I can't speak about the kitchen as far as what's brought to us, but when I order some thing with, for example, jalapeños, and no jalapeños arrive, is that a Service thing or a kitchen thing that remains to be not?. It's a beautiful location and the evening bartenders. I don't know. Their names are amazing. But you come early. It's hidden mess. They're too busy interacting with each other and I said there with an empty drink while they're having a conversation.

And why you might ask, am I reviewing it now? Because they failed me again. Like a boyfriend promising you a fabulous date, but he forgets to put gas in the car and you end up walking miles in the rain. I found this place tucked away in a corporate center. It's not a large place, but it feels expansive. Dark with high ceilings. Tables spaced generously. Large semicircular booths like in old Hollywood movies. All bathed in the glow of the wood fire pizza oven. Such a lovely respite on a hot summer day. They also have a lovely patio for outdoor dining, just not our thing. Service is usually great, no glaring missteps. Every visit starts with bread and olive oil. As noted earlier partner gets the same dish. I have tried a lot, but nothing hits for me. The Summer corn agnolotti was so small it should be an appetizer. The salads just miss for me and then I had the shrimp scampi appetizer. Four perfectly fine shrimp. Didn't expect that much broth, but OK. That beautifully grilled bread could have been rested on top, but no. It was floating in the broth weighted down by the shrimp and soon all but dissolved into mush. So you can see that I am the problem. Partner loves that dish and this place, you probably will too.

Located in a super cute small town along the water with on street parking along the main drag way, as well as a designated parking area. There is indoor seating, as well as outdoor seating. This place gets busy and you will figure out why once you come. We did have reservations so call if possible. The menu is chock full of choices. There's a wide range of offerings so you will find plenty of options. Bread and butter starts your lovely journey into taste bud adventures. We started with their famous Vinny's crab balls which were tasty little gems. For food, we ordered the prime rib special which was absolutely massive and cooked to perfection. The chicken Chesapeake was deliciousness. Also ordered the liver and onions which was just as amazing as the previous too. If you like liver get this!!! Every dish came with two sides. Baked potatoes, sautéed zucchini and fried zucchini (get this) were ordered. Also had the cole slaw (so good) and some tasty sweet potato fries. There wasn't one thing out on our table that wasn't good. Seriously. The value you get for what you pay is astonishing. Literally. No notes. You will be shocked at the quality and quantity of what you are getting for what you are paying. They do have a tempting dessert menu/case. We couldn't fit it after these portions! We took some to go boxes that had enough leftovers for another meal. Should have gotten dessert to go. Don't make our mistake! Go out of your way for this place!! You will be a regular once you have this dining experience. Laid back and down home with some fabulous food.

The tasty order of spaghetti and meatballs could've fed a family of four so we had leftovers to try and fit in our hotel fridge [bad problem to have, right? ;)]. While the side salads were fresh, they were mostly iceberg lettuce with a single slice of tomato as well as a single slice of cucumber and a few pieces of red onion. The flatbread was really good, but would've been better warm; again, likely the result of third party delivery service. Hubby enjoyed the cannoli and would order again. Next time we are in the Newark area, we'd likely order from here again, but maybe dine in versus delivery.

We ordered straight out meals- Tortorlini à la vodka, and Gnocchi Pomo. The ambiance was so lovely, sweet and a real feeling of being in a restaurant in Capri Italy! Our waitress, the same who greeted us, was a hoot! She brought out our food and refilled our water glasses to the top! Loved it! Wow everything tasted fresh, delicious and so Italian!! The Gnocchi was soft, the sauce had a nice kick to it and the topping of cream was so flavorful, wished for more!! My mouth watering now as I type lol! The only bad thing was no bread basket to sop up all that good sauce! The tortolini was fresh tasting too. You could really taste the difference between dry tortolini and fresh kind! I don't fancy vodka sauce but must say this was good! This plate was also topped with that delicious dollop of cream . The price of pasta dishes compared to portions was on the higher end. It was just the pasta no vegetables or protein. Food was delicious but wouldn't come back as it's not in my budget.

Fast-forward to this week and find out upon arrival they updated menu while back and never updated the website. Almost every one of the delicious items that we ordered in May were gone there was no chicken dish, and the prices of everything had gone up significantly. Burrata, Caesar salad, sangria very good. However fusilli with sweet sausage was actually hot / spicy sausage and didn't have much flavor. Tortellini was a huge disappointment. Shrimp dish was ok but really heavy noodles / pasta I actually didn't order an entree. Environment and ambience are nice but spending couple hundred dollars and not getting what we were so looking forward too was extremely disappointing. Others did not want to leave bc we already sat down otherwise there a several other great options right by. Call and confirm their menu - I asked them to update website.
