Update: Their phone number has been changed. After calling, I was told the new contact number is 414-275-2608. This is a classic Milwaukee diner-style spot built for quick, filling comfort food. Expect big portions, fast service, and that old-school diner feel the moment you walk in. Highlights: cheap, hearty meals, quick turnaround Downsides: older interior, can get busy and a bit chaotic read more

Classic family restaurant, with a wide menu. I've visited a number of times and they never disappoint, offers great nostalgia with its classic style and menu. The staff are always great. I ordered the pancake breakfast special which consists of an Order of pancakes, two eggs, and your choice of meat. It hit the spot, I love their pancakes especially! Others have said their soup is great, and their pasta looked really good. Definitely worth a visit, their prices are reasonable for the quality and experience. read more

The food was great and the service was even better. We ate here on a late Saturday morning just slightly before lunch. My daughter had a big giant hamburger that I didn't think she could eat and I had the Gyro Platter. We were served by Doxy Server #51. We learned of the sad news of Omegas closing in 5 months time to be replaced by a Bank of America. Although it was noisy and crowded when we arrived, we received our food hot and service with a smile. Good customer service is rare to find these days and a lost art in restaurants. Will miss coming to Omegas once they close. Nice touch getting the complimentary bread basket and the complimentary desserts with certain meals. Thanks Omega read more

This is your average American restaurant. We went here for breakfast. Lots of options, both savory and sweet. I got the cheese blintzes which were good. My boyfriend got the meat lovers omelet which I thought was better. Service was friendly and SUPER FAST. Our food came out within 15 minutes. I was shocked. read more

This restaurant came recommended from my brother's place of employment, and we came for a late lunch/early dinner. Parking is ample and love the Greek decor as soon as you enter. Staff is also warm and welcoming. They have quite an extensive menu, and the soup of the day was chicken or vegetable noodle. They also serve a bread basket and butter, and most entrees include a dessert, which the guys chose the Tres Leches cake. My brothers ordered the steak enchiladas with a choice of soup or salad. They chose salad. Hubby ordered steak fajitas with salad, and I ordered the New York strip steak sandwich with chicken noodle soup. The food portions are great. They put two huge onion rings in my sandwich, which I had never had before. It was tasty. Sorry, no pictures of the cake. Everyone was full and took it to go. This is a wonderful establishment with great staff and food. If you are in the area, stop in and grab a bite! read more

I have been going to this restaurant for years now and last year on thanksgiving I did my usual of going out to breakfast before cooking thanksgiving dinner like I have done forever and I noticed everyone around me ordering the thanksgiving dinner. So I thought that the next thanksgiving I would forgo breakfast for lunch and see why everyone was ordering the thanksgiving dinners with turkey because I next to never cook a turkey on thanksgiving. This is a nice Greek style restaurant and no dive. I did order a spicy Bloody Mary which was average which had no straw and disappointing because it's hard to drink a beverage full of small ice. Ok here's the run down on the thanksgiving dinner, choice of protein that includes turkey to salmon and much in between see my menu pix, bread basket, soup, choice of potato, dressing, gravy, cranberries and desert choice. I chose turkey, mashed potatoes, turkey dumpling soup and pumpkin pie as my meal only because I next to never have a traditional thanksgiving meal. The bread basket looked great because it had ciabatta style fresh rolls instead of boring dinner rolls, good job. The turkey dumpling soup was good but under seasoned like everything because it's cooked for the masses but salt is on the table. The dumplings were al dente and irregular which might be house made and hit the spot. The turkey plate looked amazing with gravy all over everything on the plate. The gravy was average and yellow while I prefer a more traditional brown gravy. The dressing was a soul food corn bread style that was way too loose/super wet for my taste. The mashed potatoes were dense with clumps letting you know that there real and no box. The turkey was excellent because it was a mix of dark and white meat, thank you because I like dark meat and it was real turkey because I had that stringy cartilage thing from the legs in my plate. All the turkey was moist and tender to my surprise. The cranberries were were skin in jamb style, not to sweet which I don't expect to be home made but did the job. Overall the thanksgiving dinner had pros and cons for my first restaurant in a very very long time and I can't even remember my last thanksgiving restaurant dinner. It's more 3.5 stars but 4 stars will be given because they executed a well attempt at home cooking most of the meal especially the fresh moist turkey and I might have a new respect for moist cooked turkey again. I had no service issues except that they were busy and my server did her best but couldn't give everyone all her attention, no harm no foul. read more

