Got a Carplay system installed here by Kano about a year ago and it's still working phenomenally! It took about 1-2hrs for my Volkswagen Jetta if i remember correctly so definitely bring something to pass the time! I plan on coming back to install new speakers!!

Head Unit Sound system upgrade wirth backup camera. Pros: Responsive. Price is fair and competitive. Kano works fast and his location has access to electronic supplies making it convenient in case you brought your own system for setup and you forgot or brought something with wrong specification. OK customer service. He accepts Zelle or any Bank transfer. Cons: Does not do testing or quality checks. Back up camera installed was in opposite orientation, I was the one who found out when I did some test before leaving the shop. My old camera almost got lost as his co worker misplaced it after removing too. Took us 5-10 mins looking for it. Head unit is not snuggly fit and is shaking, I found out when I areived home, had to fix it myself at home. Backup camera was installed way too upward i had to redo it at home as they wanted me to leave the store as another car is coming. They also broke my cargo bag at the back, they cut it without informing me. Recommendation: Do testing and quality check after completion of work with the customer.

I saw Yelp and also one of my friend introduced this shop to me for my car project. I wanted hood/roof wrap, speaker upgrade and chrome delete and they offered me that they can do all of them, I would give separate grades for those services. Audio upgrade : 5/5 stars. Works very well and sound has been much better than stock. Hood/roof wrap : 5/5 stars. It came out nicely and worked very well. Chrome delete/emblem debadging : 1/5 stars. Unfortunately, little details and finishes are lacking here. I already see tiny bubbles and film particles gets up from the surface. From debadging work, they just took those badges out and didn't finish work and I had to finish them cleaning up the surface for 30 minutes(I also paid this as a project too). Other : 1/5 stars. I saw one of their workers spilled out sodas from the roof when they were working on thw wrapping, they didn't clean it up and just wiped them off and stains were still there and also soda was also spilled inside of my backseat and made my stuff sticky and I also had to clean those up. And I found exactly 7 of those wrap film particles inside of my car engine bay. They forgot to clean the whole thing. It took 2 hours to clean the whole car by myself. Summary : I was satisfied for the audio upgrade even if I waited 6 hrs on first day. I gave them another day to work on details and everything but those other works(wrap, chrome delete job and cleaning up my car) were horrible. I wouldn't go back there for those.

I do not recommend. Unprofessional, messy and scattered doing different installs at the same time. Gauge meter pins were disconnected/damaged during install of maestro. Wouldn't acknowledge the damage, tried to say it was already like that. In addition I was charged tax for labor, they added a bunch of other charges and a 2 hour install turned into a whole day. I was assured that installer could complete my install with everything that I wanted. In the end maybe it was a bit more than you can handle.

My car was DESTROYED by this guy. Worst experience I've ever had at a business. Stay away at all costs. I came in for a touchscreen stereo install and an amplifier install. He installed the amplifier and told me to wait for the screen to come in before he could install it. After I left the store, I noticed that the amplifier would only work half the time. In other words every other minute the volume would blast and then it would go quiet. I came back the next week to get the screen installed and told him the amp didn't work properly. He fixed it and installed the screen. When I left, I noticed on my drive home that the audio didn't work. His solution to this was "just unplug it and replug it when you start your car" which isn't ideal but whatever. Within 2 weeks of having the amp fixed, my speakers randomly started blowing smoke and something was clearly burning inside my car. I could smell the smoke coming from the trunk. I called him and came in the next day to get it fixed. He told me that the amp blew out and all of my stock speakers were destroyed. For the cheap price of $500 I could get all the speakers and amplifier replaced. I took the opportunity because I was low on money but this was a huge mistake. After the speakers were installed I drove home and within 30 minutes of me driving the speakers BROKE and sounded terrible. I told him what happened and he told me I had to wait a WEEK to get it fixed. After waiting a week and setting up an appointment I came into the shop, waited for 2 HOURS just for them to tell me that they didn't have the speakers. Came in 2 days later waited another 2 HOURS just for them to tell me that they didn't have the speakers AGAIN. FINALLY came in to get my 2nd pair of speakers from him. He installed it within an hour and sent me home. Not even 15 MINUTES into my drive home the speakers blew out AGAIN. I called him and he told me to come in for a replacement the next day. I came in and told him that I was getting tired of everything breaking. He told me that this next pair of speakers were the last ones he was going to give me because the "warranty doesn't cover any more" Guess what.. not even 30 minutes into the drive home, they BREAK. At this point I had just accepted my loss and realized that I was played for my money by someone that had no clue what he's doing. This isn't even the worst part, a few days later I picked up a girl for a date and when she hopped in the car and pulled the door handle the ENTIRE DOOR FELL OFF. I can't make this up I was mad embarassed!!!! I later checked the rest of my door handles and THEY ALL FELL OFF WHEN I PULLED THEM!! I took my car to a collision center and they told me that whoever took the doors off completely BROKE all of the BMW clips that attach to the doors to the car. Not only that but they carved into the door to make space for 5 inch speakers because they didn't wanna put 4.5 inch speakers in it. Fast forward 9 months later and the screen that I payed 1200 for only works half the time. I also now have a "battery drain" due to the faulty install of the stereo I'm so disappointed in myself for trusting this business, Kano and his guys are all super nice and chill but they have no clue what theyre doing and they will DESTROY YOUR CAR.

