The food was very good. I had the meatball Parmesan. I bought it three times now. i'm going to try there other products too.

Honey mustard chicken pizza where to begin sounds weird especially on a pizza, but honestly it was as good as a Wendy's frosty and McDonald's fry's from the 90s before they changed the oil recipe, I'm not saying it's just good it went down faster than a fat kid on a seesaw will definitely recommend and try again. read more

Always fast during lunch rush, best pizza in Elkton! Don't forget to grab an order of cannolis!

"Get back here, Koopa! Don't you know vegetables are good for you?" Super Mario Vegetables are good for you, especially if said vegetable is an eggplant, breaded, fried, smothered in sauce and covered in cheese, and served on fresh bread! While I am a vegetarian, The fact that I am also a cigar smoking, beer drinking type should probably clue you in that I'm not a health nut. (Although I do own a nutribullet) The eggplant parmigiana sub here was a great lunch especially with my side order of a pizza slice. The pizza is a very good thin crust. It would be a true NY Style if The slices were a bit larger and a tad greasier. "Now go home and eat some vegetables, Dr. Mario's orders!" Mario read more

Great food, family owned, great atmosphere, and good prices! And if you have a special request, it's usually very simple to fulfill!

Great pizza, friendly staff. Love the decor inside as well. Overall good vibes and great food.

The food quality is mediocre and the employees are smug and disrespectful. I stopped going there years ago and wouldn't buy a bottled water from them. They have a very poor understanding have the value in developing long term customer relationships. Thank goodness they provide the same food items dozens of other businesses in the area do. You have a choice, pick a different business. These folks think you should take what they give you and be happy with it. read more

Friendly fast and good. Daily specials but my boyfriend always comes back and gets the salad and a slice of pizza. Take out or eat in read more

Tried to order at 10 when they said they close at 10:30. They refused to take my order because they wanted to go home

I called at 10 menu says 1030 they answered and told me no to taking my order and delivering it

Ordered 2 crab cakes with fries and slaw. The food wasn't nasty, however I had to rate it 3 stars due to the fact that there was entirely too much filler in the crab cakes. That's star of the meal. There was hardly any lump meat to be considered market price worthy. I strongly suggest that there be a modification in the recipe. read more

I purchased dinner to take home yesterday evening. I ordered 3 breadsticks, which I was told just needed heating up and would be out to me. The breadsticks were terrible - burnt, hard as a rock and not edible. The hamburger I got was good. The small salad had wilted, brown around the edges lettuce, sparse cukes and no tomatoes. I won't be returning. read more

These guys replaced Rosa's Pizza in Cherry Hill Plaza. They have a LOT of variety and recently added a sit down area for dining in! This is one of the only places I've ordered a chicken cheesesteak where they actually use freshly shredded chicken!! They have really good pizza, too... Give them a try, I'm sure they'll satisfy! read more

The pizza wasn't what made this experience special. What was the real game changer about Mario's was the titular Mario himself. With equanimity and grace, Mario sauntered down the aisle like an eight grader at a ballerina rehearsal. I brought my own sauce. But my saucy host brought the heat. The moment he availed his beady eyes to me, I could practically taste the delicious pizza in his soul. "Give me your everything," I said. But as he began to violently remove his shirt, I clarified: "No, the pizza." read more

Food is absolutely amazing, anything you order from pizza to cheesesteaks/ subs & the delicious authentic Italian dinners! Can never go wrong has something for the whole family! read more

Pizza is delicious, however the customer service is consistently poor. I've been in this restaurant during high traffic periods of the day and slow days when there was no other business; the level of service is unacceptable. The owner should address this with the employees because I'm sure this impacts the business. If I could find a restaurant similar in taste I would not frequent this location. read more

Mario's is my go to local pizza spot. Food is always good, and the 2 large cheese pizzas for 19.99 is a family favorite. I'm a big fan of their pepperoni and cheese calzone. The staff is always friendly and the prices are reasonable. Love supporting a local business versus a big chain store. They've definitely earned my repeat business time and time again. You can get pizza the slice too. If they have it that day, you gotta try the bbq chicken bacon pizza or the chicken bacon ranch. Good size slices. Try to call and order versus using the slice app. The app raises the price to make a profit. Either call in or stop by. read more

Really a shame that the pizza is the best pizza in our area but they can't deliver it so it is edible...... I ALWAYS invite the driver in so they can see how they ruin our dinner...... tonight's pizza had all of the cheese slid into the corner of the box and when I asked the driver to look at his handiwork, he merely cared only about his 5 dollar tip, quickly rushing out knowing he had ruined our pizza. They use to have a young lady delivering pizzas who was careful so when I would open the pizza in front of her she looked knowing she had been careful but the redhead kid who just left here raced out of here obviously knowing he must of carried the pizza on its side. You would think he'd apologize or say wow, it really looks gross..... but he doesn't care,..... he's not having to eat it...... I guess he feels he can carry more pizzas if he carries them on their sides...... I've had enough....... can't count on the one girl, who cares....... to make our delivery....... so I'll just go get my own and if I'm going to pick it up, it will be Woodfired Pizza in Newark DE They've ruined enough of our dinners..... and obviously don't care!! read more

