I think the pricing is actually pretty reasonable and the quality was perfect. I called several places to get a quote for a window tint on a BMW 5 series in Koreatown and the LA area. A Plus Tint was the first place I actually called and I ended up choosing this place for several reasons. The owner who picked up my call was so friendly and patient with me. He took the time to explain the differences between the film they use and the types (ceramic vs. regular). He understood my situation because I didn't want to spend too much money on a lease, but at the same time, I wanted to stay cool and protected from the harsh UV rays while driving. He suggested I do ceramic in the front and regular in the back to save money, I really appreciated this because he was willing to work with me and my budget. The quote I got from A Plus Tint was also very reasonable. Did I find places for cheaper? Of course! But they were bit of a drive and were not using high quality films like they do at A Plus Tint. (Here, they use SunTek and Johnson films, with SunTek being the better quality one). While I did not have an appointment, he was able to fit me in. The service was excellent and so was the work itself. I'm so glad I found this place and will highly recommend it to my friends and will definitely bring my future cars here. read more

I'd highly recommend A Plus Tint! I drove to about 6 places to get quotes and got another 5 though Yelp. The guy (I'm sorry didn't get his name, younger guy, perhaps owner?) wasn't pushy and didn't try to schedule an appointment with me right away. He was really nice and showed me what the different options of tints would actually feel like, and took the time to explain the differences. Some of the places I went to didn't give me any options nor explain anything to me. They just said "this is the price, when do you want to come in?" Ugh.. There are 3 options to choose from. I chose ceramic all around: 5% back, 20% front and ceramic on my windshield. You can totally feel the difference, especially in this year-round Cali sun, it blocks the uv rays which is bad for your skin! LOL. But no, really. I'm obsessed and it looks so fresh! If I could give them a zero I would I brought my bmw here for a full all around tint including front windshield they ended up scratching each window they tinted they ended up putting regular film when I paid for ceramic I found that out later. But anyway each window from cutting the film had a hard cut line on it front windshield omg the way they cut it was all wavy and pj top of all this I go back so he can fix the front that had some sort of hair or dirt under and he yells at me telling me not to be around the car and move away saying it will take 3 hours for one window when it took 3 hours for the entire car the first time he started using his hands to talk and go closer made me feel very uncomfortable so I had to move away and that's my review take what you want from me talk to some people in the area I know and they said similar things happen to them like this here read more

I requested a quote from Yelp and he responded within minutes with a detailed quote of different types of tint and pricing for each with the warranty limit for each treatment. He reached out to me by phone to set up a time. Timing didn't work out at first to both his schedule and mine but we made it work out. I came in, he confirmed the price for the treatment I wanted and told me it would be done within 2 hours. I was really satisfied with the work put in by the owner, who also happens to be the person that actually installs the tint. After I paid I hopped in the car and took off and immediately felt the difference in temperature with the ceramic tint. side note: the ceramic tint is a bit pricier but worth it and it comes with a life time warranty. I made an appointment with A Plus Tint to get my car windows tinted at 10am last Saturday. When I got there, the business was closed. I called them and they informed me they were closed on Saturday. I asked what was going on because I had made an appointment for that day at 10am. They asked me to come back on Sunday... but became flustered when I pointed out they had initially told me they are closed on Sundays and asked if they are actually open Sundays. They then asked if I could wait 20 minutes for the guy to finish his breakfast and head over. Keep in mind that their business opens at 10am, and it was a couple minutes past that. At this point I was highly uncomfortable with the way this was playing out so I said I was just going to get my windows tinted elsewhere. They then assured me the guy would be there in 10 minutes to open up and tint my car. I said ok, but I'm leaving in 10 minutes. More reassuring statements from them. I waited 20 minutes. No sign of anyone. So I left. They called me half an hour later, but at this point I in no way trust this company with my car. read more
