I'm staying at the Glenmark and popped into Olia for a salad and drinks. The bartender Rita is uh-mazing. She made amazing drinks just how we liked them. The salad was doused in dressing and not so great, but the hospitality was phenomenal. The bar area is quaint and the eating area is pretty as well. This is a decent option if you're staying at the hotel.

We had heard great things about Olía and decided to try it for ourselves. Easy and plenty of street parking when we arrived at about 11 am and it's away from the chaos of downtown Glendale. We were greeted by a few friendly employees and handed menus. We ordered a cheese burger and breakfast wrap. Both were great and arrived to our table in about 15 minutes. The breakfast wrap comes with cheddar cheese and I replaced it with goat cheese, it was fantastic! There is a coffee bar with Starbucks coffee and plenty of other coffees available. Seating is available inside or outside and there are heaters on the patio but they weren't on, so we opted for inside. It was loud inside at all and we could hear each other with no problem. We highly recommend a stop here and we will definitely be back. Enjoy!

Very disappointing service. We said hello when we arrived and the waiter ignored us. We waited 10-15 minutes to order, and no one helped. When the waiter finally came, she told us to wait and then turned away to laugh and chat with another staff member. Poor management and poor service. I don't recommend this place if you value your time.

As the main restaurant of the Glenmark hotel, Olia features a mixture of California and Armenian dishes. It is a fusion restaurant that does a solid job jumping from a khachapuri to an avocado toast, a feat that few spots would dare to put on one menu. The interior is brightly lit, with large open windows, high ceilings and elegant contemporary bistro furniture. Ordering occurs at the counter and the staff are incredibly kind. There is a homey sense to Olia somehow and despite being located in a hotel, it felt that a lot of the diners are regulars as opposed to hotel guests. Armenians coming to sit down for hours, to enjoy each other's company. The California khachapuri may be the highlight of the menu, served with avocado. As a whole, an excellent spot. Fresh ingredients and an adventurous selection that is executed well.

I was traveling alone and loved that I could order this high quality meal without having to visit the roof top restaurant. I was in the hotel common area. The atmosphere was cozy and even a little lively. I ordered the lamb and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Beautifully plated too. Service was impeccable. I'll for sure done here again next time I'm in town.

Staff is patient as well and the aura of the place is so relaxing, however I do feel like there's quite a few things missing. Let's talk about food! The food is definitely fresh and you can tell! I ordered the waffle which was good. The shakshuka was okay nothing revolutionary. I did let them know I can't have spice at all but the shakshuka does have spice in it and was brought out. Thankfully they were willing to fix it! Water you do have to go get yourself. This wouldn't be my go-to however overall wouldn't mind going back again.

Olia Restaurant offers an exceptional dining setting...it's clean, upscale, and the attention to detail in the restaurant is truly excellent. The food is also spot on. I highly recommend the Shakshouka and Matcha Pancakes, which were both awesome and really tasty. It's a nice touch that they also serve Starbucks coffee. The only drawback is the service, which was occasionally questionable; staff were blunt, often responding with a simple "no" instead of offering helpful alternatives for requests. It doesn't take much to please a customer; all you gotta do is try. If they improve this approach to customer service, Olia is an easy 5-star restaurant.

They opened earlier this year and have been such a welcome addition to the neighborhood. The coffee is amazing, the shop is super cute and cozy, and I'm obsessed with the little details from the cup designs to the beautiful finishing touches on each drink. Service is always fast, which makes it even better. The Einspanner is my personal favorite so far, but honestly every drink I've tried has been great, and I fully plan on working my way through the entire menu over time. Highly recommend stopping by!

We luckily found street parking up front, otherwise they have a small street nearby that you can probably park in as well. Only two people were ahead of us when we walked in but shortly after, the place filled up with the line almost out the door! There was only one worker but she made it work and she was fast! Cute decor and vibes inside. I wanted to try the pistachio bliss that everyone seemed to rave about but since their seasonal menu was out, I went for the toffee nut iced latte. The drinks are a bit on the pricier side, cute cups though! Something about the drink I got was a little off putting. Idk if it was whatever spice they used but I was not crazy about it. I definitely want to come back and try the pistachio at some point though! Getting out of my parking spot was rough. Busy street but also some annoying guy parked in the red zone behind me, basically bumper to bumper and then another girl in front had A LOT of room in front of her and just didn't give me enough room. I luckily made it out but very annoying! Anyway, still looking forward to coming back to try their pistachio bliss! IG: @ammysalamii

A female staff member said I could, so I ordered at the counter and asked her what drinks could be made caffeine-free. She very kindly told me that if I let her know which drink I wanted, she would make it without caffeine for me. The female staff who took my order was incredibly friendly. I ordered the Mango Coconut Boom, and it was great that they had a display board showing which order numbers were currently being made while I waited. After waiting for about 5 to 8 minutes, my drink came out, and it was really delicious. It wasn't too sweet and was very refreshing. (I actually try to avoid drinking sugary drinks because of my teeth. Ever since spending a fortune at the dentist a few years ago, I've been taking extra care of my teeth. So I usually don't drink sweet beverages, but this one didn't bother my teeth at all, which made it even better.) The only downside is that this location doesn't have any tables or seating space. Still, the drink was so delicious and refreshing that I finished it in a flash, and the staff who took my order was so friendly, which was great. (Even when Starbucks gives out free drinks sometimes with my reward points, I never order a Venti because I think it's a waste to order a large size just because it's free if I can't even finish it. So I just ordered a regular size yesterday, but it was so good that I drank it so fast.) I heard Hey Tea is very popular lately and that a lot of people love it, so I went out of curiosity yesterday, and I am completely satisfied.

Well, except for the coffee, according to my Dad, but the man drinks a blend of CostCo and Starbucks coffee . . . so some fine coffee connoisseur he is not. I didn't taste it as I'm on Dr.'s orders to be off caffeine, so I had the armenian herb tea, which was lovely. The place is small, but beautifully decorated, and really cozy. Very disappointing experience--save your money…read more We were really looking forward to trying this place because everything online looked delicious. Unfortunately, the experience was the complete opposite. Despite having only six tables, the wait was extremely long. My Eggs Benedict with avocado and salmon took about 30 minutes, and my daughter's food arrived another 15 minutes later. My coffee came even later--and was the wrong drink. The salmon was dry, tough, and brown around the edges. The bread was dry and so difficult to cut that I practically gave up. The coffee tasted terrible. I went to the counter and politely explained the problems and asked if I could get something else. I was told no because the food is made to order. I also explained that I had ordered a hot espresso, not an iced coffee, but was told I hadn't specified that. The young woman said she would get the manager. We waited another 15 minutes, and no manager ever came to our table. So we left. For the prices they charge, I expect better food, better service, and--most importantly--some effort to make things right when a customer is unhappy.
