Now, I recently had a problem with the tint on one of my windows due to issues my car has, being in the sun so much, and they fixed it right up within 20 minutes and even cleaned up the rest of my windows (which were very dirty) for no extra charge. I offered to tip but was immediately rejected and told that I am a valued customer and a tip was unnecessary. These guys value their customers and take pride in their work. All the previous reviews go to prove that. I've already recommended people in my family to get their tints here, and 1-2 years later, no problems whatsoever. To make matters harder, there are two tabs on each side that make getting into the corners almost impossible (see picture). Lino was super upfront and explained that without the top opening, it would be a tough job and he couldn't guarantee a 100% bubble-free installation. But after about three hours, it came out perfect! He pointed out a few tiny imperfections that will dry up and disappear as it cures, but reassured me that if anything is still there after a week, I can just bring it back and he'll fix it. What impressed me most is that even though the original quote assumed the top would come down to make the labor easier, he didn't charge me a dime extra for the additional effort. I highly recommend Top Tint Shop! They are super honest, friendly, and skilled at what they do. Plus, the waiting room is really comfortable, featuring a big puffy leather couch and complimentary snacks. I'll definitely be back to bring my wife's car to get the side windows tinted as well.

The repair was finished in no time, and he was very honest about what it would look like and if it would disappear (spoiler alert: was a bad hit so it won't be invisible unfortunately) It was fine to me. He's been telling me that the scar cannot be removed and you will still see it. What is the point to fix it then? He charged me $145 for one small little chip ( including his travel fee) when he doesn't even have a shop anyway. I told him that I am not happy about the results, but HE SAID HE IS SO HAPPY ABOUT IT. HE WAS SATISFIED WITH HIS WORK. I guess He doesn't care about the customers, but only his feelings. He offered me to clean windows with special tools, but you will be disappointed. Totally NOT WORTH IT. I just got ripped off. I have to look for another repair shop for sure.

Using Yelp's search feature, I looked for local shops and came across Emily's Tinting Stereo, which happened to be very close to home. I called the day before to confirm their hours, and the gentleman on the phone told me to come in at 9 a.m. when they opened. I arrived 10 minutes early, and to my surprise, the shop was already open--always a good sign when a business is ready ahead of schedule. I was greeted by a friendly old-school rocker-type guy who was eager to help. I showed him the dash cam and he gave both it and my vehicle a quick inspection. He confirmed he could install it properly. We agreed on a fair price, and he quoted an estimated time of one to two hours to ensure everything was installed smoothly. I walked home--about a 30-minute walk--and by the time I arrived, the rocker dude called to let me know the job was already done, which was a pleasant surprise. My wife gave me a ride back, and I picked up the car. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the installation and the speed of service. However, I do have a couple of points of constructive feedback: 1. Payment: When I went to pay with a card, the agreed-upon price increased by about $10. While not a dealbreaker, it would've been nice to know that ahead of time. 2. Yelp Discount: I asked about the 10% Yelp discount advertised on their page, but was told it couldn't be honored because the boss wasn't on-site. Again, not a big issue for me, but future customers should be aware the discount might not always be available. 3. Interior Care: My vehicle has a high-gloss center console that scratches easily. When I got it back, I noticed some scuffs where parts had been placed during the install. I understand this kind of thing can happen, especially with poorly designed interiors, but I'd recommend a bit more care in the future to avoid avoidable damage.
