Terrible customer service. Rude owner accused me of having an attitude after a good impression when dropping off 29 upscale clothing items in June. My texts were ignored when asking status of my sales. I moved out of state and thought I was leaving items with an honest person that would pay me for sold goods. I am in town for Thanksgiving and called Nina for status and payment, said she would call back was busy with a customer. Never called back. Stopped there yesterday and requested payment. Was told she would Zelle by the close of the day. I have contacted the Grayslake Police dept and they recently have other complaints of nonpayment and rude behavior. We came here just to browse and a lot of it seemed like more of a high-end consignment situation so I really didn't think we'd find anything and I was extremely wrong. From cheaper boots for my kid, a $30 cashmere scarf for my mom, and a super cool necklace for myself that was somehow only $20 to a $200 vintage mink I absolutely fell in love with, we made out like absolute bandits and the staff were so nice. If you are a person looking to sell your goods and utilize the service of Wild Raspberry Resale, I offer your strong caution. I have reached out to Nina, owner (stopped in five separate times over the last year) and have left at least 4 voicemail messages and multiple emails to her over the last year - and never once have I gotten my issues resolved. After nearly a dozen in-person, emails, voicemails to Nina, I still have not gotten any $ for the items that they have sold. In my in-person cking in on this 2 weeks ago, Nina said to me "Oh, do you want a ck issued? Well, you have to ask for a ck" The signatured agreement I have with her is they will mail a ck quarterly - you do no have to ask for it. And once again, I'm being given a promise "you'll get the ck in next weeks mail". I never do. Additionally, the items I brought to her, she and her husband decided to inventory them under two accounts. Nearly a year later, I still do not have access to the inventory to one of the accounts - she has promised me multiple times that she will email me the access to the 2nd account. I'm always told by Nina, she'll get me access but it never happens. It's frustrating at best let alone I feel I'm being totally taken advantage of. Again, I caution those that are trying to utilize this service to sell your goods. I most definitely would not recommend them. All you'll get is ignored, the run around and not reimbursed for items of yours they sell - at least that has been my experience over the last years' timeframe. DO NOT GO HERE, SCAM ARTISTS AND LIARS, they accused my mentally ill sister and 4 year old that they lost a bed post to an American Doll Bed which is impossible due to how hard it is to take off, they claimed they would NEVER put as it on the floor, the bed was $25 came with bedding, I sent pic and they blamed us, said we can get the other bed for 40% off, for one thing the bed was missing a main part, but I figured I can deal with 40% off $25, said I was coming in Wens. Went in and the bed with 4 posts no bedding and a dirty nightgown was retagged to $52. I asked how can this be, this makes no sense from blaming us for taking the ball off to doubling the price and she then claimed that the bedding belonged to the $52 bed that we switched, I then again said that my sister is not a thief. I said the ball was missing period, she said are you calling the 4 of us are liars..the day I bought the bed it was just the owner and her husband?? was no where to be seen. I told her I didn't want the $120 used American girl for my daughter and that my sister is mentally ill I don't want it was said several times, she rang my sister up for everything and the doll and bed. She took advantage of someone who has Schizophrenia and has been non medicated in months. She then said I think you should leave. Half of a bed, called my 4 year old and sick sister liars. Changed the price tag, lied and said they all knew the balls were on the bed..I am still in shell shock from this mess. Buy 2 get one free, well $27 doll 7 Jeans even one free is a joke. Well not only taking advantage of the mentally ill, I found out from neighbors that they asked about their statement and there wasn't one. Will be looking into that read more
