It's tucked inside the apartment community near the mailboxes, so drive or walk slowly or you might miss it. The prices are hard to beat, especially in today's economy. I always order the vanilla latte made with half-and-half and their house-made vanilla syrup, and it's consistently perfect. My order is always accurate, and the coffee is smooth, flavorful, and never disappoints. There is limited indoor seating, but plenty of outdoor seating if you want to relax and enjoy your drink. Between the outstanding customer service, delicious coffee, and unbeatable prices, this spot has earned a loyal customer. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and check it out you won't be disappointed!

There is a small parking lot but it's a little awkward to get into. Mostly street parking. Cars drive pretty fast down the road so playing frogger is a risk. Curb is high, watch when opening the door. Very small shop with limited seating inside and out. More of a grab and go spot. Definitely not a work from the cafe place. Note that all drink sizes come with two espresso shots. You are paying for more milk when getting a larger size. Place wasn't busy when I went and staff were chatting, had to wait at register until they finished their conversation for them to take my order. Drinks were ready quickly. Tried: Haupia Matcha $7 - good I liked the coconut foam. Bananarama $5.50 - good banana flavor. Brioche breakfast sandwich $10 - the egg was cold/middle of sandwich was cold. I asked them to reheat it but they couldn't because I had taken a bite so they had to make a new one. Second one was warm throughout. Wasn't really a fan of the sandwich flavors. Pumpkin latte w/cold foam $7.50 - just okay Champ $6 - was given a hard time about getting this iced. Not sure if it's supposed to be more like a cappuccino? It was okay.

DW is a great little shop/ roastery tucked in a corner of a shopping plaza with a large grocery store and some other small, local spots. DW has a fun, retro vibe to their decor and merch. The baristas are always SO kind and friendly! The owner, Mike, is also super outgoing and welcoming. Everyone is always willing to give me recommendations, which have all been yummy for me. I don't drink coffee/espresso (I know!), but it always smells and looks amazing. Mike roasts the coffee beans himself! What I can say is their matcha is top notch. They use a ceremonial grade powder that is smooth, creamy, and so so yummy in their lattes. The shop also has absolutely stellar syrups and flavors that are made in-house. The combination of such high quality ingredients lends itself to delicious drinks consistently. I've only had a few food items, but they've been really great too! Special shout out to the banana bread for sure. Overall, Dreamwave is consistently awesome! The baristas provide excellent service, food, and drinks. The shop itself has a great vibe and cool merch. I couldn't ask for more, which is why it's a fave for me that I share with all my friends!

I get it every single time im here. I'd also recommend the Mexican iced chocolate latte. It's also strong yet sweetened to perfection. The service here is always good and the employees always greet you. I like to come here to study and just sit outside to take in the morning air. I love the view of cowles mountain as well. It's a great spot if you wanna study, they have free wifi if you purchase something so that's a plus. I recommend trying the cinnamon roll latte!

I like the roasting profile they use, and for a while, they've stocked a Costa Rica Sonora Black-Honey Natural that is just fantastic. Joe Paraiso, the owner, is a very experienced coffee purveyor, and he's been incredibly kind to me, sharing his time and knowledge to make sure I get what I want. And, not for nothing, when I'm at Brew Coffee Spot picking up the beans I ordered online, I always have a coffee. Joe either does a great job of training his baristas, or he's REALLY good at hiring talent, or both. Seriously... his folks make my coffees, usually a cortado or a straight espresso, with a downtown San Francisco or Rome level of competence.
