Just tried this place out with some coworkers, and we are glad we did. We normally go to a place a few blocks down the road, but decided to try Oki Doki out since it was closer. The Fish Island and Alaskan rolls were really good and fresh. We have also found the Lemon Salmon and Pink Lady rolls to be quite good as well. The server was also super friendly. I was amazed at the quality of the food and more important, the service from both the chef and server. From all the places I've tried, this is one of my go to restaurant. I had to stop to get gas and I was get hungry. I didn't have any particular cravings but when I saw the restaurant sign, I decided to give this a shot. For lunchtime, it was very quiet. I was practically the only one there. I skimmed through the menu and I decided to get the udon combo with the spicy tuna roll. Let's start with the udon. The birth was delicious but the portion was smaller than other places. I guess when you order the combo, the portion would be smaller as expected. The spicy tuna roll was decent. I didn't taste anything fishy. However, I didn't realize it was made with cream cheese, or at least that's what I'm guessing. On the way home three hours later, I began to sweat profusely and my stomach was giving me a hard time. Lactose intolerance, but from what? I didn't eating or drink anything except for what I had at lunch. I looked up spicy tuna roll and more often than not, they add cream cheese to mix with the tuna. Now, that explains everything! I wish they write they on the menu so that others can avoid this sudden urge to go. I was luck that I was close to home. I can't imagine if I was stuck on the freeway during rush hour. read more

There were only a few people working, so the food came out slowly (and we got baked things which take longer,) but you can tell that they were working hard to do their best! Waiter forgot to come complete our order so daughter's food came when we we were just about done. I will start off my saying the Bento box I had was very tasty indeed. Pork cutlet,California roll with a side of rice and salad. You also get the tasty miso soup. We went for lunch this past week and showed up at 11 to be told the sushi chef was not there yet but would be there shortly. 11:15 he shows up and then we get going. The waiter was a bit discombobulated the whole time which made the experience that much more odd. Point is, the food was definitely delicious after the bugs got worked out on service and I would eat here again but maybe not right at 11. I never order a basic California roll but everything got so complicated with the order that I was just like F it, give me whatever ‍. First off, yes there are some differences from the online menu to the dine in menu. But that is to be expected and if you look first at the online menu then it should not be an issue nor a reason for a poor review (they offer what they offer). My review is for a takeout order. I will mention that in dealing with the staff for takeout two different days in a row, they were polite and speedy (yet still showing care and caution for my order). Everything came neatly made and packaged well. Sashimi Combo, Salmon Belly, and Yellowtail Belly: very fresh and good thickness in servings. Super Philly Roll: Nice cut of salmon on top and right amount of cream cheese in the roll. Loved the spicy tuna. Sunrise Roll: tasty, enjoyed the salmon and mango flavor together. Takoyaki: slightly undercooked. Despite it being a little mushy (that's what happens when you get it to go rather than dine in) flavors on point. Maybe the inside was mushy because it was take out? Hard to tell. Yakisoba w/Beef: great portion size for the price, great taste BUT they did add WAY too much pepper to it. They need to tone it down and the dish will be much better. Cajun Tuna Roll: Very very tasty! Would recommend this and will probably continue to re-order this. Great spicy tuna and yummy crunchy bits. Pittsburgh Special: Nice crunch from the cucumber, good size piece of avocado and salmon. The only thing I did not enjoy was the amount of cream cheese in it, it was too much so it took away from the other ingredients. Considering COVID price increases, this place gives a good amount of food for what you pay. We spent $60 one day and $100 another day for 4 people (including tax and tip) and none of us were hungry after the fact. Great service, yummy food, quality food, and good portions. Pretty decent size place. The employees are so welcoming and are on top of it when it comes to serving you. I normally come on my lunch break with a coworker, she will call it in for dine in to speed up the process and it is always ready when we get there. It gives us plenty of time to eat comfortably before we have to go back to work. The food is amazing. It is a little pricier than most places but well worth it because of the service we get and how delicious the food tastes. I would rate it 10 stars if I had the opportunity! read more

During shutdown I went out of my way to support this place because of how fantastic the quality of sushi and service is to me. I simply love this place. I was so pleased to find that they finally reopened for seating and can't recommend this place enough, their selections are always so fresh and never dry, their staff very attentive and kind, and their bathrooms clean. They usually give extra with my order, and are generous in any wine orders. I highly, highly recommend you give this place a try. I usually get sushi pairs of shrimp, yellowtail, eel, tuna and salmon. The eel hand rolls are fabulous and I love their rainbow rolls too! They have teriyaki bowls, udon and soups also for anyone a little hesitant to try sushi but you won't regret it. read more
