Very good pizza, great service, nice people. My only complaint --- no anchovies! I order takeout only. I haven't tried delivery.

The Alfredo was super creamy and the breadsticks were really good. Super pleased with their efficiency and packaging.

A Farewell to Cecilton Pizza Permanently Closed (Early…read more2026) A Community Staple For years, Cecilton Pizza served as a reliable cornerstone for the local community. It was the kind of place that defined small-town dining--dependable, friendly, and deeply integrated into the daily life of Cecil County. Whether it was a quick lunch for local workers or a Friday night tradition for families, its presence on Main Street was a constant. The shop was known for its "no-frills, high-quality" approach to classic Italian-American comfort food. Beyond their signature pizzas, they were well-regarded for their generous subs and specialty items that catered to a wide range of tastes. In an era where many establishments move toward automation, the "Pizzaria" maintained a hand-crafted feel that resonated with its loyal customer base. Beyond the food, the establishment was recognized for its local spirit. With its support for first responders and military veterans, the atmosphere was one of genuine hospitality and community pride. It was a place where neighbors could run into each other, and the staff often knew their regulars by name. The closure of Cecilton Pizza a few months ago has left a void in the local landscape that will be difficult to fill. It will be remembered not just for its menu, but for its role as a welcoming gathering spot that treated every customer like a neighbor. It remains a prime example of the classic American hometown pizzaria.

Our…read morefriend had heard good things about the pizza and had been wanting to try it for a couple of months. He absolutely loved it and is already planning to go back again soon. The pizza really was terrific - great dough, great sauce, and a good amount of toppings and cheese. We ordered the belly buster, which according to the menu was supposed to be ground beef, sweet peppers, onions and mushrooms (we asked for black olives instead of the peppers). When it came out, it also had huge slices of pepperoni and small slices of sausage. We like pepperoni and sausage just fine, but I was looking forward to the ground beef (I grew up on homemade ground beef pizzas) and it was a little overpowered by the pepperoni. Still a great pizza though. We also had some potato skins - they were good but green onions are a must for me so I was sad they weren't on there. I suppose I could have asked after the fact, but didn't think about it. They were still good - I just adore the onion flavor with the potatoes, bacon and cheese. Anyway, it was a nice lunch with a beautiful view. We enjoyed it and will be back again.

I love pizza and when it's not the real thing, I'm unhappy. And LIPS pizza has always been the real thing...until today. The suspicion started when our pizza was not searingly hot, even though we arrived at the 20 min mark on a busy night, the appointed time for pick up. It should have been volcanic, and the short ride home would mean it would still be quite warm. The box wasn't super hot. It was barely warm 15 min later. The bottom crust was uniformly and very burnt. The green peppers were soggy. The sausage was not very brown. So (Sherlock Holmes here) someone put pre-cooked green peppers, a few (not enough) pellets of sausage, threw it back in the oven and called it a day. No cheese pull, in fact cheese came off in hard plaques. This indicates the cheese had congealed previously (it's hard to reheat cheese to get the same consistency.) The burnt flavor wasn't great and the soggy congealed top was not great either. If you're going to be busy, I'm HAPPY TO WAIT. For a fresh pie. Not this.