Great place for breakfast. This has been a go-to for me for 20+ years. So I wanted breakfast after my mani at 2 on a Sunday afternoon and I came to the Omega, the ubiquitous diner offering a little bit of something for everyone. I also wanted to relax and read The NY Times for a little while. Originally a Greek diner, it appears to be under Mexican ownership as Greek food is replaced with Mexican. There is still an EPIC menu including staples like liver and onions s and plates of meatloaf and cheeseburgers. April is easily the friendliest and best waitress in the restaurant. She uses a lot of "hello love" and sweetness in her vocabulary, and should adopt a cockney accent. Her service was amazing - efficient warm and friendly. I wanted breakfast and chose my usual, the Greek omelette. There are 4 eggs in every omelette. It was dense with tomatoes, feta, onion and gyro. Nice little cup of yoghurt cucumber sauce. Crackling crispy has browns. They got my toast wrong but no biggie. Kept the coffee flowing. Great food, but the omelette was a little dense for me. I guess I shouldn't complain about a packed-out omelet!!!!! All in all, this is a great casual dining place when you don't want fast food and you don't want to pay brunch prices. My meal cost $18.95, 13.99 for the omelette and 3.49 for coffee. I guess I don't eat out enough- really, 3.49 for lackluster The ambience is 1980s Greek diner - well kept up - and very lively with many families. It was fun to be here alone because of the sound of laughter and friendliness around me. I used this a rare opportunity to read the Sunday NY times, Relaxing place to hang out. I forget about coming here because the pandemic got me to prefer cooking in my kitchen. I'm a great cook and breakfast is easy to make. But sometimes you've got to treat yourself and the Omega is the perfect Sunday spot. Thanks April - great job!!!!!! read more

It's been maybe over 20 years since I last been in Omega. I have to say it brought back memories. So, let me get into it. The food is the same as I have always remembered it. It's always consistent and like my friend said, there is everything on the menu so anyone can find something they want to try. I got the Greek omelette. I really did like it! The service wasn't the best. I will give our waitress credit as it was pretty busy when we arrived. The atmosphere or ambiance like it call it was good. I will add in that the seating seemed like it hasn't changed in the many many years. Still very stiff and dated seating. Overall, anyone can find something on the menu to try at omega! read more

We come to Milwaukee from Texas once a year to work and this is the 3rd time that we visited Omega Restaurant and every time the food has been amazing! Today Erin was our waiter and she went beyond any regular waiter to please us. She took the time to talk with us even though she was busy. She was friendly and very professional! Each of us ordered an omelette that was delicious and also ordered the Blintz to share... the order was enough to share between 2-3 people and for us has been the best Blintzes that we have ever had, cooked to perfection! We already can't wait till next year to visit Omega again, see Erin and have the best Blintzes again :) read more

I love this place. I will never stop loving this place. You will not find better Omelettes. The gyro omelette or Greek omelette is my favorite. This is actually a review on both times this year that I've gone to Omega the first experience I'm going to talk about is the one that I had with my fiancé I know that I have definitely had more experiences alone here and I have never had a problem with the food ever, I actually think we had the same waitress, then that my mom and I had this last time I just haven't gotten out much to restaurants due to my unemployment, but my fiancé and I had the pasta the shrimp Alfredo to be exact and man it was a good portion. The shrimp was a good size as was the portion of the noodles you got so We were both impressed. Due to my health, I've been extremely thirsty so they were patient with my thirstiness of refilling, my water or my soda. My other experience was just this last week I believe it was this last Tuesday? We had been organizing my Storage and we've gotten done real late so we showed up at Omega and we both ordered the Reuben sandwich and although it was a little drier than I wanted it to be it was very very good and that they don't stinge on the meat, my drinks were taken care of, and even though being exhausted the food came at a good time it was another good experience. I think the staff is pleasant enough. I will definitely return, although they really need to do something about the homeless situation. There's always at least one guy sleeping on their bench outside. They should not just keep ignoring it. The city needs to get on that shit I get it they're homeless. But the city, even though they keep saying they've taken care of the situation they come back even worse than before but I know that entire situation is not something that Omega can do anything about, but what they could do is realize that they have a homeless migrant situation on their benches. read more

Ordered from the app for pickup. Came home and realized my order was messed up. Called and asked for a refund and was told I'd only receive 7 dollars back and the menu price is 15.99. Make it make sense how your guys' screw up doesn't result in my FULL refund?! This is exactly why I stopped ordering/going here after 20 years...constant order errors and the pest/bug issues this place has. Took another chance on them and wound up disappointed again. read more

