We stopped at Olympia Coffee about 1/2 way to our stroll to the Farmers' Market. We got an iced coffee, a hot London Fog, and the seasonal Delicate. The Delicate sounded a little strange, but that's kind of my jam. If the flavor profile sounds weird together, but I like all the flavors, I usually give it a try. The Delicate is an iced black peach tea with Pistachio milk. It is delicious!! I did not get to go back and take a picture of the menu because the line was out the door once we got our drinks. It's a very neat and clean cafe and if it wasn't so busy and we weren't on our way to the market we would have stayed and enjoyed our drinks there. Highly recommend!
I am not a coffee drinker so the coffee portion of this review is based on my cousin's opinion. My cousin loves Olympia coffee. Prior to her visiting me from out of town, i had bought her two different coffee bean bags from Olympia (i had done some research amongst friends and coworkers and they consistently said great things about Olympia Coffee) - Sweetheart and Morning Sun. So visiting Olympia Coffee was one of the places I wanted to take her to while she was in town. We came to this West Seattle location because we were going to have dinner in the area. This location is smaller than the one in Columbia City but still very cute and cozy. There's some bar seating on the inside and there's some outdoor seating for nicer weather days. My cousin ordered the pour over of the Gatta Natural coffee which the barista recommended to her. I ordered an herbal tea. The pour over is done on a cool looking machine and it's cool that they do pour overs - we went to a couple of coffee shops while she visited and this was the only one that did pour over - otherwise it was just a drip/brew. My tea came out quickly and my cousin's pour over took a couple minutes longer. Since we were drinking our beverages at the shop, the drinks came in real mugs which i loooooved. And my cousin said the coffee was so so so good! Really great coffee, real mugs, cute space, and great customer service!
I wish I lived in West Seattle still so I could come here more often. Such a treat every time we can visit. Staff is always inviting and nice. Sometimes I'll try their seasonal drinks but usually I just stick with a mocha and they never let me down. Such a vibe. Keep it up.
Still consistently my most recommended coffee shop in Seattle and a frequent stop when I am anywhere near West Seattle. You can't beat a morning of picking up a coffee from Olympia and taking a nice walk along Alki in the summer morning sun. As the colder months move in there are plenty of warm drinks to keep you toasty and I have to shout out a mocha I got there recently as one of best I've ever had, just the right balance of richness without being too sweet.
Huge fan of Olympia Coffee. I was in the area for work and found this cute little gem in the neighborhood. Delicious cold brew and great place to sit, relax, and catch up on some work. Not the biggest space, but they utilize the space very well. A few small tables inside, and counter along the windows. Additional seating outside in the front and side of the business. Parking was easy on the side street, not sure what its normally like. It was a Sunday afternoon.
Service was great and the latte was delicious! The shop itself is pretty small and has limited seating but there are also tables on the patio. I got a little bit of work done from here and the volume was at a good level for it but I feel like it might hit or miss for seating depending on how crowded it is!
Ambiance is lovely. Even though the space is smaller it doesn't feel claustrophobic and there is plenty of seating inside and outside. Coffee was DELICIOUS, and though I held myself back, the pastries looked tasty as well. Definitely will be returning.
I stopped here one morning because I needed a spot to hang out while my car was getting worked on. Friendly staff and super quick service! I can tell this must be a cherished spot in the neighborhood because while I was in there for just a minute or two, there were multiple interactions of staff seeing their regular customers and even regular customers greeting each other! I got an iced vanilla latte that was very yummy and not too sweet.
Great coffee. Highly recommend the mocha. They use dark chocolate so it is not too sweet. The service and ambiance are very nice too.
This is a good shop to buy beans or get the traditional basic coffees, or try their seasonal drinks. More hot coffee focused but do offer a great iced matcha. Some outdoor seating. About two tables. Gets some natural light. Not a coffee shop where you'd study or work, but a good meet up spot for an hour or so. I always hope one day a shop will focus on or make iced coffees with as much creativity as hot but a girl can dream.. Good: seasonal warm coffees. They had one last winter that was chocolate and orange that I really liked. Has a nice iced matcha that tastes like when I make it at home. Matcha is harder to find than it should be. Not great: completely skip the cold brew. It's horrendous--and from a can. It has no flavor and basically tasted like water. Believe it or not, I've yet to find a better cold brew than Starbucks. It is their shining star that most coffee drinkers haven't tried.
The staff here were so friendly and great to chat with! They were quick to prepare my drink. The lavender latte is delicious with the perfect note of lavender. I would definitely go back. The drink was worth and the customer service!
Super small but modern coffee shop. We had stopped by because my partner had wanted to try the beans they used and give them a chance. It was pretty crowded inside, but we were able to find a seat rather quickly. I got one of their seasonal specialty lattes. Although it looked absolutely gorgeous, the fruit flavor was definitely lost. My partner got a pour over and was not impressed either. They also had cute little stickers available for purchase! We picked up a couple of cats with coffees. So far, stickers have been high quality and durable. Overall, would come again if I was in the area, but probably wouldn't go out of my way.