Delicious local restaurant that goes beyond pizza! Owner works the kitchen and never had a bad dish or experience here. Support the local businesses! read more

I am from the Philly area where there are many great Pizza Places. Marylanders generally have to suffer with less than great Pizza. But no more. Mario's Pizza in Elkton is excellent. I am in Perryville and drive 30 minutes to Elkton for this pizza. The crust is thin and crispy but not brunt - very good. The cheese and the good (expensive kind ) and the sauce is clearly made at the store by Mario who is from Italy. read more

Love this place. It's our "go to" neighborhood pizza/wings/sub spot. Usually order pickup and it's always ready when they say it will be and when we've used the delivery service it's quick and friendly. read more

Love Mario's! This place is owned and ran by an authentic Italian man, Mario! My husband and I joke calling him Tony Soprano! I miss him at Brother's Pizza in downtown Elkton. Ever since he left, the place seemed to go downhill. Mario's reminds me of the 'old Brothers' except nicer decor. This place has great pizza, and I love the Italian focaccia ... great food, even better prices. read more

Being from Jersey, it's all about the crust. Theirs is perfect. Thin and crispy. I just got my Chicken Florentine delivered. Shredded chicken, spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms and tons of garlic. Delicious! And the nice bonus is that I live close enough that it's still piping hot. read more

Great staff. Great food. Decent pricing. I'm a regular there I'd say and they're always quick and have yet to mess up an order. One of the cleanest pizza joints you can walk into. Only complaint would be the subs which you can tell are made with really high quality products they just are simply always over stuffed with meat. Which I guess is preference and if you ordered it with less, they'd give ya less(they're still really good!). read more

Got a chicken Parmesan and ziti and the chicken was not fully cook. Came to the store to rectify the problem and they wouldn't accommodate me with my order today. Love this restaurant don't like there decision to not make good on a bad order. Last visit here. read more

I ordered a medium sausage pizza for delivery while visiting ElkTon Md. It came on time and was warm. However it was not overly tasty nor was the crust as great as the previous reviews suggested. It's an ok pizza when you need a snack. Nothing more. read more

My husband and I come to Mario's often and it's one of our favorite restaurants. The dining room is nice and clean and the waitresses are always so nice to us. The food comes out quick and hot and is always so good. They also have a pretty large menu so you have lots to choose from. read more

Awesome food. The pizza crust is the best. Lots of options for toppings. We've been hitting this spot about once a week. Very satisfying!

I order from this place all the time. I've never eaten in the restaurant but get delivery all the time! They are quick with the delivery and the delivery people are always friendly. The food is very tasty and you always get large portions. Never had a complaint about this place. read more

Marios Pizza in Elkton has the BEST pizza anywhere in the Elkton MD area. Do NOT confuse this Pizza Parlor with the Marios Pizza in Newark De, because they are close in location but not in product, and when we first moved to this area, we did the same thing. Marios in Elkton, is so darn close to being a perfect pizza and very easily could be, just with them switching to Hormel pepperoni, instead of the cheaper variety they currently use. I owned a pizza shop for a couple of years and the cheaper pepperoni does not save you money in the long run, because the pizza it produces, is such an oily pizza, that it literally runs off the pizza, and down your arms if you arent careful. Hormel might cost a little more money, but its worth every penny to the true pizza connoisseurs and to the true pepperoni pizza lovers, so they certainly would pay the difference. I order from this Pizza shop atleast twice a week and sometimes more, but I can't enjoy pepperoni pizza because of this. The cheaper pepperoni is so much fattier, that it pools on the pie, so often, I have to order a different topping just to keep from getting the horrible heartburn the cheaper pepperoni causes. It absolutely frustrates the hell out of me that they are so close to being perfect, if not for this cheap pepperoni..... but even saying this, they still deserve all five stars because no one else comes close. Just be prepared if you are a pepperoni lover, that you may need a wet-vac to remove the puddles and a good heartburn remedy, to prevent the pain, but like I said, its still the best around here.....by far...... just a shame its not PERFECT PIZZA, when it could be so easily!!! read more

I get food from here sometimes when I'm at my son's house. I've never had a good cheesesteak from here. Always dry. The subs are ok but I've had better. The pizza is hit and miss when it comes to quality. Sometimes you get a good one, but a lot of the time the crust is too tough. Ordering food on the phone can be a pain sometimes too because some of the workers there do not speak English well. The Specialty Rolls are pretty good though, and the Italian Dinners are excellent. Overall, not a bad place if you are in a hurry and need a quick slice of pizza or if you want some good pasta for a reasonable price, but when it comes to pizza, subs and steaks, there are better places around. read more

We LOVE Mario's. Food is wonderful, hot, tasty. Staff is accommodating, polite, efficient, fun. Mario looks like Tony Soprano. You should go. Pizza sauce is very nice, not bitter. Nice thin crust. read more
