We go to this place at least once a month when we go to our cabin in Pine. It's a great place for all pizza, wings, and buffalo chips.

We're staying in Strawberry Inn for the very first time. So we're looking for a place for dinner and we had passed Old County the day before and saw that it looked very busy which is a good sign for a small town. So I looked up the reviews and of course the menu. The Pancho pie caught my attention with the yummy ingredients. So we went and I ordered the Pancho pie, chicken wings and a Lavender drop drink. I couldn't believe how big the wings were and the Pancho pie was delicious. The flavors were yummy. I definitely will take a drive from Prescott to have the "Pancho pie"again. I told our waitress to please let the cook know who made the "Pancho pie" that it was delicious. So hat's off to cook for creating up the delicious "Pancho pie" read more

Wowwww this place is sooooo cute!!! If you're looking for a cozy, friendly restaurant with yummy pizza then this is the place to be!! There's an outside covered patio by a fireplace that was super cute and I loved how they offer blankets for those who are cold. It's the sweetest thing and first time I've seen a restaurant like this! You can also sit inside in both the main restaurant and they have a little extension in the back called the Tap House. I believe the tap house sometimes have live music! It's a small bar area but felt very cozy. Our waiter Chris provided great service and made us feel at home! Although the space was small, it did not feel cramped. We were able to converse with other customers in the tap house without shouting and everyone was so friendly! The pizzas were AMAZINGGGGGG! I got the white pizza, my friend got the spinach artichoke chicken and my other friend got the special: philly cheese steak pizza. Ooowweeeee were those some tasty pies!! We will definitely come back for more. Next time we'll have to try the meat pie, recommended by some friendly customers. There's an outside patio to play backyard games such as giant connect four and cornhole!! It's such a great place to hang out and visit if you're in the payson area. Old County Inn had a very chill vibe which we thoroughly enjoyed. There were some customers that were very familiar with Chris and the other employees. You can tell they run a great business and have regulars. Thank you for your hospitality Old County Inn! We will definitely be back!! read more

Wowoweewow. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Since it was GORGEOUS out, of course the patio was packed. We were able to wait in the Tap Room, which is a separate small bar area that has open seating as well. SUCH A COOL SPOT. Definitely pop into the Tap Room even if you get seating immediately. We (2 people) shared an appetizer and a pizza; ended up being MORE than enough! 1) Green Chili Beer Cheese - MUST TRY. If you have a dairy allergy, get it, worth the risk (just kidding, please please don't). First of all, I would eat all of those bread sticks by themselves and be the happiest duck. However, they were indeed the perfect dipping apparatus for that luscious cheese. 2) Don Elote Pizza (special) - Okay, I may be biased on this one since I'm a sucker for elote corn, but I have to say this is one of my new top favorite pizzas. I'm sad that it was only a special, but if you see this on the specials board, don't hesitate to get it. All their pizzas are fairly large with a perfectly crispy but not too crispy crust. The Don Elote specifically was LOADED on toppings. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. of those toppings worked beautifully together. Not too spicy and not overloaded on cheese or seasoning. Pure perfection. Service was top notch. The bartender (sorry I don't remember the name!) in the tap room was very helpful and descriptive with their drinks on tap Our waitress, Simone, was so funny and gave us a great tip to keep the beer cheese to dip our pizza crust in! read more

Great pizza and fast service. Only downside is this place is popular with tourists and locals so you may have to wait a bit. But worth the wait. read more

Cider and pizzas were delish! We got there about 15 minutes after opening on a Sunday and they were already busy. We had to wait about 10 mins for a waitress to acknowledge and seat us. Service seemed to depend on the luck of the waitress you get but other than that, we had a great time and plan to come back when in the area. read more

Fantastic food with great service in a beautiful indoor/outdoor environment with live music. What more could you ask for? Their pizza is delicious and their breadsticks are to die for. Sit at the bar to avoid waiting for a table. Live music outdoors on the weekends provides a chill vibe to sit and eat with family and friends. read more

This place is so unique, I loved it. There is a huge patio and they had live music. The inside is small and has a bar. Everyone was friendly and the bartender took his time making each drink fresh. The pretzels with the green Chile beer sauce was so good, I couldn't stop eating it, it was a good size also. The pizza was good and thin. I will definitely go back when I am in the area again. read more

What a great little roadside establishment. We took a nice day trip from Lost Dutchman State Park to visit Payson. However, there wasn't a lot going on there so we continued up the road and came across Old County Inn. They have great space for seating inside and out. We chose a seat at the bar and got incredible service from Chris - who made some great craft cocktails, includIng a fully loaded Bloody Mary. For our lunch, we intentionally over-ordered to ensure we would have leftovers for dinner. Everything was spot on! We started with the Beet Salad and some of the better wings we've had in a while. The food fired pizza was fantastic. If you live in Pine, you already know about this joint. But, if you are looking a destination at the end of a day trip, this is your spot. read more

Fabulous pizza in the middle of the mountains, better than most Italian places in ANY city where ever your from. Great salads, and appetizers, my favorite is the green chili beer cheese with their breadsticks. I have had about 4-5 of their signature pizzas and they all are great. Of course I'm partial to a couple of them over the other ones but overall generally speaking, depending on what you like it will be a good choice, if not a great choice. I don't write reviews about the service or the ambience because to me that has nothing to do with is the food good or not so I will leave it up to you and your opinion about the service and the ambience. Enjoy. read more

