My husband and I were getting a car wash nearby and came across The Best Taco. The service was fantastic, the woman who helped us was friendly and inviting. She told us about some specials while we were deciding on what to order. We ordered a carne asada burrito and a chicken taquito plate. The rice and beans were so good and I don't even like refried beans all that much. The meal felt homemade--like your abuela cooked it. The salsas were flavorful and the red one has a real kick! The restaurant is massive and filled with video games and 25 cent machines that don't work. The decor definitely needs to be updated. I felt the portions could've been a bit bigger for the amount you pay but I would definitely come back for a taco Tuesday because the carne asada meat was very flavorful. read more

I would not say best taco, maybe smallest taco. You can prob take one bite and be done. Not enough meat to actually taste what you are eating since it goes down so fast. I really like the food at this place. I'll admit, it is a bit run down but the food is really good. I like it better than other taco places around here and I'll be honest, I'm picky when it comes to taco meat lol I've pretty much tried everyone on the menu and haven't had anything I don't like. They always haven't ever got my order wrong which I truly appreciate especially if I'm in a rush. Give it a try if you're in the area. Best taco? Not even close. Since the title claims it, I had to try 'em: Carne Asada, Al Pastor and Carnitas tacos. The carnitas taco had chunks of nothing but fat in it. There was hardly any salty pork flavor to them either. Served with onion and cilantro on top, that's really all I could taste. The al pastor tacos had the same problem; huge chunks of fat. The flavor profile was a lot better than that of the carnitas: slightly sweet with a delicate spice. The fatty chunks just totally killed the experience. Last, and certainly making a case for least, was the carne asada taco. Though there weren't any huge chunks of fat in these tacos (perhaps only the pork type tacos suffer from this problem), there were pieces which were over "asadad" (I'm talking almost charcoal). Lastly, after placing my order, I noticed the cook open a few containers, and pour out the meat on the grill to heat up (rather than cook) the meat. This means, there's no way the taco meat was fresh. The tacos were what all the "hip" places these days call "street tacos", which means they are served on two small corn tortillas and are about the size of the palm of your hand. All three tacos set me back less than $5.00. Considering the quality, I overpaid. read more

This place is surprisingly good for how simple the building looks from the outside. I guess that's how all the really good mexican food places are though, lowkey appearance but great food. Havent tried the tacos so I cant tell you if they're really the best as the name implies but the carnitas burrito I had was really good. It ain't too hard to find great tacos in the Inland Empire, but this place was actually very solid. The tacos are only like $1.65 per taco, and they are very small, but delicious and the place has tons of interesting meats (like tongue, cabeza, tripe). Food is delicious. We had the tripa and buche tacos and asada fries. Everything was cooked to perfection. Their red salsa has a kick that's pleasing to the pallet. The restaurant is kind of hidden and dark at night, but as soon as you walk inside, the decor is on a whole new level. They have painted murals, plenty of seating inside a huuuuuge dining room, Mexican candy for sale, gumball machines, salsa bar, etc. Music is kinda loud, but not really a problem. Service was pretty good. They bring the food to your table, unlike other places that just call out your number. Prices were decent. Parking is kind of packed, but we managed to find a spot.
