Was move in day, so once we got our daughter settled, decided to grab some lunch. The restaurant is casual and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We ordered three 12 inch pizzas (plain, pepperoni, and coastal blush which is pictured). I was extremely intrigued by the coastal blush, felt that it was a very creative idea (shrimp, crispy calamari, pickled cherry peppers, cherry tomatoes, vodka sauce, and parmesan cheese). It as well as the other two pies were fantastic!!!! Next trip down there will be stopping in to try some of the other pies. read more

Enjoyed checking out Pizzeria Mariana for the first time. Every time we go past it looks like there are always customers rolling in and out so it must be popular. The sizes of the pizza were perfect. The style was thin crust, and about personal pan size which was just enough so that you can eat half and share the half with a friend. So we got to try out the white and the Margherita. They were definitely generous with the cheese on the white which was nice, and the crust was just slightly burnt enough where it tasted like a traditional brick oven pie. The vibes inside were nice and the wait time was not super long. All in all I enjoyed, and will be excited to return again to try out some of their other pizzas! read more

I recommend the Owner tell whoever answers the phone to not lead with "it'll be a 35-40 minute wait." That made me call Cacciatore's. Bring back the salad with the grapes and blue cheese, please. Otherwise, pizza is good. Could be crispier. Recommend the Spicy Italian. read more

The pizza was not very good at all. The crust was way too doughy and the meatball was incredibly dry. The cheese was very off, it was dry and tasted fake. The garlic bread was just a lazy pizza with no sauce and was disappointing despite being free. All of that on top trying to automatically put a 20% tip on a takeout order (which is crazy). Whoever is answering your phones deserves a raise. First, she knew that Door Dash wasn't working and directed me to Uber and Slice. I couldn't get service from those in my area but your food rocks so my wife agreed to pick up the order. BTW! I was so disappointed that Stone Balloon BUTCHERED your SC Recipe before they finally just took it off the menu. Apparently home made cava pasta is just too much work.! Anyways... I only went there for that dish.. so I won't be back. Ok, So when I couldn't get a delivery I called back to place the order, and during so I asked for a topping on a pizza. She knew that the oil would make the pizza soggy and cautioned against it. Thinking back, I last ordered that pizza from DD with that same topping and it actually was soggy. She knows the menu well enough to know what can turn a guest experience sideways. That is rare. I could have used 10 people just like her when I opened my first restaurant. I've been in the restaurant industry for 30 years. Great help is impossible to find. It's the literal unicorn. I don't know who this person was but they were exceptional. This pizza was not good. The sauce was too sweet and had no Italian seasoning. It tasted like the frozen pizza you get from the grocery store. Is this really Brick oven?? Exceptional service and food! My family had just left a swim meet at the university and we were craving pizza before driving to Philly. Even though we walked in when they were closing up, the staff kindly took our order and allowed us to enjoy a sit down meal. Ordered the margarita pie and a plain pie--delicious! We don't usually eat crust but we all did that day. The meal was topped off with a cookie butter gelato. If it's still available, definitely a must. read more

The pizza is good and it's not like a fancy restaurant it's like a fast food environment you order at the cashier and go sit down anywhere and they bring you fresh pizza. You can also watch them make the pizza and if you get lucky you might see them throw the dough in the air. Also they give kids dough for them to play with and the stay is super friendly. read more

Was excited to try this restaurant after having watched the Pressure Cooker show. I noticed the show was running on one of the tv screens. As I left the restaurant, my first thought was how light my containers were for $31. Plus tip. First, there's 2 menus online and they differ slightly. I ordered Robbie's Crispy Calamari and the small Margherita pizza. The calamari, all 15 pieces for $16, was not crispy even after putting it under the broiler. The breading was thick and flavorless. The vinaigrette was missing from the container. The dipping sauce was a fresh tomato sauce which was the same as on the pizza was very good. The pizza had a good amount of mozzarella on it but I wonder if it was really fresh mozzarella. It was very tough and chewy. The crust was crispy and nicely charred around the edges but the bottom was soggy. Again, the sauce was very good. The basil was ok but it did dry out in the hot oven. It was not topped with any roasted garlic as one menu claims. If there was a drizzle of EVOO on it, I couldn't tell. It just seemed to me that the quality was lacking and the prices were high. The service was polite. Not sure why there's been only 5 reviews. I may give the restaurant another visit and hope my experience is better. I wish Robbie good luck with the business. read more
