The fish was a nice thick cut, with fresh cabbage and a spicy sauce that worked really well. The nachos had potential, but the asada was overcooked and a little dry. Overall, Petiscos is still good, but the price is higher than I think it should be, and the wait time doesn't help. I've been coming here long enough that I know what I'm getting, and it's close enough to home that I'll come back when it's convenient. This isn't somewhere I'd take someone to impress or go when I'm looking for a really good meal. I'm not sure I'd even recommend it to an out-of-towner. I told the waiter this when we questioned the bill and he just shrugged. These may seem like small inconveniences but when they seem like they intentionally don't tell you the details and then when called out about it just kinda shrug it off, it was a disappointing end to an otherwise tasty dinner.
