I had lunch here today with a few friends and upon leaving, I noticed that they charged my card twice. I tried calling them to let them know the mistake. Nobody answered all day, long, the phone ring and ring and ring when I asked if the girl could do a special order, she said yes, and then the order was not completed and at no time did she come and say I'm sorry we are unable to do that for you. When we asked for a box to go she just walked by dropped the box and kept walking. she served us our food, but didn't let us know where the plates were or where we can get extra things from when ordering food she did not inform us of the giant sizes of the dishes for a first time customer there you should always afford them of how large the dishes are I ordered an açai bowl which could've fed five people. If I would've known it was going to be that large I would not have purchased it for just me alone the worst service in Glendale that I have had in a long time and now I don't even know if I will get my refund because I can't even get a hold of anybody to answer the phone of their business. now I have to eat up a $68 bill for a $30 lunch. read more

Continently located in the hotel lobby with a limited grab and go selection. Coffee bar available but service is very slow. I ordered a breakfast to go (b/c the hotel does not offer room service) and it took 30 minutes for a not full restaurant to package up my order. Food was cold and the rooms have no microwave. Bacon was limp and the eggs that I asked to be scrambled soft were overcooked. Best part of the meal was the bread. Thick cut sourdough. Fatush was was a bit oily personally for me but everything else was great. You order before sitting then they bring your food. They had bar next to it you can order alcohol as well . I stayed at Glenmark for about a month in December, what an Amazing experience, from the rooms , comfortable beds, modern emenetie. We were having breakfast and dinner at the Olia. The food was amazing, service was incredible. We spent lots of time with friends at the roof top all I can say is just WOW. Christmas made it more special for us . This is the place to be . This is completely unacceptable. Twice now, I've had to leave this restaurant in the middle of a meal because they allow people to smoke in the patio seating area. As a resident of Glendale for over 30 years, I'm well aware that smoking cigars and cigarettes at a restaurant is against the rules and must be at least 20 feet away from a building. Despite bringing this issue to the attention of the waitstaff both times, they admit management is aware but still refuses to act. How can this blatant disregard for the law and customers' well-being continue? I had to pack up my baby and leave mid-meal twice. It's outrageous that nothing is being done about this. read more

Tried their pesto penne, fried calamari, pepperoni pizza, and key lime pie martini. All were very good except the pizza was a bit too thin, floppy, and oily, (besides the crust). The cocktail was really really good but barely tasted the alcohol. The fried calamari was super crunchy and flavorful on the outside but a bit chewy on the inside. The pesto penne was perfectly cooked and flavored. One big con was the water was $8 for a shared bottle, which we did not know until we saw the receipt. read more

First of all the place was so beautiful and cozy. Our server was very friendly. It was our first time there and we just wanted something light. She recommended us this amazing salad "Emerald Kale". Happened to have an appointment at one of the many medical offices in the area and was looking around for a breakfast spot when I noticed Oliva's patio street-side seating. Did not even notice this is a hotel cafe, but it's quite elegantly decorated similar to the hotels modern design ethic. Had a generous and delicious açaí bowl, and a standard iced Americano, which is Intelligencia brew. Order at the counter and take a table sign for seating. Though it has spacious ceilings the acoustics are well controlled and you can easily have quiet conversations without shouting. Very cool option considering how big Glendale blocks can be rather Vegas size big making any walking distance places a pretty good hike from the hotel. A great option for the local places and easily recommendable whether staying at the hotel or just in the neighborhood. read more

I am giving two starts because aesthetic were there but nothing else . Came for lunch around 3pm with 6 girls on a Saturday & it was completely dead , the entire time we were there only 2 other tables that came in . 6 cocktails took 25 mins to come out to our table , food took 1 hr 30mins to come out and all the food came out at different times! With 5-15mins each dish came out and we wouldn't really eat together because if we had to wait for all the food to come out our food would off been ice cold. Food was bland & barely lukewarm warm and nothing great . Food(3/10) , service ( 2/10) our first server didn't know English & overall staff was not knowledgeable about the menu . Everything took extremely long , even to get water. I noticed they couldn't multitask . ambiance (7/10) unfortunately wouldn't come again. Food is good Servers are all trainees they do their best but need professional training. For example, they bring tea but they don't think of spoon or sugar The kitchen is small, so they can only bring one food at a time. If you have a large table, your last person will start eating while the first one is already finished eating, and they can't handle volume. read more

Dahlia provides exceptional customer service and as a person with life threatening allergies, she personally checks with the kitchen to see if any ingredients would trigger them. I don't often write reviews, however tonight we met a waitress who needed to be recognized publicly! Lauren was everything one could ask for in a waitress. She was attentive, prompt, caring, ensured we were comfortable and (better yet) made us laugh. I work in the service industry myself and this combination of skills is a dream. The food was really great. We particularly loved the beet salad (which is a funny thing to rave over). The vibe of the whole place was nice as well. I don't know who told the manager that "scent marketing" is a thing but this level of smell is super gross.
