I live super far from here, but drive all this way to eat here. They have some of the best tacos! Their service is pretty quick and the staff is always nice. Finding seating is easy because it's located inside the Montclair Place food court. There is plenty of seating inside the food court, along with other great restaurant counters within. My husband and kids try the other places, but, I stick to my tacos from here. I can't pass up a chance to have em.

Ordered yesterday for the first time, 11/20/21. We ordered to go and we were craving some tacos. We tried: - 2 Shrimp Tacos: $7 - Shrimp Quesadilla: $6 - Burrito Bowl: $10 SUBTOTAL: $23 TAX (8%): $1.84 SERVICE CHARGE (3%): $0.69 TOTAL: $25.53 The food was good however I'm giving this place 2 stars because the portions were so small, not worth the price! $7 for 2 small tacos, are you kidding me...also the burrito bowl is exactly the same as the Pollo Bowl from El Pollo Loco (and it's only $5!). The quesadilla was filling. This place also charges each customer on a "service charge" fee. I have no clue what this is for. The only service we received was the cashier putting in our order and an employee giving us sauces...I guess this is their version of an automatic tip? Overall if you really want to try this place out then I recommend the shrimp quesadilla. Otherwise, I really do not recommend this place at all.

This taco place is incredible, and I honestly didn't expect this high of a quality from a mall location. The carne asada was tender, the beans and rice were well seasoned, and the limes were JUICY. JUICY LIMES. Anyone who goes to taco places regularly knows that you have to request an entire lime tree in order to adequately squeeze enough to cover your whole order. The service was relatively quick as well and the staff was friendly. I was surprised there wasn't really a line for this location, so act now before it stops being such a hidden gem. Also, I was with my young (around 1yr old) nephew, and we got him the quesadilla, which is thankfully made with a mexican white cheese (maybe chihuahua) instead of the shredded yellow kind that many Tex-Mex places use.

This place is located in the food court in the West Covina mall. I couldn't decide what I wanted so I ordered the sampler tacos, which includes an Oli's taco, dirty queso taco, and a queso Birria taco with your choice of meat. I got carne asada for all of mine. My husband ordered the shrimp tacos. The Birria taco was burnt so I had to break off the outer shell. Other than that, everything tasted great! The salsas were good too. My favorite was the Oli's taco with the caramelized onions and cheese. Yum! Definitely recommend!

Breakfast Burrito; steak, rice, beans, cheese and an over easy egg....mmmm runny....

Every time I'm in the area I always get their breakfast burrito. It's my favorite breakfast burrito in town. Although it's missing potatoes or hash brown in it, it still slaps!!! Steak, rice beans, cheese and a runny egg tucked inside. This sport would've been a 5 star but I gotta say. I wasn't a fan of the either salsa, I think if they get better salsa this place would be complete. The salsa is watery and tasteless. Other than that, this is one of my go-to burrito spot. BYOS bring your own salsa guys....

Someone can't wait to get to the Birria tacos

For sure the best place in a mall food court, you would never think to get birria tacos here queso tacos, but trust, they are so good, crunchy and tasty with the red onions and the salsa, omg!!! The plate comes with 3 and you can add the consomé on the side, but if you decide not to get it, it's fine. I came around 12 on a Friday so the wait wasn't too bad, however long they take, trust, it's worth it, enjoy!!

dildo in cooks hands???!!!!! disgusting !!! i cant make this up! it's 01/12/2024 at @ approximately 2:04 pm i had just ordered and as i waited by the tables directly infront of olis tacos i am facing in rhe restaurants direction when an older hispanic/latina lady came out the back and called for the cashier showing her huge rubber penis so evident that the tip was pink and the rest a light caucasian color with testicles!!! it took me a second to register the fact that shes back there cooking my food and only she knows where thats been at or if its been used!!!!! you dont bring that to a restaurant let alone as a cook!!! thats against so many health violations its unbelievable!! so i approached the cashier and told her "cancel my order your cook is back there with a dildo its disgusting!!" she immediately apologized and said " im sorry i dont know why she even did that?" it was so evident that yer own moral values couldnt deny it!! i canceled my order and grab food from chinese food from the restaurant next door ‍ " eat at your own risk " usually means the food might jot be good its not supposed to mean " you mght catch a sexual disease !! The Asada was a weird texture like round to it but good flavor. The corn tortillas are homemade and delicious I ordered some to go so I can have them with posole! Yum!

The Sampler Taco - Birria taco, asada in the other two
    LadyAnne D.

My go-to for food at the Montclair mall. Get the Sampler! You won't be sorry... just ask for the habanero sauce on the side for the Oli taco if you're more of a mild type, and you can choose type of meat. The cucumber lime agua Fresca is good too!

Ordered a burrito to eat here and the don't provide plates or tray or anything! I asked for at least a to go box so my son can place his food on something... oh sorry we don't have plates ! And we can't give you any to go container for free, you have to pay for it !! - Really Bad Customer Service- Inaceptable - plus they charge a service fee without letting you know.. food was ok but not the best .. employee's attitude is very important.. owner should teach them than

They Put Plenty Of Meat & Cheese In The Quesadillas.
    Nikkie S.

The item that I like ordering all the time is the quesadilla. The quesadilla is always filled with meat and cheese every single time. The filling includes any meat of your choice and you put whatever veggies and sauce you want. They have the usual meat options as in carnitas, chicken, asada, and many others. Most of the meats are tender and taste fresh when you order them. There are many options on the menu, from street tacos to veggie tacos and wet burrito, surf & turf, and breakfast burritos they all taste pretty good. As for the sides, they have many sauces, cilantro, and onions all fresh and you get a good amount per order. The popular sauce is the red sauce it's good with everything as it is very spicy. They put the sauce in small plastic containers when ordering to-go and with your meal. Even though this eatery is located in a food court, the food is made after you place your order, when I received my food they never tasted stale or under cooked. The wait time is quick, around 10 minutes, which is great if you are in for a quick bite. They also carry many drinks and their agua frescas are refreshing and delicious. They have a few flavors that constantly change but no matter what time of day you order them they are great. If you are looking for a "self-serve" condiments section they do not have one - you have to keep coming up to the counter to ask for some.

The tacos and service was really good. I'd definitely eat here again. Not bad at all.

I wasn't planning to have tacos since I already had tacos from a taco truck, but, since there are not alot of taco places in Hawai, might as well give it a shot. It wont hurt to have day 2 of taco tuesday.lol. but i am glad I took a risk. The tacos are delicious. I had the Al Pastor and Al Carbon. And both were very tasty. Fast and friendly service also.

Not terribly inventive Mexican given what's out there in DTLA or even OC but kudos for attempts at menu expansion! I do think the guacamole is really good, the mezcal offerings are awesome, the decor is upscale and Happy Hour pricing is worthwhile. I find this restaurant very loud however. Because of that, I booked outside seating on OpenTable for Cinco de Mayo for drinks at 6:30 for 4 of us. We arrived at 6:25. We were notified that they were running behind, but still were not seated at 7... we were told there was no outdoor seatings coming up in the near future but they could honor our reservation shortly at an indoor table... but unfortunately it was club-decibel live music for the holiday so we went elsewhere. I do feel that managing holiday crowds and reservations is a reasonable expectation for a restaurant of this caliber/ price point. Recommend as a local option only but with a few caveats, not my top choice.
