I'd heard good things about this place but never been before. It has excellent Italian food. You can tell they make a lot from scratch. Years ago I thought Brio (Rio Bravo) was good, but over the years their quality declined and cost went up. Omezzo isn't cheap, but with the excellent quality and service it's well worth the bill. Omezzo not amazing. I was hoping to try a new place and find a place for good pizza. We got the Cesar salad, meat lasagna and pepperoni pizza. Cesar salad was made with chopped romain and tiny little croutons , I think I got 4 my wife got 3 croutons. Bottle dressing not great. The lasagna was11.99. The sauce was bland the meat tasted old and the noodles were slimy. The lasagna was on par with a frozen stoffers meal .Portion size was small which was good because it sucked. Pizza was just slightly better than a frozen pizza from Kroger. Atmosphere is not good dirty red carpet ,cracks on the walls ,laminated paper menus. Service was ok but interaction with our server was awkward as she was a little out of it. I would have to say for 36 bucks plus tip I will not be back and wound tell you to stay away. read more

After seeing 100% 5 star reviews we thought this was gonna be a hit. Although not many reviews makes me skeptical of real customers or family and friends helping out someone. We are huge pizza eaters however the photo of the pizza that was on here isn't like what we received in looks. The crust tasted like a store bought crust and too perfect for hand thrown crust really didn't taste fresh made. Very dry and cardboard like. Sauce was pretty good but pizza reminded me of a frozen pizza in taste. I've had pizza at three other places in town and never had a bad pizza and we struggle figuring out which place to order from cause they are all good. I'm sad to say this isn't in the running for pizza in our future. Although the place was very clean and customer service was great. Well. I really don't think it was Italian. My wife left hungry. She ordered chicken Marsala $18.00 and change. One lousy chicken finger is all that was on a bed of angel hair pasta. I thought for a moment we were in a French restaurant with the amount of food received. We did get two plates of bread. Ordered wine not bad. I ordered lasagna which was cheese with noodle. Yuk. Oh well that restaurant is crossed off our list. Looked like a nice mom and pop restaurant. Too bad. Can you believe it. They are building a take out next door. read more

The service was outstanding, the atmosphere is warm and authentic, and the food is fresh and prepared to order and was incredibly delicious! The chef personally visited our table and modified my order to my request for marinara to be added to their Alfredo Chicken Parmesan. The breading on the chicken was light and crunchy, and baked just right. And the angel hair pasta mixed with the creamy Alfredo sauce was incredible. My wife ordered the "trio" and said their Pasta Alfredo was full of flavor and so delicious. We've discovered our new favorite Italian restaurant! We'll be making many future visits! read more

Never knew this place existed. Found it searching yelp looking for a new non--chain restaurant since Butch's in Canal fell off the face of the planet. New favorite! I had the baked ziti which was pretty good and there were many things on the menu I'm anxious to go back and try. Very friendly staff including the owner who made his rounds and stopped by every table to ensure things were going smoothly. You don't get that much at all any more. Extremely reasonable prices too. Feels like just classic home style Italian in a comfortable casual atmosphere. Recommended for sure. Whether you want basic pasta all the way to pizza and subs you're sure to find something for your taste pallets here. read more

My wife and I went there for dinner last night. She had seen it via a post online from another person in Pickerington. I had never heard of this place. We were cautious when we walked in as there was nobody else in the restaurant at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. I believe it was the owner who greeted us immediately. He was very friendly and helpful throughout our evening. The owner handles the waiting, serving and cooking. He was very willing to change anything on a dish to soot your desire. My wife ordered the Omezzo pasta and I had the Chicken Carbonara. Both were very good. My wife's portion was large enough she could have two meals and did take a lot home. Mine was outstanding. One of the best Carbonara dishes I have had. It also had a little spice that gave it a little kick. That was good and took it from a good dish to outstanding. I probably should have taken some home, but it was so good I ate it all. The menu has a good variety and is reasonably priced. The only negative we could say was it was very quiet in there when we first arrived. This was since we were they only ones there. Once other tables came in it was fine. When several other couples/tables came in while we were eating the owner immediately greeted all of them. Several of them seemed like regulars as it was an especially warm welcome. As we were finishing I think his family came in and they assisted in serving us. All were very friendly. This is very good friendly, family owned business and is quite a surprise in Pickerington. Go give it a try. If you don't like something tell the owner, he will do everything to change it to his desire. Well worth a return visit. read more

This place is such a gem! Wonderful small business in Pickerington! We had a bottle of red wine (no corkage fee on this particular bottle btw. I am not sure if that is just their overall policy. Unheard of & so appreciated!), the Trio Omezzo, Veal Piccatta, side salad, & tiramisu. Everything was high quality & tasted amazing. My husband said it put other Italian restaurants to shame! This restaurant really exceeded my expectations. It is some of the best food I have ever had.. the owner and chef waited on us himself I believe since it was our first time here he made several recommendations. My husband and I tried this place last Friday. We were looking for something new and different and picked this based on the Yelp reviews. WOW! New favorite place! I had the Chicken Diavolo and it was outstanding. A perfect combination of spicy and sweet. My husband had a mushroom swiss burger that he said was very good as well. We also took dessert home and the tiramisu was so good and rich and perfect. The next time I am going to try to chicken parm :-) I would highly recommend this place. So it's date night wife the wife and she decided she wanted Italian food. We look on Yelp to see what has good ratings and is fairly close to where we live. That is when we stumbled upon Omezzo. From the minute we walked in and were seated we knew we were in for a treat. Once we were seated the chef personally came out to our table to tell us what the daily special was and thanked us for stopping in. My wife ordered the chicken parmigiana and I ordered the meal parmigiana. DELICIOUS! To top it all off we split a piece of their lemon cake. read more

