Naked wings w/side of ranch and buffalo sauce
    Jekeia C.

This OC is connected to the Best Western Plus Hotel. We decided to eat there because it was convenient. We had the wings with the buffalo sauce and ranch on the side. They were extra crispy and cooked perfectly. We also had the "Meats Me" OC thick pan pizza. The crust wasn't as crispy as I like but the overall pizza was good. Our service was amazing! Our server was so funny and attentive! He made our experience better than I could have imagined. Inside was actually not too loud, there are TVs everywhere but they were muted while we were there. There is plenty of parking and it's extremely convenient if you're staying in the Hotel.

Our 50min trip to Dubuque was to look for a car. There are a lot of pizza joints in this town. Despite OCP being a chain, we really enjoyed this restaurant and the choices on the menu. The ambiance is a combination of rustic and sports bar....perfect. Our server was prompt and friendly. The food was all prepared and presented very well. No complaints. First off, I could've eaten those Sicilian Pepperoni Wraps all day!! They were so good. Spicy pepperoni with a bit of cheese and sauce wrapped in soft, chewy pizza dough. (Just typing this makes me want to run out and get some.) Under crunchy garlic bread & cheese was a big square of lasagna. A balanced combination of meat, pasta and sauce, and oh so tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our OC Thick Pan Pizza. It had thick layers sauce, cheese, and meat bursting with flavor with just the right amount of spiciness on a tasty crunchy crust. It's baked in a deep dish pan, but it's not a stuffed pizza (like Giordano's). Still, it's a belly-filler. My only regret was that my stomach wasn't bigger to try their desserts. At least we had leftovers to enjoy the next day. We have to return to the car dealer, and you can bet I'm gonna stop into Old Chicago again. It's worth it.

This restaurant is located by the Beat Western in Dubuque Iowa. Their menu is filled with lots of delicious choices. Pizzas sandwiches salads and wings. I ordered the chicken avocado salad with sundried tomatoes in a lemon vinaigrette. Wow yummy. My sister ordered wings and was very satisfied. Their bartender makes the best dirty vodka martini I have ever drank. I am a fan

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. One star is too high. Worst service I have ever had at a bar. Sat there for 5 minutes while a bar tender was talking to someone, the fact that I was there was oblivious to him even though I was only a few chairs away. I ordered chicken tenders...pretty simple but they were burnt. For my second beer, I waited even longer than my first before anyone said a word to me. Long story short...stay away because the service and food both suck.

Thought I'd try the rustic chicken a new item. The picture on the menu looked and sounded great. What came was dry and unflavorful. The chef totally Forgot the balsamic drizzle. They did provide me some in a cup later. The tiny flattened chicken breasts spent about twice the amount of time either on the grill or microwave , not sure which but tough and dry. Service was slow but our waitress was running all over the place while other servers were standing around. We had a party of 9 and they tried to put us on6 top. Took nearly 10 minutes to decide to put some square tables together. The food for the kids came out nearly 5 minutes after everyone else.

Mason Dixon Saloon, as it is unfortunately titled and branded, is one of the only places in Dubuque…read moretoday that provides pretty darn solid ribs and smoked meats, as some of the other BBQ joints have shuttered over the years. I am pleased, in fact, to report that in having tried the ribs, they have smoking down pretty well and churn out some good food. On other visits however, I was surprised to find the pork on the Cuban sandwich and basket to be an odd texture and pretty off tasting. I'd say that the food is pretty standard otherwise, with what seem to be the usual Cisco/USFoods frozen to fried fare. Nothing incredible, but your familiar greasy stuff to get a quick, cheap-enough lunch in. The service over the years has been mixed as well, during the table service hours, the place has had attentive and kind service, but every weekend the place turns into a confused staging ground for what all-too-often seem to be fake-ID toting college underclassmen. At these hours, the place feels uncomfortable for anyone over 22, and it's hard enough to get to the bar rail at these hours any way, much more-so to be seen by tenders that all too often are overstretched if they're even behind the bar to begin with. There's also the obvious gripe with the ambiance. Bourbon barrels cut and stacked along the walls, set against the backdrop of a big crocodile crawling the room -- pretty cool, if not a little kitschy. The obvious problem remains: why the homage to the Mason Dixon line? A symbol of the south? A bygone time? Something to suggest that the ~perfectly fine~ ribs will transport you to another place? My thought is that all too often, and rightly so, it's associated with the border into a land where slavery existed right up until the line was no more. A line crossed to become free, or on the flip side enter a land where it was okay to treat a black man as something sub-human. If that's where this saloon wants to transport me, I'm good. They changed their branding from a confederate flag striped longhorn to what it is now, but the name and the feeling remain. I should hope that they can see that in a Dubuque that is hopefully changing with times and trying to be a welcoming place to folks of all races, colors, and creeds, it may be time not just to retire the flag, but consider what the line their named for stands for to people other than the white guys in their hometown (a group that seems to want the good ol' Southland to adopt the rural Midwest).

Just an FYI... it does appear that the cauliflower crust has rice in it, as does the Keto crust, which I wasn't even aware existed. How do we know this? My son looked it up online. The staff was not able to answer the question regarding ingredients. They also rub all crusts in the same cornmeal before prepping it, in case you are corn or grain-free.
