Had dinner here with a friend. Sat at the bar as you get served there otherwise if you want to set at a table you have to order at the counter and they bring the food to you . I had the lamb chops as usual . The price went up acouple dollars . It's now 30.00 instead of 28.00 . They gave me acouple extras as I thought they had alittle more fat on them than usual . Mine was completely frozen in the middle and my husband took it up and told them, they re microwaved it and gave it back. The outsides were then scalding and the middle was still lukewarm at best. Koble is one of our regular spots, especially for lunch. They have great gyros and their fries are awesome too. I have had many other things including the pasta and stuffed peppers and everything has been good but not as great as the gyro. My girls love the Greek flatbread and they go to just get that to share. It's a solid local place with quick food service and a nice bar. read more

The food here is outstanding. This is my second time here and everything I have tried has been fantastic. Since visiting Greece, my wife and I go out of our way to try Greek restaurants and this is at the top of them. The restaurant itself is in a great location in downtown Powell. There is plenty of parking. The inside is nice and spacious with plenty of TVs if you wanted to catch a game with some friends. The patio is also very nice. Love this place! Had dinner here last Saturday with some friends and we really enjoyed it. You order up front and your meal is brought out to you, but it's really nice and has more of a sit down vibe. The servers that brought out our food periodically also checked on us. They specialize in Italian and Greek food. I particularly enjoyed the Saganaki, Hummus, vegetables, and fries with garlic sauce. Also got a piece of chocolate cake to go. I want to start off by saying I usually eat in at this restaurant and have not had an issue while eating in. I placed a to go order for a gyro, fries and flatbread. Unfortunately, when I got home (I don't live far), the fries were ice cold, the flatbread was somehow burnt but also cold, and there was no sauce on the flatbread, so it was a very dry flatbread. The only thing we ended up eating was the gyro. I debated calling to let them know about our order and ultimately I ended up going through with it. When I told the person who answered what happened with our order, they did not make me feel like they cared. Which is fine if they didn't actually care, but at least try to make me believe it. The response I received was 'Oh, sorry, next time come in'. Even though there was a 'sorry', the tone felt dismissive. I feel like I did not receive any customer service or any attempt at it. No, 'is there anything we can do for you?', 'are you able to bring the food back in for us to remake?', they never asked me for any other information and did not say anything else. I have worked in customer service for a very long time and I just wish they did more or did anything to offer a solution. The order itself was $27 + tax and I tipped 30%. In the end, we basically paid $40 for a gyro. I will never do a to go order here again. It is just not worth it. Thank you to anyone who took the time to read this far. read more

My family enjoys eating here for lunch some Sundays. There's always tables available at that time and the service is great. I always order the original gyro in either regular or jumbo size. The garlic sauce on the gyro is delicious and the portion size is generous, even without ordering the jumbo. I ask for no tomato on my gyros but their is a good serving of red onion, feta cheese, and lettuce also included. Sometimes I order fries on the side which have a tasty seasoning on them. Someday I want to try the baklava and other desserts in the display case - they look so good! As well as trying other things on the menu, there are plenty of Greek dishes like kebabs and lamb, as well as other options. I love this Koble!! It is new and amazing inside compared to Westerville. I am just not a huge fan of this type of food..but it does the trick. It is very old inside somehow. The service was average. I got a martini that was not great by any means. I think the food is pricey for what you get. I will be back every so often, but not much. The paninis are so so. I could make the same ones at home. Met a few friends for dinner here. I had not been here during the dinner period before. The place is quiet busy in the evenings. The parking lot is behind the strip mall off of Powell Road, not really visible from the road. Can be a bit of a challenge trying to find a spot as it can be limited during busy times. Its an enjoyable place to meet up with friends to share a meal together. As the place was quite busy that evening, we found a table and staked it out until others in our party arrived. They do have outdoor seating that wraps around the side of the building and along the front on Powell Road. It's a nice outside area, but can be a bit noisy with street traffic during peak times. Quite enjoyable, however. What I had not realized is that there really isn't table service, particularly in the evenings. You need to first order as well as pay for your food at the carry-out counter. They will give you a table marker and bring your food out to you when you are ready. Similarly, you will need to go to their bar to order drinks. Tonight, I had their Village Salad, but added grilled shrimp for some protein. There were several pieces of medium size shrimp which were quite plump and tasty. I am glad I added the shrimp as the salad itself is more of a side salad as opposed to a dinner salad. Great Village salad with large chunks of cucumbers, tomatoes, green peppers, onions and crumbled feta cheese. read more

