If you are a real gourmand, then this restaurant is for you: IMC Restaurant & Bar in Huntington,…read moreNew York. As a true connoisseur, you know that the distance traveled is often a small price to pay for culinary perfection. Making the trek from Brooklyn was a pilgrimage that paid off in every bite. Dining at this establishment is less of a meal and more of a choreographed performance where every ingredient plays its part to perfection. Several dishes merit special mention. The evening began with a Watermelon Salad that redefined refreshment. Each vibrant cube of melon arrived with a crisp, crystalline texture, cleverly balanced by salty flourishes and herbal notes that felt like a cool breeze on a humid evening. It was followed by the Sweet Chilli Shrimp, a dish that struck a delicate chord between fire and honey. The shrimp were plump and oceanic, draped in a glaze that hummed with a sophisticated, creeping heat. Then came the crescendo: the steaks. The Wagyu was an absolute masterclass in decadence, possessing a buttery marble that seemed to dissolve upon contact, leaving behind a rich, lingering umami. In contrast, the Ribeye offered a more rugged, soul-satisfying experience--perfectly charred, deeply flavorful, and dripping with an earthy intensity that only the finest cuts can achieve. To close, the Floating Island and Tiramisu were a dream rendered in sugar and air. Beyond the words, just weightless finale to an otherwise powerful gastronomic journey. With a party of four, the portions were quite generous. We even had leftovers to take home and revisit the exceptional flavors the next day." Whether you are coming from around the corner or making the drive from Brooklyn, IMC delivers a level of hospitality and flavor that makes every mile worth it. Try it - you won't regret the trip. I. They even served French fries in the morning. We had a really nice experience.

A hard no. This is why Yelp has and will remain the Go To for homest reviews. The disparity of…read moreGoogle vs yelp gives you a closer idea of what you can expect. Basically its way too high priced rent most likely and a gimmick of unlimited which sounds questionable -delivering you the customer intermittent tidbits of cheap over cooked oiled up meat snacks - At no point was there more than one small bit of a thin 1/4 slice on a plate. It's not an actual meal. The photos show the nonsense of this concept. So the visiting person slices a piece or two of something off of a metal skewer. It's all very measured to encourage small amounts and spacing. Basically you're their economic enemy if you want an actual entre portion. One round was actual hard grizzle with oil and spices. (My poor mom's allergies were triggered and kicked off and we left a bit earlier than the rest.) So this visiting meat slice guy comes by with various oiled up dryish or tough cubes or slices.. it could be s sliver of lamb, bacon over a chicken and or beef cube.. near the end a sliver of dryish rib eye.. but its super thin and may be a quartet of an actual slice of this long awaited I suppose sliver of what was a dryish portion of rib eye meat. It was all low level dining. We were being courteous and fell victim. This is. mixed with a buffet - the buffet is an underused salad bar people clearly walk past or avoid. Some street corn salad and olives - but any egg salad or other items scared me because no one was at the salad bar. Some creepy salad bar items were left on our plates as shown. There was an omelette / mini waffle station for a bit closing down around 145-2. Tried a mini waffle. So for 5 of us for lunch, tax and tip just under $400. Only three of us ordered a beverage. Drinks would have put this in at $500. Neither a decent lunch or a value. More like a tourist trap for locals. The young people were exceptionally courteous and respectful. They were a pleasure. They were super responsive and genuinely enjoyed the work and the guests. This is not the quality you would get at the two Argentinian steakhouses up north in Huntington - not by a mile. In this case two lol. But again all nice people and a nice atmosphere and convenient.
