They did a great job and we get maintenance every year! With that said, I decided to continue using Evergreen as my annual maintenance company for my HVAC unit. Their service technicians are fantastic...always prompt and efficient. As part of the service, the technician installs a filter that's included in the cost of the service. I have a Honeywell system, and anything less than the exact size of 20x20x4" ends up being cockeyed in the return duct. Most generic filters are sometimes at least 1/4" smaller on all sides, so they do not fit securely in the bracket. During the last visit, the tech installed a generic filter. I didn't discover it until a couple months later when an alert popped up in my calendar reminding me to change the filter. It was indeed not seated correctly due to its size being smaller, and it essentially wasn't "filtering" my air at all for the two months since the service. I called Evergreen for a proper replacement, which the tech delivered later in the week. Same problem - too small, as it wasn't a Honeywell. I pointed it out to the tech and he said he is aware of the issue and will have a correct one delivered. Two weeks later, still no replacement so I called the office and was told that if I wanted a Honeywell I would have to pay for it. Funny, but in the previous 4 years I've had an exact-sized replacement included as part of the annual service. And when I suggested that my annual service should be reduced if a proper filter isn't included, I was advised that they couldn't... Poor response, as after 15 years of consistent annual services of which 5 were mine, I'll be looking for another company...

When I had trouble with my heat pump, Brent was the only one out there who took the time to really listen to me, gave me excellent advice, then his son Braden came out to complete the job. Like father like son---great customer service, transparent (no hidden costs or upselling) great expertise, , great value, great guys to deal with and be around. Six stars with five being the best. And now they have family friend, Enzo, joining them. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

As of April 13th, I am still being double charged and the issue has not been resolved. I have been flexible and willing to work with them, but the owner Mark and the sales guy Loren made that impossible. Loren will say anything to close a deal. The lack of oversight is staggering. They refused to do a walkthrough with the installer and seller, which led to two heat pumps being installed incorrectly. They had to be moved, and that caused even more damage to my home. They also charged my credit card while "charging" a Synchrony loan, so I have been effectively double-charged for months. Now they refuse to speak on the phone and only send haphazard email replies that never resolve anything. They promised to fix the drywall in writing. This was necessary to repair their own mistakes and because I preferred to have the electrical work go through the house, which they agreed to. Instead, they sent a third-party worker and then demanded a massive payment for the repair. They eventually gave me a payment to cover the drywall fixes myself, which I am grateful for, but even that took over 3 months of fighting. The actual installers and electricians were amazing. They should go find a new job at another installer with actual integrity. My problem is entirely with Mark and Loren. Since they use AI for their reviews, expect a fake reply from Max below. Save your sanity and hire a company that won't hold your money hostage.

We…read morehad to beg them to cover the exposed lines in the garage and to tape over messy connection points. Errors abound after install that they had lots of trouble resolving. Due to a misdirected email that we weren't supposed to be on, we saw that what they tell customers is different from what they discuss internally. System cools when there's no need to cool and heats when there's no need to heat. Register blows cold air in the winter when the system is in heating mode. Technicians have no idea how to fix any of it, and repeatedly make the problem worse (and then go radio silent) when they come for a service call. Go somewhere else.

Why did I agree to the third appointment? Because the owner promised us a full refund PLUS $1000 if they didn't show for the last appointment. Despite them not showing for the last appointment, and sending me an email stating they would be sending me a check, it never showed up. I've tried calling, texting, and emailing them to resolve the issue, but they're definitely ignoring the problem. This was months ago, and to date, I've not received the service we paid for, received a refund, or even received a reply about the issue. We're now out hundreds of dollars, and I missed three full days of work for nothing.

Tech, Hagen was very nice and professional and made sure to answer all of my questions. Kudos to the office staff, Brittny, Erin and everyone who took my calls while I was eagerly waiting for parts & repair. They treated me very kindly and proactively communicated each step of the way. I hired Lifetime after my Trane AC (installed 2021) started tripping. Paid multiple diagnosis fees…read morewith no resolution. In 2024 they replaced the TXV but never assessed whether the prolonged TXV failure had damaged the compressor -- which is standard practice after such a repair. After the TXV replacement I reported the same symptoms again. Techs came out, found nothing, cleared the system. I was also enrolled in and paying their monthly maintenance program during this entire period. On the third visit they finally diagnosed a failed compressor -- and their own technician's written report states the TXV failure damaged the compressor. The warranty is valid through July 16. Despite this, both the manager and owner denied warranty coverage and are comfortable with me filing complaints -- so that's exactly what I'm doing with Washington State L&I, the Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division, the BBB, and Trane corporate directly. If you're a homeowner considering their maintenance program, ask specifically what they document and check on every visit. I paid monthly fees expecting my system to be monitored -- a developing compressor failure went undetected across multiple visits.