Third time here, and I finally tried the food! I'm a big eater, but not that big... we split the apps three ways. Had the wings with both the mild and garlic sauces. They were great! Well cooked, a little crisp to them, and perfectly sauced. Both were solid flavors. The other app we had was the seafood combo (listed first on the menu). The shrimp were really good - big, fried, and well seasoned. Calamari was solid, paired really nicely with the garlic sauce they had. Didn't know what smelt was... those are the whole fishes on the plate. They were pretty fishy. The entree was the only let down (tempted to drop the overally down to 4). I got the spicy gyro and it didn't have much heat and really didn't taste like a gyro... think I definitely just get the regular gyro next time because, honestly, nothing beats a gyro. Finally got a chance to stop by for dinner as I have been meaning to for a while. The place was packed on the Saturday we went and they were doing brisk takeout business. I liked that they also offered whole bottles of wine to go. The restaurant has you order at the counter then they bring it to you when ready. This wasn't evident as we came in the side door and there was no hostess stand to be found. Hard to get a seat and the bar was packed - not sure if they were following social distancing guidelines that closely. I ordered a regular gyro which was delicious and super meaty. Stopped in this local place on Liberty Street in Powell for a lite lunch before shopping. This place has parking on back of restaurant, it's a decent amount. We had the Greek Salad that was was so good and so very big portion. Sorry the picture doesn't do justice to the portion size. It's served with everything you would expect on a Greek Salad along with pita bread sliced on the side. We also tried the Lemon potato spears, these were incredible sorry no picture I started in and before I realized food was gone.. But trust me these are a great side to anything. Not really hungry, but wanting a snack and to try someplace new we ended up a Koble. You order your food and then find a seat. Their menu offers a lot of different options in each category. They have a pick-your-own flavor Coke machine, or alcoholic beverages. Once you order your food you can grab a seat. There is a bar, indoor seating, or a nice little wrap around patio seating available. We chose to eat outside. Since we weren't that hungry two of us split the saganaki and a gyro. I stopped by the Powell location one weekend and would highly recommend if you are in the area. Koble Grill have an extensive menu that span across Greek and Italian food. You will first order from the counter and your order will be bring to your table. The spaciousness at the Powell location is especially what I love. The bar area set at the center area and surrounded by high top and booth seating. They also have quite a few patio seating available as well. I love their Gyros. I heard great things about Koble Grill from friends so I knew I had to come and try this place. It is a half Greek/half Italian restaurant. My husband got the ever popular spicy gyro and I for the original regular gyro with fries. My husband seemed to like the spicy gyro. Definitely surprised me eating spicy gyro though. I liked my gyro as it was filing and the fries had been seasoned which was nice. I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu but maybe to go instead of dining in. read more

Yummy! Loved my spicy feta gyro. It has just the right amount of zest and was huge! I ate it with a fork and knife. Ice tea was fresh brew and unsweetened just the way I like it. Honestly, our experience was disappointing. We used Grubhub to place the order. After placing the order I called the restaurant to let them know that they shouldn't put raw onions in any of the dishes l. They took my name down and assured me that this would be taken care of. However, when the food arrived both gyros had raw onions in them as well as the salad that came with the stuffed peppers. And there were raw onions a plenty! My wife hates the smell of raw onions and so this pretty much ruined the meal. Personally, I thought the spicy gyro pretty good but the grilled octopus was awful. The stuffed peppers were just okay as were the moussaka and the dolmades. It's important that we support our local restaurants during Covid times, which is why the rating is not lower, but I must say both the service and the food were underwhelming read more

