The Carhartt store in Gurnee has everything you need to tackle the outdoors and tough jobs! It's a newer store and laid out nice. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. They had a great variety of attire from head to toe with every size available even 2x! The prices were the same or lower as the competitor stores and really reasonable considering whatever you purchase will probably outlive you! Their clothes are super tough and durable beyond what you'd expect! I found a great thicker fall seasonal T-shirt at a great price that I can't wait to wear! Their packaging is very nice and if you purchase something as a gift for someone, the bag can easily be used for that! read more

DON"T BUY..TERRIBLE CUSTOMER PRODUCT SUPPORT!! I purchased a pair of Carhartt gloves. The first time I wore them the finger seam came apart as the stitching had not caught when they were made. I have sent multiple emails along with detailed pictures to their customer product support team as they instructed me for the past 6 weeks. The have yet to respond back to me. Funny part of this store is no one follow COVID guidelines and they questioned me about my healthcare worker license. And managers are some 20 years old kids who doesn't know how to do a simple math and needs help of the associates.They just hang out in a group and talks about customers after they leave.And also had a COVID outbreak in store due to which they end up closing store for 1-2 days.They need a better mature management who knows how to respect customers. read more

What can I say about this location... Upon arrival I was greeted by the staff, asked if I needed any help, I said I was browsing since I did not know what I was looking for, the gentleman said, okay I will leave to and shop at peace... Oh my ears loved the sound of that ... He gave me a small card that contained the sales and items included in the sale at the time... Upon browsing the store, I noticed how everything is so beautifully organized and well stocked. Store is very clean, staff is wearing mask (covid times).... I purchased clothing from Carhartt in the Gurnee Illinois location for my husband for Christmas, I had to return some of the items after Christmas because they didn't fit, the staff was so amazing especially Brett,Natalie,Hannah, and Bob! My husband accidentally left an insulin vial in the returned hoodie pocket after trying on the item Christmas morning. We searched high and low for it and couldn't find it! After doing the return, the awesome store associates called Costco Phamacy who then contacted me to let me know that they had found it and that they would keep it safe till I could pick it up! I was so impressed with this store. I went in to purchase some Christmas gifts and ended up purchasing way more than I anticipated. Not only did they have great quality clothes the customer service is what sets this place apart from so many places. I felt like I stepped back into a time machine when customer service was valued. Simply phenomenal. There was extra stock in back so when I couldn't find my size he was able to bring out more and also recommend similar sizes as well. While shopping he genuinely checked in on me. At checkout they supplied boxes and tissue paper!!! This is something most places no longer have. I will be back. To add, I bought a pair of khakis with flannel liner. I had never been to a Carhartt store before. I've seen the logo everywhere and have heard tales of the great quality. I saw this store was there and got excited. I went in on Black Friday, and was helped by Ryan, who I didn't know until the end was the store manager. He was super helpful and friendly, and was able to answer every question I had. I've enjoyed stopping at various Carhartt stores as I travel. We're in the area at least once a year to visit family and made the trip to Gurnee this summer. This Carhartt store has a good selection and the staff is willing to help...but not too pushy. I'd like to see more of the Carhartt hunting gear in store but I'm guessing that selection depends on the store's geographical location. I'll definitely be stopping in again! read more
