The Olde Heritage Tavern was recommended by the clerk at the hotel I was staying at and I was excited to try a local unique tavern for lunch. I sat at the bar and ordered a cheeseburger. The burger was huge, but everything went downhill from there. The burger was delivered way undercooked (see picture). I asked for pepper-jack cheese but it was made with cheddar. The service was atrocious and non-existent. My tea was never refilled. Nobody asked how I was doing or if I needed anything. Keep in mind that I was sitting at the bar, not some corner table in the back of the joint. Finally, I had to ask for my check. I was concerned after taking some bites of the undercooked burger that I was going to get sick from eating raw meat. I won't be back. read more

Been here a couple times. Only once recently after new owners took over. It was a Thursday night. Busy but not crazy. It's consistent with my experience of former owners which is good, consistency. It's basic pub food. Dont mean as a negative or a positive, just fact. Love the somewhat recent outdoor areas (front and back). They allow dogs outside which is somewhat rare, we find. They kindly brought us a fresh water bowl for our dog! The service was very friendly, but I think the young women were either overwhelmed busy due to staff shortages (common right now) or they are new and learning. Food to table before we were given utensils/plates. Meal came minutes after our appetizer. Love that new owners haven't changed too much since taking over so locals are happy but hope they can clean up some of the rough areas. read more

This has an old fashion pub charm with an attentive wait staff. Their lunch special for Thursday's is freshly roasted Turkey Reuben with sweet potato fries which I highly recommend.
