5 years later and I'm back at Olympic Tint to get another car tinted. Just like before I set up a 9:00am appointment for the service and was meet with the same positive energy. They they're so cool they even sold me on the upgraded tint which does cost a little more but again these guys are worth the dime and the time. This time there were a few cars in front of me so I had to wait a tad bit longer but honestly it's worth wait. There are a number of different Korean restaurants & coffee shops that you can kill time at OR just drop your car off and come back. With that being said it probably safe to say as long as they are hear I'll continue to bring my car(s) to them for all my window tinting needs. Give them a try! I've been driving a lot more and farther for a new job. So I decided to figure out who and where to go to get a quality tint and work done at a reasonable price for a 2025 Lexus UX. I got a few quotes that I kind of forgot about for a couple a months. When I finally decided to pull the trigger, I reached out again to the owner of Olympic Tint and got more details from the owner Mr Choi. He was responsive, friendly, and answered all of my questions on the phone before I made the appointment. They had availability later the same day and they were able to squeeze me in. Once I arrived, Mr Choi greeted me assessed my vehicle inquired, and confirmed what I wanted (ceramic tint with the UV and heat protection), and showed me the gradients of tints and what the options were, what would work best, and what other people have done to their cars. All the info was helpful because I had no idea other than lighter driver/ front passenger side and darker in the back. I wasn't planning on getting the front windshield but given that I'm driving more I went with the lightest in the front. The price for the front windshield was an additional cost but it was discounted by about $50 as part of a combo when getting the rest of the car done. We agreed on a plan and the cost for all windows. Mr Choi mentioned it would be about 2 hrs to complete the job. I inquired about a place to wait and he pointed me towards a very cool coffee shop (review to follow). I gave them an extra 30 minutes and walked back and saw the staff looking at my battery in the trunk since I drive a hybrid. Mr Choi explained that the battery died and they had to jump it but that the work was completed correctly and to specification, they were also very mindful to protect the car from water during application. He also explained this was unusual, he's worked with a variety of cars including hybrids and the issue with my car had never happened in his experience. I mean I get it. I get taking pride in your work doing a great job and something going wrong that is out of your control. I could tell he felt bad about the issue and the inconvenience this issue would cause. Maintenance service lights were going off, which required a dealership service visit. Mr Choi advised me to schedule a visit ASAP. I did, early in the morning for the following day. I dropped off my car at the dealership service department the following day and they discovered that my battery was defective and needed to be replaced. Since the car is so new it's still under warranty. If this incident hadn't happened when it did I may have never found it or found it after warranty coverage was over. Mr Choi helped me get an undiagnosed problem addressed. Thanks Olympic Tint team!! I'll definitely be coming back for any future cat tints. Overall very happy. I had a dashcam installed here for over $100 in 2022. While I could have purchased a dashcam myself for around $180, I decided to pay $300 for the camera and installation here for convenience. After the installation, the driver-side seat belt--where they ran the wiring--stopped working, so I had to return. Once they "fixed" the seat belt, the A-pillar trim started falling off, forcing me to come back again. I have now discovered that instead of properly routing the wire underneath or around the airbag, they ran the wire across the airbag, which is unsafe and unacceptable. This shows a clear lack of experience and care in their work. If you value your safety and don't want to waste money, I strongly recommend going elsewhere. read more

I just picked my car up from Olympic tint and I am very satisfied! Through the yelp app I was able to place an option to bid for multiple shops, this being new to me was great and I received a couple bids including an immediate bid for the job from Olympic tint within 10-15 minutes. Mr Choi reached out to me! The "top rated shop" in LA was not responsive and others who bid I declined after Olympic tint was first to the offer to bid and very responsive, they offered a concise price quote, a friendly approach, a set of directions to the shop, and an open and communicative experience. I had an easy time scheduling with them, and had a consultation set for last Saturday. We went over what my desired job was which was a removal of my 5th window, hatch, tint and to re do it; add a sun strip for the front windscreen. We planned it, but boy this place was busy, they had an unexpected short staff that particular day and we were able to make an arrangement to do the job the next week, Mr Choi was personable and kind, I understood the situation and since this was the best price and the friendliest experience I was willing to come back. No big deal, no arm twisting; totally fine. Dropped off today around the time they opened job was to take about 6 hours due to the removal of my old tint and the possibility of damaging my defroster lines (that wouldn't have bothered me in this LA climate but they knew what they were talking about and consulted me !) and they had it done earlier than expected. It was my fault for not checking if the quote was for regular tints or ceramic and it was unclear if the quote was for only the rear or the full back which includes a part of the roof on Tesla Model 3s. On appointment day I was greeted by Steve who went over all the details. He made sure I was getting what I wanted and the price was going to mat h or beat the competitors. I ended up going with 20% ceramic all around and full back for $550 since Steve was able to match local competitors. The key point was Steve will make sure it is a full back and not cut. I like the tints very much. Only problem was it took three days to roll my windows down and going to a place that requires a window rolling down was a little difficult. I kept forgetting a couple of times. I'm just glad my window was still okay. I had the windows lock for all the other windows. I did have some bubbles for a few days. Took my new car in, Johnathan was upfront about all costs. I was actually quoted for about 100$ less at a different tint shop but I did research and felt Johnathan's price was competitive and fair while the other shop's price was too good to be true. Tints look immaculate. 2-3 hrs turnaround as advised, just ubered to a restaurant and had a nice meal in the meantime. Notably I had a few door dinks and I know very little about cars. When I asked if he could take care of it for me, he put me on game about a cheaper method to get it done, despite his shop not offering that exact method. Basically told me he could do it but would be cheaper had I gotten elsewhere. Stand up guy in my book. Thank you! Watch out for the curb leaving the shop, ate it pretty hard! read more