My wife and I were in the area for business. This was very close to the Hampton Inn so we decided to try it. We were a little wary as it's in more of a strip mall type place. We were greeted right away and then the chef came out after we received our drinks to explain the specials and to answer any questions we had. The food was excellent and so was the staff. We went with a friend who highly recommended this restaurant. Our meals were both wonderful! My wife said her meal was the best Italian dining she'd ever had. My wedding soup was really flavorful, and my Chicken Parm was right up there--probably as good as I've ever had anyplace. Pasta was delicious, as were the sauces. Clean, pleasant dining room, attentive service, and we will be back when we are in the area (we live about 100 miles away). The desserts were really special, too. What a hidden gem!! I loved this restaurant. The white tablecloths gave me a great first impression and the staff followed up with GREAT service. My meal of chicken diavolo was piping hot which is what I loved. I do not enjoy a lukewarm meal. The waitress was super attentive and made us feel at home with joking conversation. I love this place! Don't let the location fool you - this is a hidden gem! The owner/chef is very nice, and comes out to check and see if everything is OK. He clearly cares about what he does and his customers! Everything I have ever had there has been delicious...but if you go I would highly recommend the Chicken Francais! If you're in the mood for some pasta, this is a great place for it. Lemon chicken is pretty good with a nice thick sauce. A side salad came a bit drowned in dressing, but that's a common problem. We had plenty of leftovers even after eating a generous meal, and the dining room had a nice atmosphere. read more

Although I have eaten here many times, and my girlfriend often request I take her here, I can't believe the way I was treated this evening. It was like I wasn't even a human being and my time didn't matter. I went here to pick up a carry order and was asked to hide in a back room. When I asked why I had to hide in a back room, because it seemed rude, I was berated by an angry woman who seemed more interested in arguing with me than doing much of anything else. Although I agreed to wait, a man who I presume to be the co-owner came out to ask me "what the problem is". I told him everything was fine, but then he sent another woman who lied to me that they cancelled the order so I would have to take the loss. Please do not support Restaurants who treat people this poorly. I have spent over $100 for two people here, plus a tip to same woman who berated me. Frankly it's over priced for what is. You're much better going to place like La Tavola, which is owned by Italians and way more classy. It's more expensive, but not over priced. The food quality is much bet for what you pay. read more

Had high hopes for this place as the reviews were great and the menu looked promising. Got the margherita pizza and an order of eggplant parm to go. Let me preface this review by saying that the food was not sitting around at all as I picked up the order the minute it was ready and ate within 5-10 mins after that. There was hardly ANY marinara sauce on the pasta and the eggplant-it was really dry. I had to add sauce from a jar and well that just defeats the purpose of getting takeout if you have to put Classico sauce on your food. The eggplant was fine because anything tastes good fried but it wasn't great. The garlic bread it came with was a bit soggy and not totally toasted...like it was rushed. The pizza was very odd. It was...chewy? That's the closest adjective that I can think of. The dough also had a perfectly formed look which made me think it may be frozen and not fresh. Please correct me if I'm wrong and someone has insider info. There was WAY too much cheese for a margherita pizza and the cheese was chewy-didn't taste like real or even mediocre mozzarella. The basil was in tiny shreds and they were few and far between which took away any taste. The tomatoes on top were light pink in color (not ripe) and flavorless. We threw away what we didn't eat. I can absolutely make better pizza than this at home and the only reason I ordered out is because I realized I didn't have fresh pizza dough at the last minute and didn't want to run to the store to get some. I was craving my own pizza the whole time I was eating theirs and I'm not a stellar chef. read more

I went here specifically for spaghetti. It took 40 minutes from the time I ordered my food for it to be ready though this was not a problem as they set expectations on the call. The food smelled great. Portions were ok. Once I got the meal, the taste was bland and disappointing overall. The spaghetti is genuinely something I would imagine someone trying to make spaghetti for the first time would make. No flavor, very mediocre. I wouldn't have been upset had the price not been $14. It's not worth the money and I am more hesitant to try any of their other food after this meal. read more

Omezzo is a small Italian restaurant that serves fresh dishes. I ordered the Italian sausage with penne pasta. The pasta was good but I wasn't a fan of the sausage. My mom had the lasagna which was delicious. The sauce had lots of flavor which is the most important part of any pasta dish for me. I will definitely come back but will order something else. They have lots of stuff on their menu that should satisfy all including vegan and vegetarian dishes (there's a veggie lasagna). The staff was friendly/polite and the wine prices are affordable (6 for a glass). Overall, great place! read more
