Really great guys over here at Monkey's auto spa. Came in recently for a window tint + car wash which exceeded all expectations I could've had. The tint was flawless, as well as the car wash. I'd much rather have these guys wash my m3 than any other local options, and I've tried many car wash/detailing services. I think the value speaks for itself considering the last time I visited I was able to go over a month without a wash since they really got down to business. If you're in South Park and in need of a wash, tint, or PPF - I wouldn't hesitate and just give these dudes a call. Even better, no appointment needed, just pull up in the alley and walk right in. So I was really hesitant in getting a detail because I've always done it myself so when I got my brand new 2026 Honda Civic sport I seen a business card advertising the services So I went and gave Monkey's Auto Spa a shot . I spoke to who he told me was the owner and I let him know that I just want a simple Detail, but I also asked about a paint correction because I would like the car to be a more glossy and shiny. So we agreed on a price for 240 for a detail and a paint correction. Mind you the service was done between 430 and 630 so after waiting a little bit longer, they were finally finished with the work I then went to pick up my Honda Civic after the owner showing me how good of a job they've done on a all black Tesla so I was expecting a really good service or at least the job to be done right I pick up my car and did an errand and was in a parking garage with amazing lighting so once I parked the car, I wanted to inspect the work a little bit better which then I noticed, if not all of the black plastic trim was completely scratched, which they have buffed over and then also sections of the paint completely scratched like I've noticed some high-end cars, but I didn't think that they would treat a mid range like this or even a first time customer I am not expecting a crazy, nice detail but at least a paint. Correction could've been done way better and could not have completely scratched up my whole car along with the trim. I am also in the customer service industry, and I take a lot of pride in the service that I provide, which I would expect a brand new shop to have the same thing in mind but no, apparently I was wrong there was residue of the buffing everywhere. The car was more dirty on some areas I do not recommend getting any service done here. They rushed the work and have absolutely no pride in what they do. I do not leave reviews often but I wanted to leave this long overdue review to say this is the BEST business and has saved me on multiple occasions. Every time I come to the shop I am greeted respectfully by the team and owner with smiles and nothing but love. I am so sad I moved 45 mins away from this place but I drive back just to get my car detailed because I cannot find a shop that does a better job. I had my 1991 Nissan 300zx tinted here all 4 sides and man they did above and BEYOND. It's a challenging car to tint but they nailed the job. Incredible attention to detail as they did not cover any of my original Nissan decals on any window. The free complimentary drinks in the waiting room was great and you have a great time with the two friendly Frenchies in the waiting room! For the cherry on top if you do all 4 sides you get a free complimentary light detail and they left the car spotless, inside and out. For the quality of tint and if you opt for the detail, it's an amazing value, great price. An owner was awesome and has plenty of experience under his belt. Will recommend all day any day! read more

I usually get my car washed here as it's my choice in the DTLA area. The owner is super nice and if you're lucky enough to come as the right time he has a little pup that hangs out in the lobby. Definitely worth the price for the speed and service. I am usually able to pick up my car within 1-1.5 hours of drop off. read more

Wow. First off Edgar (owner) is the man. Thank you sir. The price was great. The quality of work is great. He even gave me a mini lebubu figurine (that his daughter wanted for him to give to his customers). That's quality service. They also gave a nicely priced carwash before I applied the tint. He was patient and professional even though his shop was busy 3 cars ahead of me and his shop was closing in 2 hours. The cherry on top was the lifetime warranty as well. Now I would recommend anyone to go see Edgar and his shop for tints and car washes before he moves to Chicago.... That's right. A legend retiring... I'll try to see him before this business moves. Also, tip for anyone that uses google map to go to Monkey auto spa is the address says it's a right on Flower st but it's go straight on Flower st. I came back to this tint shop to address a couple of issues after letting the tint cure for about a week. My back window tint had shifted slightly due to pressure, and there were a few bubbles on the back windshield. Edgar took care of everything right away. Without any hesitation and with no questions asked, he replaced the entire back windshield and fixed the back window free of charge. That level of integrity and customer service is rare to find. I also told him how much I loved how all my other windows turned out, and asked if it would be possible to get my front windshield tinted as well. He was able to do it for me the same day, and the results came out amazing!! Edgar truly stands by his work and takes pride in making sure his customers are happy. Amazing experience. Called Edgar on short notice after taking a dirty and rainy drive from NorCal to SoCal. I was visiting the area and had difficulty finding a hand wash that I had confidence in. I also recently had gotten PPF installed, and wanted to make sure it wasn't damaged from high pressure washing. The shop itself is beautiful. You can feel the passion for cars and pride in the work that gets done here. I forget the name of the gentleman who actually washed my car, but he did an amazing job and really treated my car as his own. The lobby, drinks, and see through window pane into the shop floor was a plus. I was in and out within 45 minutes and left with a great wash. Price was also highly competitive and very reasonable for the service and work I received. I will only and always come back here whenever I'm in the area. I came in on a whim for a simple car wash and ended up getting a detail due to the nice, but high-pressure salesman. I have to say, though that my car looked amazing when it was done... Very shiny and clean on the outside and smelled great on the inside. One thing I didn't notice until I was in better light was that my windows were all very streaky, but again overall my car looked great. The waiting room was extremely hot... No air-conditioning, but it did have complementary Red Bulls and Celsius's, which was a plus. read more

Honestly, great experience. I called that day, drove straight there, sat in the waiting room for 1.5-2 hours, and left. It was also by far the best quote I got and I called at least 5 other places in the area. I believe it was $240 for the front two windows AND the windshield. The tint definitely had bubbles that first day, but a few days later everything was fine. There was one or two small bubbles around the edges on the windshield that lasted a couple weeks, but I genuinely can't find a single imperfection a month later. The guys were super friendly and helpful choosing the percentage for my windshield, and I literally love getting into my car - it's dark inside even when it's bright outside. Literally don't even have to wear sunglasses anymore and the car doesn't get hot when it's parked in direct sun. I did 35% on the windshield and it's a bit tough to see at nighttime, but so worth it due to the benefits in daytime. Thanks again guys! read more

Pros: I walked in for a wash on a Monday & they were able to take me right away, nice people to interact with, & my car was done in an hour. Cons: Wash lacked attention to detail for the price ($110) still had streaks, bugs, and even plants still on my car. I needed a wash because I had done a weekend road trip & had bugs on my windshield & grill, otherwise my car was just dusty really. It's a new car & I keep it fairly clean so it wasn't too difficult of a job. I've had a mobile detail come clean my car after a roadtrip & it was spotless, but I decided to try this place because it's close to my new place. Unfortunately my windshield & grill still had bugs on it when I came to pick it up, I mentioned the windshield when I saw it & he did re-clean it, but I didn't fully inspect the car until I got home. It's unfortunate for the price to still find bugs, leaves, and undried water running down in areas. I also had a mark on my windshield which I thought were bugs, but the guy said it's a scratch on the inside of my windshield, I obviously can't prove they did it, but I've never seen a scratch before with any other cleaning service & I personally do not touch or clean the windshield so it's hard to imagine it was there prior. If you absolutely need a wash quickly then maybe come here, but I've personally had better washes for less. read more
