We decided to "rent" for Ring Dance this year. First time renting a suit here. One manager called…read moreout my sons measurements and the other wrote them down then the order was placed. When the suit arrived, my son went into the store to try on/pick up. The shirt color was wrong. The tie was wrong. The shoes were also missing. I will say that one of the staff members gave him a shirt off the store floor to accommodate him because clearly, they felt bad for the mistakes. (I later found out that staff member got in trouble for doing that). Once my son got home, I had him try on the suit for me. The pants were very wrinkled. Surprising for a rental. I assumed for the rental price of $225, everything would be ready to wear but instead, I had to press his pants and the new shirt they gave him off the store floor. When I called and spoke to a manager she was very sweet and apologetic. She said she would see if there was some kind of refund she could give me. She mentioned refund before I even asked about it. I never heard back from her. When I returned the suit the day after the dance, I asked for said manager but she wasn't working that day. I told the woman whom I was returning the suit to, about all the issues and said that manager had mentioned a refund of sorts. The woman cut me off and said i wouldn't get a refund because it's an external company they get the suits rentals from....I never heard back from the manager again. The 1 star rating is for the lack of customer service and support for the suit rental. Look, sometimes people mess up and make mistakes BUT it's up to the company to make it right and Phillip Michael's didn't do that. DO NOT RENT A SUIT FROM THEM. There is no accountability for order issues and in the end, you will regret wasting your money.

I was told that the hours for having clothes reviewed were 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., so I rushed to…read morearrive before closing and got there at approximately 2:50 p.m. When I arrived, the counter clerk indicated that they were closing early. There was no prior indication that the review hours had changed, and I explained that I had rushed to get there based on the hours I had been given. The clerk agreed to allow me to leave my items and briefly explained the process. When I asked her to repeat the explanation, I realized that leaving the clothes would automatically indicate that I accepted their offer. I was not comfortable with that, so I asked to wait instead, which I was allowed to do. My clothes were then piled together, and I was offered $56 for approximately $400 worth of clothing. I asked how many items they intended to keep and was told nine. I decided to decline the offer and thanked the clerk for her time. At that point, she picked up the clothes I had carefully folded and shoved them back into the bag. When I later counted the items, there were actually 13--not nine. The entire experience left me feeling that the process could have been handled much more professionally and transparently. Clear communication about the hours, a straightforward explanation of the process, accurate information about the number of items being accepted, and respectful handling of customers' belongings would have made a significant difference. I understand that a business is not obligated to make an offer that a customer considers satisfactory, but I do expect honesty, transparency, and professionalism throughout the process.

I'm gonna hold on a strong four stars for Macy's after shopping them several times for Christmas…read more The service at the perfume counter was excellent and I made a purchase. The extensive stock of varieties of fragrances was quite remarkable. I was taken back by the prices, but they offer quality products like Chanel and Dior. I also got a watch adjusted from their watch department and was very satisfied. Unfortunately they were short of staff, so the wait exceeded 30 minutes. The adjustment was complimentary. Finally, my daughter tried on shoes and received excellent service. However, she did not find what she was looking for. I will continue to shop Macy's.

I've been a fan of Buckle for several years. A gal pal got me addicted to Lucky jeans and since…read morethen I have always bought jeans at Buckle. The staff make commission so they do tend to lean towards the overbearing side by bringing you a bunch of items and trying to get you to buy all kinds of things that you probably don't need, like, or want but they will cater to your needs and bring you whatever you want or ask for while you are in the store which can be nice if you know how to handle it... Since they no longer apparently carry the Lucky jeans I now wear their BKE but I am a picky jeans gal and am particular about the style of the back pockets. They have a beachy, shabby chic, grunge-type style if you ask me... torn and rhinestone jeans with faded T's and lots of Hurley stuff... I typically only buy jeans here - I do love them - but the shirts are not my style. My husband bought jeans, shirts, t-shirts, hats, flip flops, etc. I enjoy shopping here but, as I mentioned above, make sure you are firm about what you do and don't want or like when you first start working with one of the employees inside, otherwise they will waste your time showing you a bunch of things you probably won't even like or want to wear...

It's a Coastal Edge skater hip type of atmosphere that works for the current day. You can find the store at the front of the mall's new entrance. Plenty of surface parking just feet away. Also a garage is available. The store presented well with lots of displays of unisex clothing for teens. In the rear are skate boards and accessories. The Stance socks my son wanted run 15-$20+. There inventory was very low and the clerk apologized. They have yet to catch up from the Christmas rush. I also looked over their higher end Nike shoes. The inventory was pretty sweet and they had a deal for 50% off the second pair per the staff. I did find an exchange pair of socks and bought a three pack of Nike. There was a small issue with the return that was resolved nicely by the lady sales clerk. I would recommend and shop them again.

More of the same…read more... In my previous reviews of Tilly's and Buckle, I described Lynnhaven Mall's signature style as youthful (meaning under the age of 18), surfer, skater, preppy suburbanite. Along comes Zumiez, one of the newest stores added to the mix, and we are met with more of the same. Zumiez sells men's and women's surfer and skater brands in the most up to the minute styles. They certainly have more men's clothing and certainly all casual clothing, although there are a few really cute dresses here. The prices are on par with other stores offering similar brands. If you're lucky enough to catch a sale, you're in for some good deals.
