Hands down very reasonably priced items as well as being nice quality for a thrift store. Love their dollar tent out back.

Ask the Community - Loved Twice Thrift Boutique

Do they buy clothes or just sell?

Hi Linda, Loved Twice takes in donations of clothing that are then either sold at the store or shared with local churches' clothing closets. We do not purchase clothes. Thanks for your question!

They are a bit understaffed and more than a bit overwhelmed. Sometimes donations just get left…read moreoutside in the rain. There's a delay between donation and being sorted and cleaned and put on shelves with prices. The store itself is overstocked and a little hard to find sizes. On the other hand, prices are very good if you can find something decent, so if you're into the hunt, this might by your jam.

these people treated me horribly. I asked for a price on a VERY worn down side table. Water damage,…read morestains, things falling apart. There was no tag so i asked a price and the lady helping said $40 I said that's too expensive and that I'd go somewhere else because I know there's one for cheaper at a different thrift store. She bumped it down to $25 so I said sure. I paid. Waited 30 MINUTES watching workers with empty trollies passing me multiple times, so I asked ANOTHER worker. Finally a man brings one and starts loading it and that's when I'm told "oh you gotta bring your car around to the back and I can't lift it into the car" I WISH SOMEONE TOLD ME BEFORE HAND. So I drove to what I thought the back was, and then walked around to the front again because no one was there. I asked a worker and started to state my concerns. SHE CUTA ME OFF, TURNS AROUND AND LEAVES. And I see the man again. That's when they tell me "oh you gotta take the side street to get to the back back" So I walk all the way back to my car and I pull up. I am extremely frustrated at this point for how they're treating me and the horrible communication. So I show that frustration. I start loading my desk in the car and then the guy is holding onto it as if I didn't pay and is forcing himself trying to help me. I told him MULTIPLE TIMES "stop, I got this" "you said it yourself it's against policy. You make me do all this and NOW you decide to -help-???" "Leave me alone! LEAVE ME ALONE!" I had to hit his fingers to get him to let go. I'm telling them they have shit communication and have horrible customer service. Waiting half an hour to be forgotten about and having to remind them that "hey. I'm still here.... I said I was ready..... I've been waiting over 30 minutes" I usually don't get upset like this until I'm pushed beyond breaking point. Never going here again! Edit: I will NEVER give you guys another chance and I'll be warning everyone I talk to about this location and to steer clear. F you guys and your team

Prices are high for donated things. But occasionally there is a find that makes it worth the time…read morespent there.

I've given this store TONS of business over the past few years & used to love it & always spoke…read morevery highly of it. But the last couple of times I've shopped at CTS, the cashiers randomly picked items that they decided "weren't priced right" and refused to sell them, telling me they would be repriced (i.e.higher) the next day & that I could come back for them. What?!?! The first time, it was a large bowl that the cashier said someone had changed tags on & she went in to tell me they've been having"issues" with that lately...she even unsuccessfully tried to peel one tag off the other. I really question whether such an "issue" exists...I mean, I understand tag switching can be an issue in retail, but who randomly switches tags and then leaves the items on the shelves for other people to buy?! My guess is that whoever tags their items made some sort of mistake and placed a 2nd tag directly over the first...I couldn't even tell there were two tags when I put the bowl in my cart. Funny enough, when I returned the next day AT OPENING, the bowl miraculously was no longer in the store. Hmmmmm! The other was tonight when I brought up several items including a sewing kit/box that was priced at $5.95. She rang up everything else in my order, and then when she got to the sewing kit, she looked it over with great interest then said it was priced too low & refused to sell it! Given that their pricing structure is usually 25% of what you'd expect to pay retail, and a new sewing box of this type on Amazon is $20, the ticketed price was right in line, but NOPE...clerk-lady said it would be repriced the next day and that I could come back for it. Ummm yeah right...wanna bet she is going to take it home for herself?! Not honoring their tagged prices is such a an odd and unfortunate way to do business, especially with some of their most loyal (and lucrative) customers. :-/

My printer/scanner went AWOL today and I panicked. After trying all the troubleshooting…read morerecommended in the service manuals and calling another geek friend, to no avail, I found this service on the internet. Jeffery came within 2 hours of my SOS....and found that he had to uninstall and reload all the software. Got me up and running again. My equipment is dated; I need a new computer and printer....and Jeffrey offered installation and set up services whenever I purchase my new machines. Working from home is great....BUT....when things go wrong with your PC and printer/scanner....unless one is an expert, you are in a bind. It is such a relief to know I now have Click Point iT and Jeff as my backup. Thank you, Jeff...you saved my day and I think this will be the beginning of a new working relationship.

My computer suddenly stopped connecting to the internet one day. I ran all kinds of diagnostic…read moreprograms and they all came out with no errors or viruses. I even brought computer to @@@@@max for a diagnostics test and my pc still did not work. Jeff from Click Point iT came to my house and fixed the issue in about 10 minutes. Jeff was a great guy and he communicated well. He fixed my pc's issue for less than half the price of most "experts'" charge. He definitely knows what he's doing and earned himself a future costumer. I would definitely recommend him to friends, family, and other people having pc issues. Give him a call, you've got nothing to lose. -Eddie, Waukegan IL