The restaurant doesn't seem clean and also doesn't seem to know who they are. Such a strange mixture of items on the menu. Went with a Reuben and it was bland and not good at all. This place is slept on! You get so much food for your money. You definitely leave there full and satisfied. You can taste the flavor of your food and the service is great. I always get their ribs and shrimp basket. Their shrimp is fresh and the ribs fall off the bone!! Perfect crisp to them and the bbq is delicious. So happy they still have this option. This meal came with a potato side and dessert! Plenty of menu options and each choice comes out fresh and hot. As always, will come back. This place is one of my favorite places, they have some great portions of food, varieties of drinks. I had the Triple Decker Turkey Club with bacon, my son and his Girlfriend had the 8onz. Steak with sunny side and hashbrowns, toast. It was delicious. I love when they give you some hot soft bread to start the day, then when you order your plate of food you get soup, fries or fruits with it on the side. They have some great customer service, great atmosphere, some people wearing masks. Protocol is being followed and their workers wears masks and some didn't wear them cause I figure they put the vaccine already. Overall love this I've been coming to the place since me and family started coming here and order their great burgers, gyros and sandwiches. American food, Greek, brunch, breakfast, Mexican are the options they have. Good prices on everything I ate today, some great deals some on some of the plates. I highly recommend this place to everyone that has a big appetite. read more

This is your classic 24/7 dinner Greek owned, with a large menu which makes it hard at times to make a choice. Service is friendly and quick, and the coffee flows richly. I orders the almond crusted sea bass, which came with a soup--the cauliflower was my choice of the day. The soup was great, perfect to enjoy before my sea bass arrived. The sea bass also was excellent, loved it! Nicely done, not greasy at all, a nice light lunch, not too heavy on the stomach. Definitely a place I recommend for lunch hours. read more

This is a really nice restaurant with nice people. It has is ups and downs but overall it's a good place. The food is mostly always good but sometimes it's not. If you ever order from there and you decide to get the FRESH BROASTED TILAPIA, I would recommend getting it it's really good but I would recommend wearing a nose plug when enjoying this dish. It's not your normal fish smell. It's a smell that will definitely clear your sinuses and make your eyes sting a tiny bit. STAY AWAY!!!!! STINGY AS EVER!! Honestly, the quality of the restaurant has been declining. I went in on Friday around 4pm assuming it was going to be busy but to my surprise it wasn't! Long story short I should've pay attention to that first red flag. I ordered a horchata with no ice and got half of the glass filled up. According the the daughters owner its because it's suppose to be only filled up 12 oz. But yet they were still charging me full price for half a glass! I would understand if it was alcohol buts it just rice milk with cinnamon!! Another thing my family and I loved was the menu dinner: soup or salad, main entrée, and dessert- ice cream, rice pudding, or jello. Well now if you want a slice of cake you have to pay +4.00 extra!! read more

Typical run-of-the mill family restaurant except with a questionable health & safety track record. Food is mediocre, I'll avoid.

We came here late one night after a night out with friends. Our experience was fine enough. I'd come back if I were desperate enough after midnight. Our waitress was friendly and we were seated right away. The menu was extensive and overwhelming. They offered Mexican food, but no guac.... why? All they had were plain avocados, so I made my own. I ordered the fajita plate. When it came out, the knife had melted to the hot plate. No big deal, I didn't use it. Was it the best? No. But it was fine enough. My fiancé got cheddar broccoli soup that was cold and goopy. She used it as a spread on her bread. Her eggs and gyro meat seemed mediocre. Our friends hamburger melt seemed really good, but that's about it. Plenty of parking. Open late. Like I said, I'd go if I were desperate and with a group. Otherwise I'll just go to Wendy's. read more

*Just a tip* If you come here on Fridays or Saturdays after 2am, know what you're getting into because there are a lot of drunk people that come here for food. I don't think I've had a bad encounter with people here but just a heads up. I'm sure this is pretty much with any restaurant open past 2am. Now on with the actual review. I don't know if it's because I come here after a couple of drinks but each time I've been here the food has been great for the price. I've had the mozzarella sticks, shrimp enchiladas and the shrimp chimichangas all in various different trips there. All of them of were phenomenal especially the chimichangas in which I think that will be my go to dish whenever I come back there. Most of the dishes here come with a soup or salad. I usually ask for the soup to dip the free warm bread (this bread is amazing and pairing it with their cream of broccoli is the bomb.com). From what I know their late night menu is different then their normal lunch/dinner menus and this place is open 24/7. The staff is great, the food is splendid and because of that I will be back here many times in the future. read more

Food here is no-frills good, huge portions served by friendly and efficient staff that synchronize like clockwork. I stopped in here to start my 10 day vacation after a visit to my eye doctor. My eyes were dilated and I was slightly discombobulated, driving my convertible in the full-on sun. Ducking in for breakfast gave my eyes a break with the bonus of a good meal. It didn't take me long to peruse the menu and pick the California omelet from the breakfast specials. It was so good. Loads of veggies and cheese topped with avocado. Mmm mmm.