I stumbled across this cute coffee shop while I was killing some time in West Seattle! It's just a tiny storefront with just a few two-person tables and a long sitting bar along the window for more guests. The baristas were so friendly and greeted us right away when we walked in. They had the regular coffee shop fares: espresso, lattes, nitro cold brews, and even a variety of pour-over coffees. My typical drink is a latte, but they had a few spring special drinks that caught my eye instead! I decided to try their purple rain, which was an ube italiano topped with ube whipped cream! I love ube and this was a lovely balance of rich coffee flavor with the sweet whipped cream! Yum! I'm curious what's on deck for the summer specials! In terms of parking, there is plenty of free street parking or even residential parking close by as well! I would recommend checking this place out if you're either needing a java kick or looking for a place to work for a few hours! read more
Better latte than never. I drove past this place so many times and finally decided to stop by a few weeks ago. It is now my new favorite place to sit and drink coffee. Located in West Seattle. They don't have a parking lot but I find parking right outside every time. Although it is small and cozy, the big windows bring in natural sunlight and the clean white, marbled and wood interior with tiny succulent plants everywhere just brings me so much joy. The coffee is delicious and strong and I always feel like I get an extra kick of energy after drinking their coffee. They also serve pastries and my favorite cookies from Lowrider bakery. Calabria $5 5oz: A seasonal drink for the winter. The rose petals smelled lovely. The coffee tasted good, sweet but not too sweet. You do taste a hint of citrus from the Bergamot syrup. Photo Mention: - Matcha Latte $4.75 12oz ***** My Star Ratings: 1 Star - Terrible. Just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars - Meh. Unlikely for me to return. 3 Stars - OK. Open to coming back, but wouldn't go out of my way to. 4 Stars - Yummy! Will definitely return if I haven't already. 5 Stars - AMAZING!!! Would plan my day or even a trip around eating here. read more

I live in West Seattle and have driven by Olympia Coffee 100's of times with the comment "I am going to go there soon!" After seeing how busy the shop has been I knew it had to be special. The moment you walk in you feel a Positive Vibe!! The people that work there have so much pride in their Craft. Each cup is crafted to perfection. Here's a picture of my drink " Theo's Mocha!" Outstanding!!! So glad you are in the neighborhood. read more

I so wanted to love this place, but I can only give it a meh at best. There was a very short line, but one barista was so busy talking to the people in front of us we waited a crazy amount of time. Then, the barista who took our drink orders was condescending. If ever there were a place feeding the unfortunate stereotype of the Seattle coffee scene, this was my experience at Olympia. And I've had a lot of great coffee all over the world where I was treated kindly even when I needed help figuring out an order. And it may have been a little excused except the coffee wasn't that great and everything had a strange "soy" flavor to it. I had a splash of Almond milk in my Americano, but that wasn't what caused the flavor. Glad I tasted the coffee before I bought a whole bag of beans. I hate when I can't recommend a business, especially a small local business, but with so many great other local coffee options, you can skip this spot. read more
Found this little coffee place as we were in the neighborhood. I have been a loyal customer of their roasted beans for my espresso for many years so it's a must to stop by and pay tribute to the store. It's a tiny yet modern space, with light wood paneling full of Scandinavian vibes. We had cappuccino and they were good, it would be wonderful if the froth can stay a bit longer. I love how they serve espresso drink the Italian way, with a glass of San Pellegrino. Love it. The barista is super friendly and talked to me with their bean selection and preferences. Went home with beans :) Love the place and def will be back. read more

I just moved to west seattle and found this little coffee shop. Their coffee is good, I've gotten a drip coffee both times I've been and satisfied with it. What keeps me coming back are their pastries! Their chocolate croissant is TO DIE FOR. I tried their gruyere pull apart and it was delicious, with ooey gooey cheese in the middle. And the almond croissant was also wonderful! read more

Great coffee in a busy, but serene tree lined neighborhood. I had a mocha and S had the seasonal haupa latte, she loved it. There's a few 2-seater tables on the sidewalks, but currently during COVID, it's only walk up to order. Parking is ok on the street, but we did have to drive around the block to find a spot. This would be my spot if I lived in this neighborhood! read more

Stopped in this little shop while I was visiting a dog friend, and it was adorable! Shop is tiny, and the first thing you notice is the cool rainbow coffee on the wall. I wasn't in the mood for caffeine so I got an iced tea that was delish. The barista who helped me (Ian) was friendly and chatty, which I always appreciate. Will definitely be back and next time will probably try one of the yummy looking cookies! read more

This place is great! The prices are incredible too, paid $11 for a pastry and two lattes (one was a triple shot!) the pastries are insanely amazing - I gave four stars bc they don't have soy milk and can only put a splash of heavy cream not make a heavy cream latte (keto person here) other than that everything was great - coffee taste is on point and latte art always is a win and the staff is really friendly and will take the time to explain coffee types to u read more

Went twice yesterday and today. Yesterday I ordered 12oz. Latte with quad shot and cost me $6. Today I asked for 8oz with extra shot and it cost me $6. Listed price for 8oz regular latte is $4.25 and 12oz regular latte is $4.75. Go figure. Espresso shot here is weak but has better flavor than Hotwire. Will walk further to Uptown Espresso or Lula next time for better coffee. read more
