I've gotten a stylish navy blue trench coat there and found shorts on sale for amazing prices. Yesterday I found a great pair of lounging shorts for $5! I spotted a very cool cowl neck cotton pullover for my partner which was just in as well. At $29, it looked just like the one that sells for $195 at Allsaints Spitalfields or James Perse. From time to time, they will partner with high-end designers to bring a special capsule collection to the store. Right now, they're featuring French designer Isabel Marant. In the past, they've had collections by Viktor & Rolf, Jimmy Choo, Karl Lagerfeld, Versace, Stella McCartney, Roberto Cavalli, Comme des Garçons, Matthew Williamson and Sonia Rykiel. The prices were the same or lower as the competitor stores and really reasonable considering whatever you purchase will probably outlive you! Their clothes are super tough and durable beyond what you'd expect! I found a great thicker fall seasonal T-shirt at a great price that I can't wait to wear! Their packaging is very nice and if you purchase something as a gift for someone, the bag can easily be used for that!

Initially, the price offered was very low, despite the business taking 50% of the sale. After some discussion, I agreed, trusting her because I was a frequent shopper at her shop. When signing, I asked if we should write down the details, but she said, "We talked about it, it's fine." We signed a 90-day contract--if it didn't sell, she'd contact me to decide next steps. After 90 days, I visited her shop. She seemed surprised and became aggravated when I started asking questions about the item because the things she was saying weren't adding up. I reminded her of the agreed terms, but she denied we had agreed. When she asked if I had proof, I realized I did not, which showed her true colors. She completely took advantage of me because she knew it was my first time reselling an item not knowing much about it. Seeing this, I chose to stop arguing. She had taken advantage of my trust. I decided to handle things properly and requested my payment. However, she kept delaying payment until I filed a complaint with the BBB and considered legal action. Only then did she finally pay. I do not recommend this business based on my experience. If I would've known it was going to be such a hassle because she was being difficult, I would've never even sold it at all. After all to me it wasn't even about the money it was more about the dissatisfaction and disappointment I had with her breaking the trust of a client who's gone for years. This massive mall with nearly 2M square feet of space for up to 200 retailers is always an interesting experience. The repertoire of shops here, of course, has changed over the years. Gone are shops like Sears, Borders and Circuit City. Now there's more contemporary replacements like Kohls, Hobby Lobby and Primark. While many traditional indoor malls are dying a slow, painful death, Gurnee Mills seems to be thriving at least to some extent. The food court is still quite active and the storefronts still seem largely occupied. I particularly enjoy places like 2nd & Charles, the aforementioned Primark and Five Below. The food options like Starbucks, Cinnabon and Charley's Steaks are quite good for a drink, a snack or a light meal. There are also places for the kids to play. All of this housed in a pleasant facility continues to make Gurnee Mills an enjoyable place to visit.
