done right. Sinigang Baboy - Broth was on point Garlic Rice - Good times Pancit Bihon - Fresh noodles Halo Halo - Perfect icy dessert to wind down the visit. I don't live on this side of town. If you do, and are fiending Filipino comfort dishes, Max's has you covered. Ingat ka! (Take Care=)

Overall Rating: 5 Stars Finally, a Max's off the strip! Parking: There is parking in a shared lot with other businesses! Ambiance/Decor: The ambiance is very cute and cozy! It definitely gives Filipino family home vibes. The choice of music and music levels were perfect as well. Customer Service: The service was phenomenal from upon being greeted when we arrived. Our server, Justin, was absolutely amazing. He knew the menu front to back and everything he suggested was perfect. Food: The food was fantastic! It felt like I was in the Philippines having lunch. Everything arrived quick, fresh, hot, and delicious. I just wish they had Lechon sauce at the time we were there for lunch so hopefully they will have it available next time when we come in for lunch or dinner. Their ketchup is INCREDIBLE! I wish they sold it by the bottle to take home. If you love ketchup, definitely ask for it! Everything can be served family style so keep that in mind when ordering! Overall: Overall, my husband and I had a wonderful experience from the quality of the service and the food. This was the perfect addition to that plaza and I can't wait to go back again. I hope this review helps you decide on where to have a classic Filipino lunch or dinner off the strip! Overall Rating: 5 Stars

Nice to have a Max's location away from the strip area! Their menu is limited compared to their original location on Flamingo and Maryland, but I'm not sure if it's because they just opened. It's smaller than the original location, but there's still plenty of group seating. Service was fast and on point. All the meals we ordered were shareable / family style. We ordered the Max's chicken, lechon, oxtail soup, kare kare, and garlic rice. The Max's chicken was good as usual - juicy with lightly crispy chicken served with fries. The oxtail soup was a huge portion and good for a group of 4-6 people. We were a group of 4, and we ended up taking home the oxtail soup because the portion was so large. The oxtail soup was full of flavor and includes the typical cabbage, corn, and potatoes. Lechon came with a side of soy sauce and vinegar with diced onions, which I love with the lechon. I'm glad a good Filipino restaurant finally opened at my side of town.

Starting off saying, backing off another review. This place is more organized, the ambience is more vibrant and a lot nicer. The food was pretty good. I went out of the way to go to this location than the other one closer to the strip. Thanks again for the great service and nice food. They are just opening so they are low staffed but was patient. The waiting time for food was 10 minutes or didn't feel very long as I sat down in the restaurant. ordered the Crispy Pata, Max's Fried chicken (had banana ketchup), sisig, and sinigang. I just wished the sisig was crunchy otherwise it's pretty good overall.

    Crispy PaTa

The service alone makes this place stand out. Our server Justin was handling everything solo when a rush came in, yet stayed calm, attentive, and genuinely warm--checking in on us and making sure we were enjoying every moment. As for the food: the crispy pata was consistently satisfying, the chicken was a clear highlight, and the bihon noodles were cooked just right. The drinks weren't overly sweet, which was refreshing, and the kare-kare was generous with meat and hit the spot. Overall, a well-rounded dining experience with both great service and thoughtfully prepared dishes. Definitely a Filipino restaurant worth recommending. Loved the ambience too--beautiful chairs and warm chandelier lighting that made the whole experience feel elevated.

I was so excited that this has already opened! The staff was friendly and attentive. The fried chicken we ordered was delicious! The bangus (fried milkfish) however was rather lacking flavor. My husband enjoyed the chicharon bulaklak though! The lumpia I felt was a bit mushy in texture, and the garlic fried rice was too mushy and lacked garlic. Overall id come back as I want to give them another shot as they did just open.

Our server Justin did an excellent job! The food was tasty and it was overall a good experience. My only gripe is that a handful of the menu items were not available like the BBQ skewers or the sisig.