Kano himself was very responsive and friendly. The workers that installed my 2-channel Blackvue dash cam did a quick job and it was great until I connected the cam to my phone & realized they installed the front camera upside down. Contacted Kano & he said I was good to bring it in to fix. Perfect. I have a ceramic tint on my front windshield & was worried about the tint coming off, as was the worker. He proceeded to get a knife to pry off my cam & put it back on. Seemed fine until I'm 40 min into driving & the camera falls off. I'm not local so I can't return anymore & am now doing an 8 hr drive back home with my Blackvue camera hanging.

Got this Jensen installed, stopped working immediately, I'm disappointed because this is something i did not want.NO REFUND

Asked to speak to the owner, gave him personal number, it literally doesn't work. They have a no refund only exchange policy but they stated they don't have the equipment for my car and then the accommodation was this system but they couldn't figure it out. I figured it out but then the system stopped working completely. NO REFUND.

Well, us, for work related transfers and as cinefile-s (some movies - and they're rare were never released passed the VHS era). I started to look into Electronic Repair stores in the area and there aren't many left. Not surprised, but it's LA, so luckily, there are a few left in business, like FET Electronics. I read the Yelp reviews, it was encouraging and bookmarked it! Fast forward 3 months later, we had another issue with a similar Panasonic model that we own, so we decided to give the place a shot. My husband called over, talked to Mark, the owner and felt reassured after their conversation because he identified the issues just over the phone. We stopped by one day and dropped them and met Mark, who is very nice, knowledgeable, a real professional. Not many like him left behind! Too bad that is a profession that is going away. You don't always feel like throwing out equipment that has an issue and get a new one, not always that easy for your set up. Everyone has their reasons! The place is in Burbank, on Burbank Blvd. (close to the Hollywood Way intersection), we found street parking in front. The store might seem small, but it goes all the way back! It's a geek electronics paradise, lots of audio equipment around. Mark also did work for major musicians like Van Halen among many others - check his photo gallery on the wall! Famed clients! We left the VCR-s, called in about 2 weeks and he fixed them, he was testing them to make sure! After a few days we picked them up, he checked them for us, and he gives you a 3 months warranty which is great. If you're in a rush, this might not work out since Mark is busy, but if you're patient, he will get it fixed in a few weeks. It's not cheap, but he gets high quality parts and it makes sense for the repair to last. If you have an old piece of equipment that needs to be fixed, Mark is the guy. Hurry in before he retires! He is very nice, kind, nice to chat with, reassuring, calm, and very, very knowledgeable, you will trust him on the spot. Closed in the weekend! Great experience, great place, hope it will be around for a while. It helped our situation and the location is great! Nice to get great service at a local small business in the area!

Well, my friend Jenny's laptop and iPad were no longer charging and 3 places couldn't fix them…read more However, one place recommended MY TECH WORLD. I met her there Tuesday afternoon for her dropping off her devices and hopefully, they could be fixed. Pascal, who is the owner was extremely kind, technically savvy and reasonably priced and told her they were fixable. She picked everything up today and every problem was solved perfectly!!! Well, this gem is a mile from my home and I couldn't be happier to know that "help" is sooo close. Parking lot holds many cars so double yay! My friend said it was a wonderful experience for her, especially with the removal of stress that had been hanging over her head... ( remember, 3 places could not fix her devices)... She felt confidence in Pascal. He said he could fix the issues and he did!!! Bravo to a person of integrity and mad skills! Highly recommended!

I spilled half a mug of coffee w. milk on my Mac M1 Pro work laptop. I was panicked thinking it was…read morefried. As soon as MyTechWorld opened, I called and spoke to Paskal who quickly cleaned my laptop and let me know what the damage was. He explained prior to the cleaning the possibilities + costs (motherboard replacements, keyboard, etc.). He called me a couple hours later to let me know the damage was minimal and only a keyboard replacement was needed. I was able to get my laptop back basically brand new the next afternoon. He was so kind and informative. Easy to talk with. Would 100% recommend coming here.
