I have photo evidence of the unhealthy amount of times I have been here with my friends because of how much I love this place. I've tried NUMEROUS escape room companies, and the Sunnyvale omescape by far blows it out of the park! from the production, to the actors, the hosts, the workers, and the storylines, everything is just amazing. The experience is always soo awesome at this specific location and I really value the enthusiasm from the workers here! It's def worth the money. if I were to rate the escape rooms, here's my list from top to worst (rating is for puzzles, difficulty, production, and overall team experience) 1. Haunting of Haruka High 2. Undercooked 3. Apartment Next Door 4. Chaos in Galleria 5. Kingdom of Cat-tastrophy 6. Midnight in Hong Kong I still need to try robotopia and forsaken temple so I can't wait to come back to try the remaining ones!

This was so much fun, especially the live actor participation. Definitely recommend it to everyone.

Fantastic staff. This escape room experience exceeded our expectations! Booked a same day game for 13 people. Yes a big group! And luckily and happily they were able to have us! Tried "midnight in Hong Kong" which is perfect for a large group and it was so detailed and well thought out. Woah! What a thrill. Appreciate the hints cus I was so stuck and I felt better and a bit accomplished once I figured out my personal puzzle. Worth the experience.

Today I did Chaos in the Galleria with my coworkers. It was another great room with a fun plot and lots of great puzzles! I always love how creative this OMESCAPE is, and I especially appreciate JUSTIN for being an enthusiastic and helpful host!

Wow! My pool team captain booked "Midnight in Hong Kong" as a team building fun night out. I've done a few Escape Rooms in my day, but this one had some features that are new to me. With 12 players, we had two six-player teams racing against one another in the same space... The Dragons vs. The Tigers, the winning team will get to take over the Hong Kong underground organized crime. It sounds like it would be a recipe for chaos, but it worked quite well. In addition to solving several challenges in our 90 minutes, we each had a personal puzzle we could work one. If solved, we could sabotage our opponents for a brief moment. All the puzzles were well thought out, challenging but solvable. The details in the rooms are extraordinary and pleasing. Arella was our tour guide/helper/actor and did a super job.

This is my first time participating in Omescape - Robotopia. This escape room is no joke, and so fun when you're playing with friends. I went to this location to celebrate my birthday. There are plenty of spots to park, and when you enter, the front desk staff is super welcoming and excited. They sell stickers at the front. You can also get free stickers by leaving a review. The game we played was Robotopia. We finished past the 2 hour mark. The staff was very kind to extend this time for us because we definitely would not be able to escape within 2 hours. This was a difficult one. Thank you so much for this experience. I can't wait to try other games in this escape room.

The escape room addiction is real!! Ever since my friends introduced us, we play like 1x a month. We've played at the San Jose Omescape location and the Sunnyvale one is 100x better! The technology and the special effects here are so good. The production, the space to play, and props really gets you immersed in the experience. My friends and I have done 3 rooms here so far: Haunting at Haruka High - the most storyline driven room and requires you to listen to the clues. This one had the most special effects and technology compared to the other rooms and it was so immersive. I love when rooms have good storylines rather than random rooms of puzzles. Alan was our game master and made the game both scary and funny. Be prepared for jump scares and flashing lights. Midnight in Hong Kong - this one required two groups to challenge each other. The competition and the story line made this super fun. I highly recommend this one if your group is competitive. The only downside to this is that if your opposing team finishes their puzzles faster, the game ends before your team can finish their puzzles. I recommend mixing and matching stronger players to weaker players so that the teams are divided fairly. We made sure to do that and we were neck and neck with our puzzles. The losing team ultimately was only 1 puzzle short. The host Arella was super nice and funny. She was really patient about showing us which puzzle we misse Chaos in the Galleria - tons of puzzles to solve but not our favorite because we were all split up. There were a lot of interactive moments but it is what it's called - chaos.

Wonderful, spooky time at Haruka High. Almost peed my pants. They were nice about it even though I accidentally threw something.

Ask the Community - Omescape

Which rooms are super interactive with live characters in it,, other then Haunting at Hauku?

Robotopia

Is cost by person playing? or the escape room type?

Would this be good for a 10 year old's birthday party? What is the minimum age for kids to play?

Possibly. These escape rooms have a lot of fairly complicated puzzles to solve and teamwork is required to complete the room. However if they get stuck they can always ask for help and will still enjoy it even with the help.

Are any of the rooms family friendly or best for kids?

I've only done one room here so far but the Undercooked theme one is very family friendly and I think kids would really enjoy it.

Anyone know when in September that they'll be back in action?

Omescape has been reopened in both San Jose and Sunnyvale for over a month now.

It was really fun working with colleagues in a different way. Directors to entry level engineers were on equal playing field making for fun a light competition between teams. The real competition though is between your team and the game to see if you can figure out the clues and put it all together. Tal was very responsive and easy to work with. Although we enjoyed the general plot of the scavenger hunt and liked the experience of narrowing down who the culprit was, we felt that the clues were excessively specific, as we had to skim through every label in each area of the museum to get the information we needed. I think we would've preferred more general clues where you could still enjoy the information in that area of the museum without having to work so hard to search through each line of text. I also felt like the clues given were not very connected to the objects in the museum, and the plot of the mystery didn't seem very relevant to the setting of the museum. This took us out of the environment of the museum and made the experience less enjoyable. I felt that the length of was too long at 2.5 hours, although if the clues hadn't been as specific, perhaps we would have been less mentally exhausted at the end. We felt that it was fairly easy to narrow down the culprit with a handful of clues, so I think it would have made for far more intrigue if the clues were more directly tied to the plot and involved more thinking rather than just piecing together tidbits of information. My biggest qualm was the price of the scavenger hunt. I felt like paying $60 for to cover the cost of the museum admission, the video at the beginning of the scavenger hunt, and the website that was made for the scavenger hunt was very unreasonable. An average escape room in the area is about $40 to $50, and escape rooms have much more upfront expenses for the organizers, including the cost of renting the space, the elaborate props, and the staffing. This was a fairly enjoyable one-time experience, but in the future I would just go to an escape room.

Tour groups are TOO LARGE! they pack over two dozen people into tiny rooms with the people breathing down your neck. Price of the tour is TOO EXPENSIVE: if the groups were smaller so the experience wasn't so rushed and crowded, I would accept the high price. But to charge this amount and then jam you into a too-crowded tour group is simply price-gouging at the expensive of the customer. Really takes away from the positive feeling of the experience. If it weren't for the great guides (maybe I just go a good one?), I don't think this place would do very well on its own. . ..