On Sunday, we said our GOOD-BYES and it was decided we'd seek Filipino cuisine. Jocelyn checked her phone and came up with a restaurant, "FULL HOUSE." So there we went and we had a great dinner. As we walked in, a voice was heard: "WELCOME!" ... choose a table!" We did and in no time, A young man (Zeus) came to us with menus and said we could call him when ready! Well, between Tastic, Neil and Jocelyn, the menu items were selected, and Eros took our order. It was very long before the items began being served to us and we began our mini feast. The restaurant is not very big but it is great. The service is top notch as the Waiters and cooks were very timely. Situated in the "SILVERADO RANCH CENTER", parking is plentiful and the entire area is very nice. When in Vegas, go enjoy what the FULL HOUSE offers and tell Eros & his fraternal brother (Zeus): "PELOS PARADOS sent us!"

Great customer service! The owner even brought over complimentary fried eggplant skin chips with this creamy aioli sauce. We only got a cup of it but I'd totally get more. Very garlic forward with fried bits and it wasn't overly oily like Java rice I'm used to. Their regular order of pork lumpia comes in a Jeepney container but only has four pieces so I ordered the app sampler instead. It arrives with a trio of sauces: aioli, soy vinegar, sweet n sour. Kare kare (oxtail peanut stew) was solid. Delicious with steamed rice. Doesn't overly taste like straight up peanut butter. Grilled fish had all the essence of classic vinegar with extra on the side. Parents liked this. Bitter melon beef was on the salty side. Had to get those greens in. Halo Halo! They shape some shaved ice, ladle on all the sweet beans, jellies, coconut gel (my fave!), jackfruit, sweet corn, etc. before drizzling on condensed and evaporated milks, topping it with ube ice cream, then the square of leche flan with sugar torched to perfection! Can't forget about the crisp pinipig rice which they dye green. Pour on the side of extra evaporated milk after the flame dies down. Big enough for four people to share! We arrived hungry and left happy! Thank you so much to Full House BBQ for this taste of home in Vegas.

We started with the lumpiang ubod, which was freshly made and tasted exactly how I remember it. The sauce was spot on and really brought everything together. For mains, we had the kare kare and pork sisig. The kare kare had a perfectly balanced peanut sauce and was loaded with bok choy, eggplant, sitaw, and plenty of meat. The tripe was well-prepared, tender, and didn't overpower the dish at all. The pork sisig was done the traditional way--nice and crispy with lots of porky bits, topped with a fried egg, and served sizzling. The slight heat from the sili gave it just the right kick. We also ordered a sago't gulaman, which came with red gulaman since they were out of the black. Still, it was refreshing and paired really well with the meal. We went here maybe once or twice a very while ago like 3+yrs and remembered it being somewhat ok some of the stuff in the menu was marked Not available at the time but now it did not seem to be a problem, service was ok we were greeted and seated right way. Husband ordered combo pho and I ordered the bangus plate which I had to make sure it was boneless. Honestly my plate was just ok garlic fried rice don't really taste garlic fried rice, milk fish was just ok even breaded it lacked a little bit on flavor and the vinegar mixed they give us isn't all that I can honestly make a garlic fish sauce and vinegar better. Husband pho was ok in flavor but the veggies they provide was old so make sure you check that. The place is nice and big but for a Friday lunch it's pretty empty and it seemed Like it definitely had owned by a different management since we have been it's just ok. Husband's pho was ok not worth $18.99 on the menu because the portions of the meat and honestly not as authentic as a pho place.I think if your are craving pho go to more authentic ones on spring mountain. Filipino food wise umm honestly it's just ok, many other Filipino places near by taste authentic and way better in price .

They also advertise as a seafood grill, yet there were no seafood options during our visit. There's a $4 upcharge for lechon belly, but no other pork dishes were offered--no pork adobo, no lechon kawali. If you're charging extra for a premium item, there should at least be other standard pork options included.
