Got takeout from Oliang - food remained hot, portions were fair, and was still good the next day reheated. The panang curry wasnt that spicy, super rich and creamy, the noodles go well with it but I think rice would hit diff The pad kee mao was tasty and had a nice variety of toppings with spicy smoky kick to it. Overall i would return to both try a seated dining experience and to get a Thai fix in for a night

This place was absolutely amazing! Truly authentic Thai food with flavors that speak for themselves. The owner made the experience even better--he welcomed me like family from the moment I walked in. Since it was my first time, he asked about my favorite Thai dishes and personally recommended a couple of items. The chicken baby egg rolls were phenomenal--crispy, flavorful, and perfectly done. Then he introduced me to a new dish they created: crispy wonton Pad Thai. Let me just say... I ate every single bite. It was fresh, unique, and incredibly satisfying--even with tofu (and I didn't even miss the chicken!). I will definitely be back again and again. Highly recommend!

Always consistent, great neighborhood spot. Picked up to go and the food was very hot. Pad Thai was a bit too saucy but and pad won sen had great flavor. Excellent for a quick dinner!

Very good food and service! The curries and noodles are amazing and the drinks are very good as well! We loved their crab rangoons and other appetizers. Parking is so hard with the location on Ashland so be careful. Glad to see that a sister sushi restaurant opened downtown! The space inside and the ambiance are very nice. I'm glad they opted to drop the cafe portion of their restaurant (the coffee was not very good when I first went) and focused on the food.

So glad my husband and I found this place randomly when we were craving thai food. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! The service is amazing and the restaurant itself is very cute! This place is the best for thai food in the neighborhood. I have pretty much tried everything on the menu and every item has been delicious. This is our go to thai place for dine in and take out! The crab rangoons are a must! Their red curry and thai fried rice are amazing. The thai ice tea is very refreshing. Great place for date nights and families too!

Had a great experience here overall. The food was good, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was excellent. The real standout was the duck curry. It was perfectly balanced with sweet, spicy, and savory flavors, and easily the best dish on the table. I'd come back just for that alone. Definitely worth a visit

Rating: 4.2/5. My favorite Thai restaurant in Chicago. Oliang has turned me into a BIG Pad Kee Mao fan. The basil fried rice and khao soo are also delicious. Olivia and Nadia take great care of us every time we eat here.

Montana peach mocktail-a very sweet drink, let the ice melt a little to water down the sweetness Crab Rangoon-so good and fresh, not oily or greasy at all, fried to perfection and the perfect amount of filling, circular shape, a little more than a bite-size portion, comes with 6, sauce is light and not too sweet Steam pot stickers-steamed well Chicken pad si ew-taste like your regal pad si ew Beef pad kee mao-it's like a pad si ew but has a little bit of spiciness and more variety of veggies Basil fried rice-it has a kick to it, taste a little bit of the basil but not too much, the texture of the rice is sticky and chewy Chicken khao soi-my favorite dish, love the curry sauce, very flavorful, love the texture of the egg noodles and the crispy noodles Chicken Penang curry and chicken green curry-both served fresh and very hot (in temperature), creamy and very tasty All ingredients here are made fresh and the portions are great for sharing for a group of 7 people to try a variety of dishes at a decent price. Service is great and the people who own the restaurant are very kind. The decor inside is very cute with the hanging lights and plants.

Best Thai food in Chicago. It had been a minute since my last visit, and I forgot how good everything is. Our go‑tos are always the Panang Curry and the Pad Kee Mao with tofu--both were delicious. Tried a couple drinks too: the Lychee Green Popping Tea was really refreshing, but the Mango Aloha tasted more milky than mango, so not my fave. Really cute interior as well with all the greenery and lights

This place is a must for Thai food. The interior is beautiful and I love the plants and decor around the restaurant. We got seated right away for a table of two. Our server was helpful and knowledgeable with the menu and quickly got our orders right away. Service overall was very fast and I always had my water cup refilled to the brim no matter what. The drinks were absolutely amazing and I recommend the Thai iced tea and the Oliang. Their crab rangoons are also one of my favorites! I loved my pad si ew with chicken and my boyfriend enjoyed his yellow curry entree. You also get to pick the amount of spice on your entree. The check took awhile to recieve but the prices are reasonable. Great spot overall!

Great Thai food. Curries were delectable - spicy and creamy, and best eaten with copious amounts of rice. Noodles were great too and had sufficient char and flavor. Tried a whole bunch of food and wasn't disappointed with its flavor and spice level (medium).

This place is so cute on the inside and so it their food! We made a reservation and were sat right by the window so had the cutest view outside and into the restaurant. The menu has a ton of options for everyone and they even have a great drink menu as well. The food was delicious and the perfect portions, especially if you order it with a protein. We got everything pretty timely for a busy evening. I would love to come back to try a few of their drinks!

Kitchen pumps out a quality yet modestly sized menu (get the finger appetizers). Front of house staff are friendly. Super solid.

There are window views from the restaurant, making for good people watching. Mainly metered parking available Medium to large sized place with dedicated sections for thai food (about 8 tables and 2 rows of bar style seats) vs for sushi and ramen but all under the same place/owner, can order from any menu - the decor on that side is super cute, fish cutouts, anime/manga decorated walls, decked out bars Got the scuba diving chicken from the chefs faves and must say it was pretty good - a bit on the greasier side but the aroma of the herbs and the spices from the curry really pull through, chicken is cooked very well, super tender and juicy. I got the "No turning back" spice level and theres a hefty kick - halfway into the dish my mouth def feels it but nothing too extreme (FYI theres a slight mala-like numbingness to it) The traditional papaya salad was crunchy and refreshing, sauce is tangy but not too overwhelming. The peanuts add a nice nutty element to it. There were hardly any dried shrimp, so wouldve like to see a bit more of that. Be sure to give it a good mix as the sauce and topping fall to bottom of the bowl To top it off, the service was great. Albert was really attentive and helpful - would come back if im in the gold coast area again to try the other menu offerings

We got here…read morejust about a half hour opening and it was already pretty busy with people dining in and people waiting for takeout... always a good sign! Seating was a little tight like at Phodega, but not terrible. To view menu, you scan a QR code at the table. My husband & I ordered the following: - Grilled Squid This was really good! I thought it was going to come out like little calamari rings, but it was actually a decently sized whole squid, sliced with the tentacles on the side. It was cooked perfectly as it was not chewy or rubbery. The flavor was great, especially with the paired Thai-spicy seafood sauce. - Crab Meat Fried Rice Loved that this was with real crab! & not the imitation crab. There were bits of crab meat throughout the rice and then topped with a big lump of crab meat. It came served with a lime & yummy fish sauce with fresh Thai chili's. - Bamee Noodles with BBQ Pork without broth This bowl of egg noodles had a slightly sweet flavor to it, served with a fox amount of BBQ Pork which was also nice & tender! Slurped it all up! - Jina's Fried Chicken This was good, but not anything like out of this world. It was fried chicken leg quarter, served with black sticky rice. - Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango LOVED this! It was a great way to end our meal! I loved that it came with extra sweet sauce! - Taro Tapioca in Coconut Milk Cream This was great too! It was actually a warm dessert. The menu described it as "Tapioca pearls" so I was expecting the tiny little clear boba balls, but it was cubes of like glutinous rice. Which was not bad! I liked it a lot; it reminded me of Ginataang Bilo Bilo (#iykyk if you're Filipino)! Overall, a delicious experience! We would eat here again!
