No power. No screen. Nothing. I had looked up how to potentially fix it myself and after a few minutes of research, I figured it was just easier to take it to a professional. They did some things / reset some things and what not and after 30 minutes, everything is working perfectly and only out the repair fee (as opposed to getting a new receiver or whatever else). I was sitting inside my car the entire time, and they clearly hoped I wouldn't notice. It gets worse. They poked a hole in an OEM headlight component that was specifically designed to prevent humidity from getting inside. When I questioned it, I was told, "It's fine, it won't get wet," and they slapped a sticker over it like that somehow made it acceptable. This isn't just poor workmanship -- it's careless damage to factory parts and a complete lack of honesty and accountability. If you don't know how to properly fix something, say that. Don't experiment on customers' vehicles and destroy OEM components in the process. Completely unacceptable.

I arrived 10 minutes early, and to my surprise, the shop was already open--always a good sign when a business is ready ahead of schedule. I was greeted by a friendly old-school rocker-type guy who was eager to help. I showed him the dash cam and he gave both it and my vehicle a quick inspection. He confirmed he could install it properly. We agreed on a fair price, and he quoted an estimated time of one to two hours to ensure everything was installed smoothly. I walked home--about a 30-minute walk--and by the time I arrived, the rocker dude called to let me know the job was already done, which was a pleasant surprise. My wife gave me a ride back, and I picked up the car. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the installation and the speed of service. However, I do have a couple of points of constructive feedback: 1.
