The most improved and most tech savvy store in Metrotown IMO…read more Zara @Metrotown has been renovated and it looks like one of those high end stores. The floor is well designed and organized so customers can view most of the merchandise all at once. There aren't that many mirrors on the floor though which I thought was smart. This will prevent customers from trying on clothes outside the fitting rooms. When people try on clothes out on the floor, it makes the store look crowded and disorganized. It's better for the store and the customers to go to the fitting rooms instead. What really caught my attention was how easy it is to pick up an online order. There's a corner where you can scan your QR code and your order is delivered in front of you like a soda can in a vending machine. I thought it was really cool! In addition, there are self-checkout machines where you can pay and bag your merchandise on your own. It's all so easy. The instructions are all enumerated on the screen and are easy to follow. I'm loving this whole new contactless checkout and online pickup! Kudos to Zara.

We explained several times that we were shopping together and planned to pay for everything at once, but the interaction was unprofessional and uncomfortable. The store manager was present but offered absolutely no assistance, no explanation, and no effort to resolve the situation. There was no disrespect from the manager, but the complete lack of response and indifference made the whole experience even more frustrating. This level of customer service is unacceptable for a brand of this size.

I am forced to add star rating to post my review. This location do not deserve any star. My…read morehusband gave them a lot of business buying work shoes for himself for years and paying his workers to buy work shoes every year during their sale. My husband brought me there on the last day of their annual sale one time and persuaded me to buy a pair. I carefully selected a black leather easy walk shoes which I intended to use for both work and walk with my husband. I tried a pair in 7.5. My toes were touching the front and I tried hard to pull my toes back a bit. A sales lady told me that was the only size they had and was impatient trying to push me to complete a sale. My own pair of shoes that day was in size 8 and was comfortable. I was hesitant with this 7.5 SAS. She kept saying my own shoes were too big for me and that the easy walk in 7.5 fitted me well. At the end, I lost the battle and was coned into buying it. Every time I wear the shoes, I hate myself. The shoes were not cheap over $220 plus tax if I remember correctly. The leather is good quality and the shoes are comfortable inside. But I struggle to find more room in front of my toes. I wear the thinnest socks I can find every time. I wear it in occasions when I don't have to walk a lot for example sitting in the office because I expect my feet will expand after walking so the shoes will be even tighter. One day I wore it to walk with my husband as I don't have walking shoes. I had blisters all over my toes as I walked and both feet were sore for days. Now it can only sit on my shoe rack while I paid over $220 without a pair of shoes that I can use. This pair of SAS is my first and also last. I would not recommend this shoe store. For over $200, you can buy many trendy good looking comfortable shoes from good service sales people without trying to push you to meet their target.