I've been here many times and love the pizza. Came in today, they told us it would be an hour for a table so we drove up the road a bit and they had it ready within 30 minutes which is great. Our 2 year old fell asleep so we decided to order food to go. It literally took 1.5 hours to get two pizzas and cheese and breadsticks to go. I've never waited this long in my life for take out food, especially not pizza. Our server was unapologetic and we paid our $80 tab and left. We were going to eat the pizza in their middle area but our two year old was exhausted so we headed home without enjoying our pizza there. Just make sure you set aside PLENTY of time or get there at 11 when to they first open. If you don't get there early then expect 30-45 minutes or longer for a table and apparently atleast 1 hour or longer for food. They could care less if you have kids that are starving or if you need to leave earlier and food isn't ready. Love this place but they need to get adequate staffing if they are busy or warn people it will take over an hour for a couple pizzas. read more

Great food and service. Definitely check this place out!! I ordered the bbq chicken pizza and was blown away such a good flavor and don't forget for a side of ranch for dipping read more

This place is super trendy and popular and they do have great food. However, their service and customer relations is awful. They always have extremely long waits, and don't really communicate with you when your food is done. We have waited over 45 min without communication from our servers on multiple occasions. I tried calling in an order on a Sunday afternoon, and got no answer on the phone after calling 3 times, so I just assumed they were busy and didn't have anyone to answer the phone. I went down there and tried ordering a to go in person, fully aware I would be waiting a long time - and then they tell me that they aren't doing to go orders right now... ?? Just super confusing and annoying. If you are looking for good pizza, this place is awesome - but be aware that you will most likely spend over 3 hours here per visit. read more

Not a negative thing to say about this place. Some of the best pizza I feel in the state, great atmosphere, dig the cocktails. Last time we got to go we were able to sit in the small bar area, and the bartender did a great job taking care of us. Will keep going back for sure! read more

We took a day trip to get out of the heat of Phoenix and enjoyed Pine. I've heard and seen that this place is supposed to have some of the best pizza in AZ so of course we had to try it. I didn't mind the wait because the servers were attentive & quick , but our server sure was not happy to be working and it read all over her face, a smile goes a long way. But anyways we ordered the wings, the all meat pizza and the spinach, artichoke & chicken pizza. First thing we got were the wings, they were raw so couldn't even try them & that immediately turned me off. There was no point in telling the server because again, she didn't have a care in the world. We got our pizzas fairly quickly after and they were just ok. I don't see what the hype of this place is but I definitely wouldn't eat here again when visiting Pine. Disappointed for sure! read more

OMG best decision ever! My boyfriend and I took a day trip to Payson and visit Tonto Natural Bridge. We were super hungry by 1pm and looked up local restaurants, my bf is a huge wing lover and the wings on the reviews didn't seem so appealing but the pizza looked amazing. We decided to give it a try and let me tell you we do not regret eating here! My bf and I loved everything. The meat pie was delicious, and the pepperoni was to die for. We will definitely come back again. read more

Came here on a Saturday evening and the place was packed! We decided to order to go because it was a two hour wait..BEST FOOD in Pine!! Thank you Ashley for taking our order to go. My husband and I stopped in for dinner on a Friday evening around 6 while staying at the Strawberry Inn cottages down the road. This place was busy, but the host/server/seemed like he was doing a lot got us checked in and invited us to a cool little area with seating, and some patio games (corn hole and Connect 4) we grabbed some drinks from the bar and chilled out for around 30 minutes waiting for our table. I had the drink special ( Rum & Dumber) and it was phenomenal so I had another lol. Most of the seating is outside but covered. They also have another little bar attached where there was a band playing. While waiting about 15 elk came by which was really cool to see. Once we were seated our server was also the bartender and she was busy but she made sure she got our drink orders and then food in pretty quick. We decided I'm on the wings and a basic medium pepperoni pizza. Food came out quick! Wings are full size and delicious...they are grilled! The pizza was fantastic!! The medium is about 8 small/medium sized slices but enough for me and y husband. Since everything was so good, Inhad to try the dessert. I chose the chocolate chip macadamia coconut skillet cookie with vanilla bean ice cream, and OMG it was sooo delicious !!!. This place is a must if you are in the area. It seems to be busy specifically on the weekends but definitely worth the wait...or you can place an order to go or pick which is what we did the next night. read more

I just wish I could order their beer cheese by the BUCKET. The pizza is pretty fantastic too.

We have eaten at the Parlor, Pizzeria Bianco and every wood fired pizza place you can think of in the Phoenix area and this little place in Pine, Az can hang with the big boys. Oprah should have eaten here, she would have enjoyed it more. My wife and I made a day trip out of it from Mesa. I love their White pizza, super creamy, if you can say that about a pizza. If you want to kick it up a bit have them add green chiles to it. You won't be disappointed! read more

Old County Inn - White pizza!! Love it - Pizza Near Me - Pine, Arizona

We ate here for dinner and ended up getting wings, pretzels w/beer cheese and a pizza (pepperoni w/ extra cheese). The pizza was terrible. Save your money, it tasted like a greasy home made pizza, just not as good. The pretzels were beer cheese was very good. The wings were huge portions, but average at best. Prices were not cheap. I feel all these places charge a ridiculous price for items because they can due to location. Seems most people here are visiting for the weekend and are not worried about spending. I respect the hustle if these places, but the food here was average at best. read more

I love hitting this place any time I'm in the area. I wish that were more often. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Arizona. I absolutely love the buffalo chips. They come out warm with the buffalo and blue cheese dressings. And the pizzas are excellent. Service is pretty good too. Not 100% but most of the staff are friendly and food is served pretty quickly. OCI went through some growing pains for a couple years but now it is totally dialed in. The owner really listens to customers challenges and makes all needed changes (which were staff related never the food).
