I have been buying clothes from Old Navy for years now. I love how comfortable but cute their clothes are. They also have good sales on some of their items, which I love. The store looks clean and organized and their fitting rooms have great lighting which is helpful when trying to decide on an outfit. Their customer service is good. I found that it's best to come shop her during the week earlier on the day. It can get busy on the weekends and that means waiting in a long line to check out. If you go at just the right time, you can score great deals on some great stuff! I got a few shirts for my little ones that were 50% off. C'mon, now! That's a great deal anywhere. I've never seen this store not have the cutest in season clothing. I often see the staff all around the store, like busy bee's sorting and putting items back where they belong. So it's usually tidy. Which helps you find what you're looking for. That makes for a great shopping experience. read more

A couple weeks ago Dear Hubby and I were coming back from an event in Ojai. I suggested that we stop at Pacific View Mall to get some walking in - it was cold and dark outside, so brisk mall walking is one of our fitness activities this time of year. He was actually having a foot issue, so decided to sit in the food court area and wait for me. As I was moving through the downstairs portion of the center, I came upon Old Navy. They'd been aggressively advertising that the whole store was 40% off (this was before Black Friday). I decided to drop in and see if there was anything worthwhile for the Christmas gift list. I did find some items as gifts. They carry some pro sports logo t-shirts, so I got a Lakers one for DH, as it was also close to his birthday. That was a lucky find. I also got a pair of really nice leggings and a jacket to complement - for my ongoing fitness journey. They've washed very well / am super happy with those purchases. The rest are waiting for Christmas to debut, but overall I am pleased with the merchandise. Why only three stars then? The store was not very clean. There was various debris on the floors; definitely enough to be noticeable and off-putting. Also, they only had one cashier working with a line growing. I caught the eye of an employee who was working on one of the display racks and asked her if there were more cashiers. She did come over and start checking. With all the television advertising they do, having enough staff to take care of the customers would be a good idea. Having someone push a broom around would also be welcome. read more

This Old Navy is located in the Pacific View Mall in Ventura. It is located conveniently across from Macys and is a large, open and clean location. I come here for their long-length jeans. It is very hard for me to find any other stores that regularly carry jeans in a cut that flatters me, and also long length for my height (I'm 6' tall). The staff at this location is polite and professional and the store has a good selection of styles and colors. They also have a pretty big section for clearance merchandise, and that's always fun to look through - usually it's the stuff from the previous season/theme. It's mid-summer right now and there are bathing suits up front for full price, and some in the back already, on clearance. The fitting rooms for this location are in the middle of the store, and I don't like that set-up as much as when they have them at the back, but it works. An employee sets you up in a fitting room and takes any unwanted merchandise when you're done. Overall, this is a convenient shopping experience and I enjoy coming here. read more

As I was taking my daily leisurely walk at the Pacific View Mall I happened to walk by Old Navy. I had to stop because I noticed an atrocious, nauseating smell coming from the store. I don't know what is the problem, but ever since then every time I walk by the store I smell the foul smell coming out of the Old Navy store. The workers really need to figure out what the smell is coming from and fix the issue! It smells like smelly armpits, because of the smell I will sadly never step foot in my favorite store Old Navy. read more

Old Navy is its own store...that is the best way to put it. This particular Old Navy is no different. Its right near the entrance of the Pacific View Mall in Ventura. It just recently underwent a whole-store remodel. The jury is still out on the remodel...I don't know if the store really needed it, but hey I guess it looks nice. The fitting rooms are now in the middle of the store instead of way in the back, that is kind of a nice touch. When I am at Pacific View shopping for anything else I always end up stopping by this Old Navy to check out what they have. I love their short sleeve button up shirts and the thing that always bring me back here is the clearance. That is my thing about Old Navy...when they put something on clearance they really put it on clearance. For example a pair of shorts that might have been 19 or 20 bucks is 5 bucks on clearance. That is totally worth my time to stop by and check everything out. I do find that I need to try everything on...for some odd reason it seems like Old Navy's sizes tend to vary with different types of garments. Not the biggest fan of those commercials with the talking mannequins but hey that wont stop me from shopping for bargains, right? :0) read more

The sales people are young and rude. Untrained. Don't care. Typical for this town. Tonight, my daughter and I came into this store. Yes, it was late and close to closing time. Mind you, no warning that they were closing up... at all. I asked this sales girl if they someone could reach up onto the 4th shelf and see if there was a size 7 boot. The ladder was right there, but I knew that I was not supposed to touch it. She abruptly said that they don't carry size 7. Did not care to look. She did not want to move the ladder that was 10 ft away (they DO carry size 7- I actually tried on a size 8 in another color). She told us that the registers were CLOSED and she would not look in the back for us. I never asked her to look in the back. Mind you- there were 6-7 customers still at the registers, so they were not closed. She stared us down until we realized that it was obvious that she wanted us to leave... so we put our items down and walked towards the front door. KIDS today in retail are SO SO lame. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Selfish. Rude. Uneducated and couldn't care less. It is a sad sign of the times... but girls like this sales person are the future. This is why so many brick and mortar stores are closing down. SO VERY SAD. read more

I received a gift card to old navy for my birthday. I was thinking to myself "what would I buy there?" I never had even been in an old navy. Recently I've been looking for a place to buy lounge clothes, you know clothes that aren't pajamas, but stuff that comfortable to wear around home. I used to shop at aerie for these items, but now aerie only sells bikinis. So I found myself at old navy, and was I ever surprised! I found sweatpants, cute shorts, tops, and rompers there! All made out of soft material that you want to sleep in. And better yet, it was really cheap! Seems to be well made too. So in the last week, I've been there twice to buy clothes. Mayra manager at Old Navy store does not give up.... I saw a T shirt in the window at the Pacific View mall in beautiful Ventura. Had to have it...had the perfect saying on the front. I went in and couldn't find any more. I checked the size of the only one left. It was on the mannequin. Small. I couldn't get my big toe in that! That put me on a quest. Went through that store with my radar and GPS in high gear, I would find one a large or medium. I grabbed a busy girl and asked for help. It was Mayra. She dropped everything to go through the entire store to find if even one left? No more. None. She would not be stopped, and went on for 15 min. checking every rack and shelf. I had to admit..I had given.up but not Mayra. She would not be stopped. Wait she says. One more place in the back to look..off she goes. Comes back with a medium and a large size Pinkish T Shirt that said "Rosie Days Ahead" on the front. That's it! She grinned as I thanked her for her extra effort.. Can i just write a review without a star? Coz they don't deserve even a single star for me. I am so dissapointed on how the Manager handle my complaint. Bought a polo blouse, went home , 2 weeks later I found out that the censor tag is still on it.. and i already lost my receipt... So brought it back to the store, and explained. And the manager said. If you don't have the receipt there is nothing I can do. I told him im notnleaving the store with the censor tag still on the shirt.. and then he told me to step aside coz there still alot of costumers need to check out. He said straight to my face "I cant take that off, i can't help you would u step aside pls"""??? Wow really. So i stepped outside the store call the corp. And yes they tracked my purchase. Get back to the store and the manager calls me "I can help you right over here""" i told him now u can help me?? I told you you will take it off right??
