Just recently tried SNAP Pizza and really enjoyed it! It was almost like a Saladworks, just with pizza. While my friend and I both ordered the pizzas that they had on the menu, The Margherita and Bianca Verde, there was also the option to make your own pizza. We both liked how quick the pizza came out and how they were generous with the spices and toppings. It's thin crust, which if that's your thing you will really like this pizza. Overall, it's always crowded when we walk by and for good reason, so definitely recommend! read more

It was the perfect personal sized pizza for my boyfriend to eat it all in one sitting and competitively cheap. He got a meat lovers pizza (sausage, pepperoni, meatballs, w sauce and cheese). It was only around $20 with tip and delivery fee. They let you customize pizza which is a great option and the door dash options work well. It was a very thin circle pizza so if you're looking for a thicker Sicilian crust I would check their menu or go somewhere else. Gluten free options here!! This weekend I had snap pizza for the first time. The workers here is extremely friendly and helpful! I love the idea of creating your own pizza, but I am someone that gets very overwhelmed with these types of places. Usually it's because they have so many options. So I decided to order one of their signature pizzas. The only one that sounded appetizing (in my opinion) was the mexique. The pizza was good, not great. I knew it had barbecue sauce on the pizza, but it had a very strong Smokey flavor to it that it was just extremely overpowering. You couldn't taste the peppers, the chicken, the cheese, the cream, nothing. Just the barbecue sauce. My dad tried it and he liked it, and my mom and brother loved their customized pizza. I'd definitely come back but I would order something else. Hopefully next time I will know how I want to customize my pizza. read more

A seemingly endless selection of sauces (I get the garlic, herb butter and just a hint of tomato sauce), cheeses (including house made mozz), proteins, veggies and finishing touches (oils, cheeses, herbs or micro greens.) The crust is crispy with that lovely chew. The soda machine is small batch/ no high fructose corn syrup-- the birch beer is very good. Delicious pizza, made to order your way. I got the Farmer's Table pizza -- maybe Farmer's Market? -- which is a veggie pizza with two cheeses, mozzarella and ricotta. You cannot go wrong at SNAP, unless you go when it's really. It's a small place, so it's crowded a lot, but they work with what they have. It's a cute looking place. I've never gotten a pizza that I dislike, from their options to my own creations. All of the toppings are fresh, never a soggy broccoli or pepper, so you feel even better about what you're eating. After two visits a staff member recognized me. After three she knew my name for the order. Pretty impressive! SNAP is what is says it is, custom pizza fast. I have ordered once off the set menu and three times off the custom, and I have to say that I prefer the custom by far. The Farmer's Market on the set menu has way too much garlic as a base. It's bitter and made overly bitter by the arugula topping. Pay the extra $1 or so and just get what you want. My best combo so far is pesto base, house made mozzarella, chicken, kalamata olives, Kennett Square mushrooms, jalapeño peppers, and then the whole pie is topped with olive oil, basil, and parmesan on top. Water cups are available by the drink machine and you can get your pizza to go or eat at one of the small wooden tables provided. Payment can be made by credit card using square. The crust is thin and crisp, portion is perfect not to be too full or too hungry, and it's ready in five minutes! I'm happy to have this as an option for a quick lunch during the workday. Mother of pearl: this place is incredible. I work as a paramedic in Newark on occasion, and my partner and I decided to give SNAP a try one night. First off, they are fast. If you are coming here to pick up a pie to take out, one quarter and 12 minutes on the meter outside will be plenty to get your pizza and have you back out the door. So let's talk about their crust. I am hooked on the cauliflower crust. It honestly is almost better than their regular, and you will have no idea of what you are eating when you do try it. Make a custom pizza or try one of the ones of their menu. Their ingredients are obviously fresh and delicious. Also, their staff is pretty fantastic as well. This place is a home run. You choose the crust you want and add as many toppings as you like for one price. I had the cauliflower crust and created my own. It was one of the best cauliflower crusts I've ever had! Tasted like a normal pizza actually! The ingredients were fresh and the pizza tasted awesome! The store was clean and the staff was friendly! They have quite a bit of seating inside, but some is bar style so not the best for large groups. I also noticed a few small tables outside as well. I also really like their beverage machine. It wasn't typical name brand sodas, but made with better ingredients. I tried the raspberry tea (a bit too sweet for me), strawberry lemonade, and blackberry lemonade - all were very good! It's like the holy grail for those of us who enjoy pizza that boarders gourmet but don't want to shell out inordinate amounts of money. I went with a small group of fellow students who had also never been, and we freaking fell in love. The decor has an industrial vibe and the restaurant can get packed quickly, as it's a long, narrow space. I grabbed a table while my friends ordered. Even though there was a long line, they got through fast, and our pizzas were called quickly, too (so quick that we missed the first call!). The soda selection is awesome. Their home made root beer is really something else. They had a bunch of other yummy options in the soda fountain, but I'm not sure I'll be able to convince myself to try anything new next time I pop by. I ordered a white pizza. My single regret was not adding truffle oil to the pizza. My friends both ordered a pizza with truffle oil and it was WOW. No really, WOW. The restaurant went through waves of customers while we were there. I strongly recommend going before or after the noon-ish rush. This is a newly-opened place that replaced Peace A Pizza, which recently closed. I was disappointed when Peace a Pizza closed, and since that was my second-favorite pizza in town, I felt the bar was set pretty high for another pizza place. And wow, did this place exceed my expectations! It gets a hearty HECK FREAKING YEAH!!! from me. This place has a staggering (intimidating even!) amount of variety of toppings. The ingredients are very fresh and high-quality. The sauces are exquisite. I am a particular fan of the roasted garlic. The pesto is not overdone too, and even the "regular" tomato sauce is good. They have all the mainstream toppings you'd expect, pepperoni, italian sausage, peppers, onions, fresh basil at the end. if you want that. But they also have a lot more "exotic" stuff, like poblano peppers, arugula. There is some die-hard foodie stuff here too...like kalamato olives...and the sharp provolone cheese? This is not some weak-ass supermarket or deli provolone. This is kickass provolone, the stuff you can usually only buy in those big, hard blocks from some little Italian grocery where some old Italian man will be glad to talk for length about what makes this particular cheese special. It stands its own and commands your attention as you bite into the finished slice of pizza. This is the stuff that makes me say heck freaking yeah! This is what inspired me to write this review. It's relatively quick to make the pizza too. So what's the downside? This is a tiny storefront. It gets absolutely packed, already, and this place has barely opened. Expect a lot of people to bump into you as you are walking back and forth to the tables. They've made amazing use of the space, even cramming a little bar of seating along the side...but they've kept all the walls hard surfaces. This place is so live...so it gets really loud. Absolutely the best Pizza in the area. I love the custom made options including the garlic oil, balsamic spread, and the fresh mozzarella. If you want SNAP for lunch..come early as there's a guaranteed line around 12pm. My only personal preference is that I like a crispier crust so I always ask them to put it back in the oven for one more minute, comes out perfect. But I say SNAP away!