GOOD SIGN I popped in five minutes before opening they were already a few other cars waiting to get in for lunch on a Tuesday. PAR FOR THE COURSE Excellent Greek food for Albanians Spanish chefs that cook it. PICTURED Seen above is the pita sampler with four different flavored dipping sauces such as spicy feta cheese, A hummus dip, classic tzatziki and a 4th mystery one in the green. SHOWMANSHIP & EXTRA PIZAZZ It's been along time since I had flaming saganaki cheese. Many other Greek places will not pour the liquor over the cheese and light it on fire at the tables anymore but they definitely did it today with a shout to go along with it, "OPA!" That was fun DESSERT CHOICE The cheesecake was gorgeous in the front case, but lacking any cherry sauce. I added it to my order and by the time i sampled everything above to my satisfaction, the cheesecake was a delicate room temperature, making it ever so soft, allowing gravity to pull it gently to the plate; no crust to push through? The front half of the cheesecake found no crunchy Graham-crackered sugar-crystal-crunch at the bottom. The one napkin in the rollup provided didn't make it through the meal, with all these delicacies you're gonna always want to ask for a couple extras. I find myself with sticky fingers and heading to the bathroom now. BATHROOMS, PLUMBERS & QUESTIONS After a pleasant meal, staring at the patio, in the 1130 sun, my brunch is almost complete on a Tuesday morning filled with one of the healthiest meals you can get in the city, lamb chops, cooked to perfection by someone with talent in the kitchen. When I get to the bathroom I noticed that of the three sinks, one is clogged and filled with debris at the bottom. The urinal is closed so there's obviously some plumbing issues going on here. And only the stall is open which turns into a whirlpool of endless flushing that never stops. I think someone needs to send plumber to this location. MANAGEMENT Bathrooms tell you a lot about home place is being operated. Always check the bathrooms. I have questions. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL RESTAURANTS! Oh plates of deliciousness in my belly! All I can say is that if you do go (and you should), you must order the "Get All 4." It is a plate with hummus, spicy feta, tzatziki and spinch goat cheese served with warm pita bread (and fresh veggies for an upcharge). We could have licked the plate it was so good. For entrees we had a greek salad with gyro and a chicken kabob. The food came out quickly, and the staff was friendly and professional. We sat out on their outside patio and enjoyed the mix of random 90s tunes for our dinner music. The interior of the restaurant has a spacious bar and very clean restrooms. This is my se one time going to this restaurant and I think the food is quiet tasty, the falafel gyro was not good at all, super dry and with a lack of flavor. But, this last time I went with friends and I recommended this place to them so we finally went. First, nobody greeted us when we entered, I had to ask to one of the employees if we could sit and she told me we could choose anywhere, fine, we chose a table and nobody when to take our order, we had to ask again what was going on and now you have to go to the register, order your food and sit back again. If you want a extra Beverage or napkins or anything you have to stand up, go to the register and ask for any item you need, and on top of that they ask to leave a tip for the service they didn't provide. I usually go to restaurants for the food and sometimes I like casual informal places where I can order my food in a register but usually is at MacDonals not a restaurant of this kind in Powell. The food was good, the environment was like you where in a MacDonals with a few tvs streaming football. I was really disappointed this time of the service and I am wondering if I want to go again or even recommend it to my friends. read more

After spending well over $1000 in their bar over a year they hired a thief. My wife and I went in for lunch on or about 11/7/23 the food is separate and we ordered two drinks from the bar the thief said that I had to use a card for security since there was only three groups in there but I complied the bill was $36 so I paid cash and left $43 the next day I checked my account for something else and noticed the charge of $36 pending and it posted on my account so she stole the restaurant money and then stole the money from my account I called and they said they would credit it back but my bank called yesterday and said that they hadn't received a refund and I couldn't dispute because I paid cash and now I refuse to ever go back again read more

Portion sizes are fairly large as well. My only complaint is that everything looks amazing so if you want to sample a few things it gets pricey.
