    Old Smokey *

First time at this location and to be honest not exactly what I remembered. Maybe it's the changing of times where the product is downsized and price increases. I honestly don't know maybe it's me. My wife and I always loved the Bagel Sandwiches. Her favorite was the Old Smoky but by the looks of it, the meat potions have gotten a lot smaller. The Everything Bagel is still the same quality & great flavor. The Mile High was slightly better, again same great flavor and great bagel. I'm not going to give up Old School because I love the bagels I just may give up the sandwiches.

I was looking for something not too heavy but also savory for breakfast and a bagel sandwich from Old School was the winner. I need protein with every meal so the meat lover was right up my alley. It had good flavor and was filling but a bit dry. I want to try their lunch sandwiches next.

I honestly was hesitant on going here because of all the reviews but I went and tried it. I have no complaints! The ladies that work there are so sweet. They took their time to answer my questions about the drinks and they were very sweet the whole time that we sat there to eat our bagel and drink our coffee. Very clean place and very calm too. I really enjoyed being there and I liked my bagel a lot. Or was soft and had a perfect amount of sausage and egg. The coffee was also very good. Not too sweet, or was perfect for me.

This bagel place is really good; I highly recommend them. They have great customer service and a nice, clean place.

Hot white mochas, milk and chocolate milk.

I've driven through this location 3 times and come inside once. First time, their hot white mocha was amazing. Better than Starbucks or Scooters. Sadly, the second time their espresso machine was broken, the third time they just gave me a plain latte (missing the hot white mocha sauce), and on the fourth time not only did they do the same thing again--giving me a plain latte instead of what I ordered, but they also told me that they were out of chocolate milk How hard is it to add chocolate sauce into the plain cup of milk they gave me? I don't typically leave reviews, but the service here was abismal. Needless to say--we drove down to scooters and got our drinks there.

Ok so I've passed this new location many a times since I've been to the other one on covell and Kelly. This one is like an upscale/ modern version of an Einstein bagel place, it's very simple in nature without a billion things on the walls to distract one's adhd mind haha. Love the ability to get breakfast and lunch anytime, got the avocado sunrise with a jalapeño cream cheese add. The bagel basically melts in your mouth, absolutely delicious! The customer service was very professional and didn't push me to get anything considering I had just woken up when I ordered haha. Next time I'm getting the meat lovers bagel after I book an appointment at the urgent care next door hahaha. Y'all check this place out cause I definitely see it being a place I'll take my family too more often.

I had high hopes about this place as my brother was in town visiting and said he read a good review…read moreabout it. The decor is very eclectic and kitschy...it looks like they furnished it with goodwill. Which is not a negative thing, in my book...just a specific aesthetic. Upon first glance, I was impressed by the menu and its extensive offerings. Everything sounded very good and we were hungry having a late breakfast. I ordered an iced french vanilla latte to drink and it was pretty good. I'm not a coffee connoisseur, but I can appreciate a sweet, well balanced latte. The waitress seemed panicked from the moment she introduced herself. She was kind and polite, but you could tell she wanted us to hurry up so she could get to her other tables. I think the poor girl was maybe the only person serving our party of three and another party of like 15 that came in, so it was clear she was overwhelmed. The ordering process felt very rushed and the moment we stopped talking, she launched towards the back. I've served for over 20 years, so I have compassion for being "in the weeds", but the key to good service is to not make the customer bear the weight of your urgency, in my opinion. Nonetheless, we ordered our food with anticipation. I was excited that they offered eggs Benedict in several different forms, but I ordered it the old fashioned way with hash browns as my side. The food took a reasonable amount of time to cook. Once we received our meals, everything looked really good. As I cut into my eggs Benedict, I realized the egg wasn't fully poached (it was still gooey) and the meat they used wasn't actual Canadian Bacon, but rather a sliced deli meat. I'm assuming it was ham. It looked like they pulled it straight out of a package from Walmart and slapped it on the English muffin. The food was just not good and definitely not worth the price. My brother got an omelet and there was cheese on top, but it was literally a sliced cheese laid on top of the omelette and it wasn't even fully melted. I respect this establishment as it is a small business and I give them kudos for what they did well. I would recommend they reduce their menu selections and focus on offering better quality ingredients for the items they serve. As for the service, it's a human experience. Some days are good and some days are bad. My only recommendation is that if you're "in the weeds" let your table know that you just got sat with a big top and you need to catch up, but you're going to take great care of them. That feels much better than feeling rushed. All in all, I don't envision myself coming back to this place unless I hear some significant changes are made regarding the quality of ingredients in their food.

The Colorado omelette was good too with a side of potato's which just needed some seasoning . I had some banana nut waffles I believe was a special going on those were yummy too. I'm not a golfer, I've golfed and I've been to the driving range but it's just not for me! However, I have found out some of the best food is served at golf courses. Since I was eating solo I sat at the bar. The menu was intriguing and I had to give some thought as to what I wanted to try. I knew I wanted a sandwich or burger so I went back and forth between the Club Sandwich, the French Dip, Pulled Pork, and the burgers. I finally decided I'm at The Lookout why not just go with the signature Lookout Burger. It was delicious, the smoky bacon stuck out the most along with the pimento cheese! The burger was nice and juicy. The only negative was the bun! It just didn't hold up to the burger. The fries were good as I asked for them to be crispy! I sat in front of a fully stocked bar but this was only a lunch break and I had to return to work. Madison was the person behind the bar and she was delightful! After I finished and she brought the tab we discussed best options for lunch, her top choice was the French Dip. That being one of my favorite sandwiches I must return to try it out! This being a golf course restaurant one would naturally see a lot of the golf theme. However, you don't have to golf to enjoy some good food! I would highly recommend giving this place a try!

Great Breakfast! Found this on Yelp…read more Very nice, clean place. Looks small on outside but plenty of seating. Ordered the Bowl with meats over potatoes. Asked for salsa too, 2 were $2.98 extra. Husband ordered the country bowl over Hashbrowns. Both good. You even get a side too. We got pancakes and then biscuits n gravy. They give you 2 biscuits but just enough gravy for 1. Next time I will just tell them 1 Biscut. They will charge probably for extra gravy. Plenty to fill you up.

When we came in the, the only booth available was right next to the restroom. Not always a problem, but they had so much of that bathroom air freshener that it was completely overwhelming. You couldn't stand to sit there let alone try to eat a meal through it so we asked to be moved to a different table. Our waiter, cleared a table,... And seated someone else at it. He did this twice. So we went back to remind him that he was going to move us. He didn't seem too thrilled about it, but we finally did get a table away from the toilet. It took him 25 minutes to take our order. And then we never saw him again. We had to flag two other waiters down to get coffee refills. Now the food. We all ordered the two egg breakfast. One had scrambled eggs and three with eggs over medium. First, the orders came back with scramble so we had to send them back. They brought the eggs back, but they were not over medium, they were over hard. Not what anyone wanted, but we ate them. I will say that none of our food was hot , not even the plates. The plates were handed to us right to our hands so they didn't really even try to warm anything. Several of us ordered grits and that was a joke. There was literally 4 tablespoons of grits. I would barely call that a side dish. The best thing about our experience was that the coffee was blazing hot and that was great... If you could only get a refill without having to hunt down a waiter. Service was one. I'm giving the review of three because the food didn't taste bad but I would've preferred it Hot and cooked properly. Maybe next time...?
