Haven`t went inside this store in ages. So I went in and I have to say nothing to buy here for me. Clothing are made for kids and teenagers. Clothings seems to be a downgrade from Gap. Not my style.

I was helped by Paul, one of the managers, who was very helpful and knowledgeable, and not pushy in the least. He helped us through the entire process, and we ended up paying far less than I had anticipated. I thoroughly advise anyone looking for a nice suit to at least give this location a shot, as I genuinely feel the staff there couldn't have been more helpful and accommodation to me.

Karin introduced himself to my fiance only, shook his hand, and abruptly turned around to lead us towards the back of the store. My fiance said, "This is Selena." Karin replied, "Yep!" and continued walking without turning around. I responded audibly with, "...Okay?" No response. It was quite audible, since I was feeling irritated. When we reached the back of the store, Karin pulled 1 chair out, motioned for my fiance to sit, and said that someone will be with us shortly. He never made eye contact with me. I later noticed that he was walking around eating a celery stick, then sat down in a chair to watch the TV they had mounted on the wall. The person who helped us in the back was sweet, but also quite timid, so I didn't think it would be valuable to vent about Karin to her. I sent an email to their customer service instead. My fiance wanted my opinion before moving forward with his suit rentals, especially since he doesn't know what colour my wedding dress is and I want the suits to complement it. You can imagine what my firm decision was after that experience.

Party dresses are always a must for the female's closet. From that wild pink tutu dress for hanging out with the young crowd to that classy, but attractively understated satin dress for more sophisticated events, I'm sure all the females out there agree with me that two dresses for "the occasion" is a feminine essential. To me, RW & Co. makes the perfect pretty, classy and attractively understated party dress for gals. While it's not in the tutu spectrum of things, it's definitely one for the sophisticated events. Though at original price (usually around or above $50), RW & Co. dresses are in the pricey range for me, I always just walk in and mentally keep in mind on what I want. Then, I wait. Camping quietly and checking up on the prices and sales rack, I wait for the dress I've been eying on to have its price slashed. When that moment it does, I pounce! (Isn't this almost comparable to a National Geographic documentary?) There's always their special "friends and family" discount sale from time to time (usually one per season). Usually the most they give is a 20% off discount...but guess what happened this last Sunday? A 30% off the last ticketed price! And oh what's that? That grey, made in Canada, bubble party dress I've been eying had gone down from $78 to $59. Another 30% off of that? Needless to say, I bought it! And I'm very pleased with its quality and at the price I bought it! Their camis are also very nice in quality, so I grabbed a few to take advantage of the 30% off discount. I've bought some sweaters from them before, and am still loving them! With each of my purchases, they gave me one, small size, reusable, "eco-friendly" bags to put my items in for free, and told me that if I bring the bag back in for my next purchase, I would get $1 off. Not a great deal, but it's nice to know they're encouraging people to use the reusable bags by giving them away with their purchases and a small discount. Since a month ago they've moved diagonally across from where they were once at Metrotown. The new store is much bigger, and much more organized with plenty of space for one to maneuver in. All in all, RW & Co. have some pretty nice styles for both men and women, especially in terms of business wear. Though the original price is a bit much, I'd suggest everyone to wait for those discounts.

uniqlo sits in that sweet spot where everything looks simple, but somehow you still end up buying…read moremore than planned. it's calm, practical, and very easy to browse and shop, clean layouts, neutral colours, and pricing that makes everything feel reasonable in the moment. this location in particular feels spacious and well organized, especially with the two floor layout. neatly arranged sections, wide walkways, and that signature uncluttered look. the wood flooring and bright lighting give it a warm, almost showroom like feel, and everything is folded with that very precise consistency. what also makes this metrotown location stand out is that it's one of the very few in canada that offers utme, their in store custom tshirt and tote printing service. you can design something on the spot and have it printed fairly quickly, which adds a more interactive, personalized element you don't usually get at most uniqlo stores. it may not officially be a "flagship," but features like this make it feel a bit more elevated than your average location. their fabric lines are still the real hook: heattech is built for layering in colder weather. it's thin but surprisingly warm, which works perfectly for vancouver's kind of damp cold. airism is the opposite, light, breathable, and moisture wicking. their airism tshirts are especially reliable for everyday wear: comfortable, easy, and low maintenance. beyond basics, uniqlo keeps things interesting with ut graphics and collaborations. you'll find everything from playful designs like miffy, mofusand, and even kpop group baby monster to more design forward partnerships with roger federer and jw anderson. what stands out most is the consistency. hoodies, tees, and outerwear all feel dependable in both fit and quality. it's the kind of place where you go in for something specific (like a birthday gift) and leave with a few extras that just make sense. and yeah, the vancouver situation still feels a bit limited. compared to tokyo, where uniqlo is everywhere, even inside both major airports, it feels more like a destination here. having to head out to metropolis at metrotown, cf richmond centre, or coquitlam centre makes it more of a planned trip. a downtown vancouver location would fit in naturally (pacific centre would be perfect, hint, hint), especially given how well their basics suit everyday city life. overall, uniqlo keeps things straightforward, but does it well enough that you always come back.

The most improved and most tech savvy store in Metrotown IMO…read more Zara @Metrotown has been renovated and it looks like one of those high end stores. The floor is well designed and organized so customers can view most of the merchandise all at once. There aren't that many mirrors on the floor though which I thought was smart. This will prevent customers from trying on clothes outside the fitting rooms. When people try on clothes out on the floor, it makes the store look crowded and disorganized. It's better for the store and the customers to go to the fitting rooms instead. What really caught my attention was how easy it is to pick up an online order. There's a corner where you can scan your QR code and your order is delivered in front of you like a soda can in a vending machine. I thought it was really cool! In addition, there are self-checkout machines where you can pay and bag your merchandise on your own. It's all so easy. The instructions are all enumerated on the screen and are easy to follow. I'm loving this whole new contactless checkout and online pickup! Kudos to Zara.

There's such an ease to the clothing - it never looks like the designs are trying too hard. A silk blend tank top will run about $79-99. I remember being in high school and I bought my first Club Monaco top that wasn't a sweatshirt (I wish I hadn't given mine away). It was a long sleeved, french cuff, butter milk coloured silk shirt. The quality was amazing. The only reason why I don't have it anymore is because someone had spilled Pepsi all over it. Yes Women can get customed shirts, suits, jackets and you name it. Well they to have to tailor and alternate it a bit more for women than for men. I walked in with an one hour appointment with their designer/specialist. It does take an hour for them to measure me and mark all measurements down. I tried on a suit (top and bottom), a vest, a coat and a shirt. Yes they have some generic size and they would pin you down to get the exact measurements. Then we went on to choose the fabric and the other nick nacks. Nick nacks like things I would not even know would be an option for a woman. Examples would be the types of color, the types of pockets (slanted or straight), The seam, pin hole and etc. After all that is done. They would review your order and then send it off to China to be made. The process was quite fun and educational too. Overall, I had a good experience. The people are friendly here. Customer service was excellent. I was offered water when I was being measured. I suggest going to their store to get measured than trying to do it yourself. Its a lot easier. I ended up ordering a suit, 5 shirts and 1 coat. The coat didn't fit me properly when it arrived. It was slightly too small. If the garment doesn't fit, you have a bout 10 days to bring it back. They had me wore the coat at the showroom and I told them where it was small. They made some adjustment and then sent it back to be remade. The coat arrived and I am very happy.
