I find interesting items I find nowhere else, and while their prices are consistent with other stores, their sale items make them more affordable. There is even a comfortable place to sit! I have purchased tops, purses, outerwear, scarves, jewelry, and other items. Easy to miss since it is north of Casa Bonita and before the train tracks, up a couple of stairs. But with such a uniquely-vintage location and terrific items and service, it is worth the extra steps. Easy parking right in front, or in the copious parking lots around the corner on Lake Street. Most of the items are Made in China and I would stay away from the extremely cheap items - they don't hold up well upon use. e.g. the little barrettes for little girls don't snap well. Additionally, they are upside down if you try to use the matching ones on either side of the head. :-) Much of the merchandise is typically found in any accessory section and is priced very competitively. If you ask for even a better deal, you would probably succeed - the owners are very sweet and eager to please. My only real complaint would be the restricted hours. The store was the only filled store in this little strip for a very long time, but now there are some neighbors to help pull in more customers. I'm sure they will be able to hire clerks and expand their hours eventually. For now, they close early and are not open on Sunday. If you love to have a variety of costume jewelry, or have a little girl, you will be a regular customer.
